Lovely facility and very well maintained. I stayed an extra night to relax and enjoy the pool. I did switch to a standard (not suite) room for the extra night. Also well kept but had several pieces of "worn" furniture and a cheaper style coffee maker.
For a higher end hotel, it would be consistent to switch AWAY from styrofoam eating products and go with a paper or better a recycled product. Go ahead and charge an extra $ or so to do this. Also I know recycling service is hard to come by on Navajo/Hopi but that would be also appreciated to set up for at least aluminum cans. I am planning to bring a small group for a cultural seminar in 2025 and will be in contact with group sales. BOOKING.com It is important to NOTE on this property ahead of time NO ALCOHOL allowed on premises, Hopi/Navajo regulations.

I only have good things to say about the Moenkapi Resort. Desk staff, room all great. However, I do have an observation about bad hotel reviews at otherwise decent hotels. Sometimes stuff just happens, short staff, busy times etc and most importantly from witnessing some tense guest/staff interactions....many cause their own problems. Take a pill and lighten up #@!&head. Also don't just whine online ya passive aggressive coward. Actually POLITELY notify the staff about the clogged drain or whatever has the stick stuffed deeper even if it is at checkout so it can be fixed. Just my 2 cents.
No issues

The hotel was conveniently located outside Grand Canyon on way to Antelope Canyon/Horseshoe Bend. The rooms were large, beds and pillows very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were nice as well. The room had microwave and small refrigerator. Breakfast was sufficient, they did have sausage links snd cheese egg omelette in addition to cold stuff. Our coffee maker in room did not work
The price was high for quality and they would not allow one minute early check in. The front desk person at check in was not pleasant

Attractive and very comfortable. Free hot breakfast. Attractive prices as well. You can book a tour of the Hopi reservation here, which I recommend. There is a Dennys on the premises. This is a small town and there is only one other place to eat except for a few fast food places. It dies have a Bashas. The town has a Navajo myseum, which was closed, and a trading post with a good selection of gifts and high end crafts. It has a small but very interesting Navajo Code Talkers Museum. It closes at 4. It's a good stop on the road to Monument Valley. If you're on the way to the Grand Canyon, Tuba City is only a little way off the road. There is nothing else between Page and Cameron. Unfortunately, the turn off to Tuba City and Monument Valley is not signed. We wound up in Page, a scenic 80 mile detour.
Would have liked more restaurant choices. This is a very small town. Unhappy that the museum was closed in spite of the posted hours. The gift shop was small. I wish they had an array of Hopi crafts.

Beautiful, ornate hotel with a large airy lobby - a change from the boring chain hotels which are so common these days. Room was spotless and spacious. Very comfortable and quiet. Pool area was lovely. Highly recommended for a place to stay while visiting Grand Canyon. Not the cheapest hotel, but considering the location the price was very fair.
Breakfast finished relatively early. Only 1 or 2 chairs by the pool. Could have benefitted from more so that all guests could sit.

Location was absolutely ideal, the pool was clean and refreshing in the desert heat, breakfast was good - the sausages were very more-ish. The lady at Reception was very friendly, and took time to explain a bit about Hopi culture to us, as well as the reasons for the time difference between one side of the street and the other. Really appreciated that, and am now spending time learning a bit more about both Hopi and Navajo culture.
No complaints at all.

The hotel was very clean and well kept. It has begun to show signs of age but you can tell they do the best with what they have. The staff was helpful and attentive. The room was very clean and well kept.
The hotel is beginning to show signs of age. There are things that need to be fixed especially when it is customer facing (i.e. ice maker out of order; cover of the HVAC unit was taped on).

Clean, attractive, spacious room, helpful staff, good workspace, comfortable bed. I didn't need them, but the provisions for a handicapped person looked well thought out and efficient.
Wifi was rather slow--frustrating when you need to work. Thermostat was set at 80 degrees in December--took a while to cool it off and must be costing the hotel a lot of money.

I like the spacious room and the quietness.
I was able to work the television until a staff had to come up and show me how to work the remote, it was kinda of tedious. The one hour time difference interfered with breakfast time, since I had to be an event at 7 AM and breakfast was not served until 6 AM Hopi Time, but I had to be at work at 7 AM Mountain standard time.

This location was clean, compared to other hotels in the town, I appreciated the cleanliness as my sinuses and allergies can be troublesome.
The parking and ease of access from getting into the building from the parking lot, nothing really can be done, but the elevator wasn’t really in a convenient location from side entrances.
