In the past, we stayed at this hotel ..it was not owned by Marriott and it was very rundown and dirty. When I was looking for hotels in the Freeport area, I saw that the hotel was bought by Marriott and it was completely redone so I booked it for our annual girls weekend. When we arrived at the hotel, we walked in and I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the lobby looked. It was clean and neat and completely redone and modernized. The young girl at the desk was delightful. She helped us with a quick check-in and got us to a newly renovated clean Room. It was perfect for three girls to stay. Two queen size beds and a nice trundle bed/couch so we each had our own beds. There was a refrigerator microwave and coffee maker in the room. I highly recommend this hotel newly renovated,Nice pool & great breakfast.. so if you’re traveling to Freeport Maine, I recommend this hotel. Close to downtown and L.L. Bean.

Newly renovated so like a new hotel, nice rooms, gym, pool, dining area, and staff. All around most highly recommended. Breakfast also excellent. Next to Maine Brewery and 1 mile to LL Bean store.

We had a room facing I295 so it was noisy around 5 am when traffic picked up. You do not notice when you are awake. Bathroom door frame strike plate sticks out well beyond the door frame making it easy to catch on your clothes or arm. Safety risk.

Breakfast was great, lots of options- so happy they had vegan butter. The room was a a bit dated but could tell they worked very hard to ensure it was very clean. The bed was great, modern linens and was not too soft (medium firm).

Would love a non dairy milk included at breakfast. Unsweetened Soy is my suggestion. There were other guests smoking weed in their room both mornings- when reported to the front desk, they very quickly tried to resolve it and the smell was gone later in the day. It's close to the highway- pro and con- so it was a little bit noisy in the room.

This hotel is in a great location and very affordable. It was so affordable compared to surrounding hotels that I worried it would be meh, but we were so pleasantly surprised. There's a small pool and breakfast included. The person who checked us in was so friendly. Just a nice vibe and a more spacious room than we expected. Highly recommend!!

The only thing that some people might note is that the room heating/cooling unit is a little old school.

Location was easy

the room needs improvement. I feel like for the price they are charging they need to step it up. Some facilities were closed, and the room had a lot of wear and tear. Furniture seemed very worn and also randomly purchased. I think they are renovating and our room seemed halfway finished. I think needs to notice smaller touches and have it be more comfortable for the price. Too much money for what you received.

The hotel was great. The guys who checked me in were nice and friendly. I loved that the hotel was near things such as Maine Beer Company and downtown Freeport.

The pillows, why can't hotels get real pillows anymore instead of those tiny little things? I hate using those small pillows because if I move during the night my head falls off the pillow. Get some real pillows that fit the bed!

Room was clean and super comfy, bathroom was good. Pool area was perfect and fun. Breakfast was great - had hot and cold options. Location was right down the street from everything.

Shower pressure could have been a bit better.

The room was VERY clean, and it felt cozy. Only drawback was the closeness to the "highway" and you could hear the trucks driving by all night 😬.

There is only "ONE STAFF" in the morning to set up the breakfast, attend the front desk, answer the phones, do light housekeeping, etc...all at the same time, although the poor guy was AWESOME in the service he provided and really show he cared and tried VERY hard, can the Hotel hire another person ? One for the front desk and another for breakfast + ? 🤷

The amount of breakfast didn’t accommodate the amount of hotel guests staying at the hotel. Only a small amount of food was placed out at a time and guests had to wait for food. There was a bus tour at the hotel for 3 days; food should have been prepared for that many people. Several of the tour guests commented that the hotel was not as good as the other hotels on their tour.

Breakfast had excellent offerings. We stayed at this place when it was under a different name. The new owners are working to bring it up to date. Good job! Great staff!

Put a grab bar at the other end of the tub, not just at the toilet end.
