Location is perfect, It's town center... What more can you ask?! And Breakfast has everything you need to start your day. Maybe a small suggestion/idea.... Make a daily Vitamin juice... like fresh pineapple with mint leaves and coconut in a blender or fresh ice tea. Food for thought.

Although, I wasn't 100% happy with the room I will always come back to this Hotel. I was told the AC wasn't working and unfortunately is not very comfortable having to sleep with windows open so close to one of the busiest roads in town. One other minor thing was the shower... for me personally and being someone on the bigger side... bathtubs are so old fashioned, so, I prefer like an open walk in shower with better water pressure. But hey... This is me personally. Apart from this, everything is beautiful and like I said before, I will always come back. Thank you

It is very close to the centre and a good place to visit around if you have a car

They do not leave a copy of the key if there is more than one host, which is not fair, as two people, although in the same room may have different plans or commitments. You do not feel much welcomed. I did not understand the big deal about that. In the morning I left the key card on the desk of the reception (no one was there in that moment, which is no problem) and in the evening they could not find it. A receptionist - not a young one - questioned what I said and said that clearly I did not leave the key at the reception in the morning (which I did, leaving it on the reception desk). I had to insist that I was not lying. He was not polite and in the end he issued another key card. I do not understand the problem with issuing a copy of the key card. Big deal!

The staff here were so friendly and accommodating allowing us to check-in early after a day's travel. The breakfast choices were extensive and really an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended hotel.

The reception, breakfast room and bar area has obviously been recently refurbished and is really lovely. The rooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean but are in need of an update to be in line with the rest of the hotel. We would still stay here again though.

Was clean, nice standard hotel room with nice bath which I took full advantage of and had a long soak. The breakfast I thought was really quite good with a good choice of hot and cold food. The first time in this trip having a hot breakfast with bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans etc. There was also a good chose of fruit, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, pastries, breads and good old Tetley Tea Bags! A good cup of English Breakfast Tea! Again first time this trip being served a good cup of tea!

What would have been really good would have been able to have tea and coffee in the rooms. There was a fridge in the room, but nothing in it. So you could easily store a small UHT pack or a small pack of fresh milk in it for tea or coffee. The other problem we had was a bit of traffic noise. But really this I suppose was only to be expected as the hotel was on a main road. It wasn’t too bad keeping the window closed and it calmed down as the night went on.

Lovely new hotel, modern facilities, bright airy with windows that opened for fresh air, great after walking the Camino. Comfortable beds and pillows, nice big bathroom with white fluffy towels, few complimentary toiletries were nice. Lovely breakfast included, so many choices and a coffee machine. Nice atmosphere while eating breakfast, very enjoyable.

Carpet in hallway was very worn to other areas in hotel, maybe they will get around to replacing.

Reliable place to stay in the center of Vila do Conde.

I have known this hotel for years and I like it. When it was recently renovated many of its features, that represented the time when the hotel was built, were not respected or destroyed, turning it into one of these “conventional modern” hotels decorated with a dubious generalist taste that you see everywhere. It is a shame but unfortunately it is also a sign of the lack of awareness to our (and worldly) twentieth century heritage.

Rooms clean fairly basic, plenty of fresh towels and water daily, fridge in room. Breakfast plentiful and varied and fresh and well replenished. Lovely lounge and small bar. Good WiFi throughout. Staff at reception very helpful, stored luggage after check out. we then had a cancelled flight so went back one extra night then they found us alternative accommodation for the next night as they were full. They then still stored our luggage and arranged a taxi. Exceptional service. Excellent location.

Very smart stylish hotel , with super friendly, multi lingual staff. It was easy to get everywhere we wanted to be . The room was basic but spotlessly clean, the air con was excellent. Breakfast was very European but nice , with fresh breads and pastries each day and lots and lots of bacon ! There was hot water and fresh drinking water available 24 hours a day . Guests were a mix of European holiday makers and Portuguese business travelers. The photos on the website matched what we got

No kettle in the room( a posh coffee is only 80 cents in all the local cafes so it wasn't a huge issue) We had a twin room but weren't permitted to buy a second key We had to move the bed and bedside cabinet to open the drawers in the wardrobe .

Room size was adequate for a short stay, it was clean and well maintained. The Hotel was nice and warm, much appreciated in Northern Portugal in December. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. Located on the border of the old historical town and the more modern areas. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby. Probably the best thing was the helpful happy staff. We would certainly stay here again.

We would have liked a kettle and tea, coffee making facilities in the room, apart from that we have no other dislikes.

Good location in the middle of Vila do Conde Friendly staff Good value for the price, I had 20% discount Good breakfast Free parking Air conditioning

The rooms are not soundproof. You can hear every guest that passes by your room My room was facing the front of the hotel, and you could definitely hear the traffic during the night
