We booked this accommodation as a last-minute holiday decision, and reading some of the reviews could put people off. But this is my honest review. We opted for the 2 bedroom attic. Clean, spacious, excellent views of the golf course, right next to the Plaza & very good air con. The property manager was excellent. Cancelled outbound flight resulted in a very late arrival. Eugene was in contact regularly with me to reassure me with all the instructions I needed to access our room. Even checked in with us to ensure everything was OK once we finally arrived & unpacked. The property is very well maintained & our room was spotless. I know people were complaining about the noise from the Plaza, but you can't have the convenience of the bars & restaurants & still complain about the noise. Of all the time we were there, yes we heard the music etc, but it didn't keep us awake. Would I stay here again, absolutely. We didn't use the pool area much, as other family members were on holiday in the same area (hence the last minute decision) and used their pool area more than the one attached to the Plaza. Of the couple of times we did use it, there are loungers you can hire for €3 a day.

Would be 10/10 if there was a toaster instead of a grill. But not a complaint. it just takes longer to make toast with two hungry kids.

We booked this at short notice to be close to friends who were staying in Villamartin. We just needed somewhere quiet, clean and cheap to sleep two nights and this ticked the box. The location was even surprisingly better than expected with a plaza of restaurants and bars right beside it and free parking. Noise could become a problem at the weekends or in the high season but we stayed here on a Monday and Tues night Mid October and asked for a quiet room looking out the back, so the noise didn’t bother us.

The pictures on booking.com give the impression that this accommodation has a swimming pool. In fact, it doesn’t. There is a view of the pool from the windows but the pool belongs to a neighbouring block of apartments to which guests of this hotel have no access. The guests in the next door bedroom had the TV on very loud at 7am in the morning and as the TV is mounted in the wall just behind our bed, we could hear every single word and it woke us up. This is more related to guest behavior - however the rooms’ walls could be insulated a bit better. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and the staff was very friendly.

As we were familiar with the plaza as I've lived there before,the noise didn't bother us.The hotel was nice, and the bonus was the small balcony we had,the gentleman at reception was very helpful.Room was spacious for 2 of us,even the kitchen was well equipped with cooker,,fridge,catle,very good AC.Nice to spend a week vacation.

Cleaning needs a bit of improvement,we didn't get any toilet rolls,new towels, or cleaning all week long.

The Hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood next to a golf course. It has free parking and is right next to a big square with a lot of bars and restaurants. You can go to the beach by car. It's a 5-10 minute ride. There's a mall area within 4-5 min drive. Our room was spacious with view to the swimming pool and the parking and golf course. Everything was clean. The room was very bright and there was a lot of natural light coming in. The people from the hotel were kind enough to give us extra blankets and sheets. There were a lot of guests with their pets. It's a pet-friendly hotel and this was one of the main reason we selected it.

A microwave in the room would be super useful. We can't complain about anything. Staff were quite helpful.

Modern The size and cleanliness of the room

Fantastic place if you don't need any sleep or an early start . Situated right in the plaza next to busy bars, the music coming from the bars can be heard quite loudly depending on the room you stay in. This can go onto 4am.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Villamartin Hotel GHB. The hotel itself is in a quiet and secluded location but still very close to the Villamartin Plaza with it’s restaurants, bars etc. I had a double room on the 2nd floor which had good facilities, was immaculately clean with a decent shower. I was able to park close by to the hotel in a safe car park at no extra cost. There’s a lovely pool and surrounding grounds that you can use accessing using a fob given by the hotel. Special mention for Eugene in reception who was very friendly, helpful and provided excellent help and recommendations.

Whilst not a new building the rooms are modern. The room that I was in was ideal for me as a solo traveller but could have comfortably hosted two. The room was immaculate. There were cooking facilities although I didn't require to use them.

On a couple of nights there was noise from inconsiderate guests who were no doubt straight from the bars in the nearby Plaza, although this is a reflection of their attitude and the hotel was in no way to blame for that.

Room was clean modern and comfortable. Excellent TV and great location

The only thing I would suggest was the shower tray in my room was too small. I'm quite small and anyone bigger would really struggle. The bathroom was large and a larger shower would make it perfect because the water was hot with great pressure

Beautiful room with a lovely view of the golf course. Right next to all the bars and restaurants but we couldn't hear any noise so it made for a peaceful sleep. Little kitchenette, perfect for teas and coffees and nice bathroom.

I would have liked to have been able to check in earlier - it is 3pm and / or check out a little later. 11am is quite early! We have a great selection of teas but it would have been great to have some coffee and milk.

We live in Spain in a Campo casa and booking at the hotel was to spend time with our daughter who lived close by . We found the hotel the best we have stayed in the staff very great the room was very clean and we had our dog with us and the manger moved us to a room which was more suitable for our dog as it was quiet. If I had to recommend this hotel I would give it 10 out of 10 . Would go back anytime. Very happy weekend away.

Would of like a sofa or soft chair to sit on as I have spine problems but other than that nothing.
