I wanted to eat something mid afternoon - the website advertises the spa bistro as an all day restaraut. Unfortunately I had already showered and changed back into my work out clothes when I went. I was turned away - I had to be in a robe. As a hotel guest who just left the spa this was kind of disappointing. The food was okay - I wasn't blown away by the breakfast options.

I love the view I enjoyed the little restaurants. It surrounded it in the shops. The spa was amazing. I wish they had a hot tub/Jacuzzi. The food was pretty good even though it was the same thing on this every day. The staff was very polite, and their serving was exceptional. The workout space was amazing. It felt like I was at my home gym.

 The shower kept clogging up and it was overflowing with me only being in there for two minutes I had kept turning it off. The carpet in the room looked older than me. The spa was incredible but the lady at the massage place was very rude and they did not offer, any deep tissue or rough massage!

Very quiet lakeside location. Clean room, tea and coffee facilities. Extremely tasty, varied breakfast. As I had to leave very early in the morning I requested and received a very good breakfast to go. Friendly, discreet, polite staff

A bit on the expensive side

Good place to unwind and pamper yourself with direct access to the pools (indoors, outdoors, fresh water, saltwater), spa (various sauna and steam options) and lounge areas (indoors, outdoors) via a corridor connecting to the hotel. Nudist areas may catch international travelers unaware. Great staff working the spa areas. Small but convenient canteen-style restaurant next to main indoor pool. Wide array of breakfast choices with optional seating on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake. Guests are asked to eat in shifts to avoid overcrowding the restaurant area. Good internet, coffee machine and small fridge in the room. Paid parking on site; check ahead for prices. Lake with walking/cycling path right at your door step; restaurants and shops in walking distance.

On both days of our stay, one pool each was under maintenance, including the only pool for actual swimming (main pool indoors). We only found out on arrival, no advance notice nor compensation. Pools get crowded easily. The double bed we booked was actually two twins put together; reception claimed that this was the only option available. We would recommend updating the room description accordingly. Our bathroom had a beautiful rain shower which was out of service possibly due to the German resource efficiency regulations. When we arrived, staff at reception were not up to par in terms of customer service and communication.
