When we came to Hotel Joke, we had 3 different reservations. The staff did a great job in consolidating our reservations and even upgrading our room! We got a beautiful room with a little walkout for us to enjoy. The neighborhood was fun to walk around and some much to do. Montemarte is close by and so is the Metro to get around the city. There were so many restaurants to eat at nearby and so much to do. We enjoyed it!

The TV was an issue. It kept on turning on during the night unnecessarily. There was also this weird Chromecast request that was hard to use, so that was the only weird thing.

When i arrived the receptionist was really welcoming and friendly. there were many free snacks to help myself to including packets of crisps, biscuits, fruit and pastries. the mini bar non alcoholic drinks were free, I could control the heating in my room. I could easily walk to the moulin rouge (which was the purpose of my visit). i genuinely really loved this hotel and my room. .

The morning staff were not welcoming, they assumed i would know to take the plate from my table to use at the buffet area. They did not say good morning, or acknowledge me, even though I was the only one there. Breakfast is meant to be from 7 - even by the time I left at 7.30 they still hasn't prepared fully and were still bringing out hot buffet items. This is why i deducted a point. on a side note, the area is not covered by metro, only public bus.

Wonderful staff. The hotel staff made us feel special as soon as we step In the hotel they all had a beautiful smile and were happy to answer all our questions about the neighborhood and transportation. The hotel is located in a strategic neighborhood where easily you can take transportation to all the important places to see in very beautiful Paris. The room was also very clean and we were happy with the size of the room and bathroom. The breakfast was nice with plenty of food to choose from, protein , fruits and many kinds of breads , believed me you have many things to choose from. Love the drinks , water, juice and soda that we’re waiting for us in the room. I am very please to recommend this hotel 100%. I will like to offered my gratitude to the lovely Vietnamese lady, sorry I do not know how to spell her name and also to the Rocio for taking care of us. To all the workers of the hotel thank you so much

I am very pleased with my stay

Me and my wife stayed for five days and loved everything about the hotel. The room was really clean, bed, towels and pillows really confortable. It has little perks like The all day free mini bar and snacks and Apples free. The whole Staff was really friendly and welcoming. Moreover, what a stunning breakfast. I would definitely go back there. And the hotel is really close to Subways: place clichy and blanche and to buses: 68 and 74. It was really easy to move around with public transportation.

The Hotel seems new with very helpful stuff. The rooms are very nice and the heating system works very good. The bed and pillows are comfortable. In the Lobby you have gratis snacks, coffee, tea, water etc. gratis 24h. The breakfast could be a bit better eg. muesli without suggar but the variation is ok. The Hotel is closed to Moulin Rouge.

The cleaning stuff should be learned that if you ask him to leave the card in so that the electricity works, he will remove it anyway and took the card with him. The room then cools down.

Great location very close to Moulin Rouge and Montmartre; beautiful rooms and well-equipped bathroom; water, Pepsi and juice in the minibar that is complimentary; good wifi; great breakfast - and bonus service that was so welcome and unexpected - they have a bar of pastries and crisps etc open from the afternoon and all night which was great for our kids; at breakfast they have packs of nuts and dried fruit that are complimentary snacks for your days sight-seeing - I have never experienced this before. Friendly staff available 24/7.

Breakfast tables are limited so we had to wait a bit and also simply rearrange some places ourselves because there is only one person serving in the mornings - but that was minor.

Amazing hotel! Superb location really close to Moulin Rouge and the Metro stop Blanche (and others), walkable to Montmartre, really friendly and helpful staff (like so helpful and accommodating), complimentary soft drinks in the room minibar, free soft drinks, coffee, tea, juice, snacks and pastries in the hotel reception from about 2pm till late (which you can also get if you go in to other branches of the Astohotel chain), very clean, good value for money, area didn't feel unsafe as two female travellers, cute decor (funky magnetic word tiles above the bed to make into sentences), they provide shampoo/bodywash but in a pump in the bath/shower (not in little minis as pictured if that affects what you bring), 24 hour reception (they need to let you in the front door at night as you only have a door key rather than front hotel entrance key, but it's fine, there's always someone there).

This hotel is a true gem in Paris. The location is amazing. It's just two minutes walking to metro station, the well-known Moulin Rouge is only 3 minutes walking. There are tens of super markets, groceries, restaurants, bakery in surrounding, The staff are very welcoming, smiling, friendly, and helpful. The room is cozy and all n ecessary needs are available. The mini bar is full of complementary water, soft drink, and juice. It's re-filled everyday free of charge. The are a wonderful collection of snacks in the reception from 02.00 p.m. till 02.00 a.m. free of charge. The daily breakfast was so yummy with very good varieties. It's very highly recommended. I can't wait to return back

The value, cleanliness and location was wonderful. It was not a hotel with frills but it was located within a walk to Moulin Rouge, Montmarte, Galleries Lafayette, to name a few. The design was cute, rooms small which I think is to be expected in Paris and it was kept very clean. It was certainly well priced and within budget for our girls trip to Paris.

I wasn't a fan of the front desk, I found the recommendations to not be great. There aren't closets in the rooms, but a rod and shelves are installed and some hooks to hang things.

Great location, close to bars, restaurants, easy access to 2 metro stations and bus services. Compact room but very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast with variety of options and all fresh and well cooked. Appreciated the snacks during the day and replenishment of water every day in our room. Lovely, helpful staff.

More space for storing clothes, only a few hangers provided so lived out of the suitcase most of the time. However city centre hotel so not totally unexpected. Not much to not like to be honest!
