The staff here is truly exceptional, providing the warmest of welcomes and a gracious check-out experience. Service in the restaurant and at breakfast – remarkably impressive for Italy – was impeccable and elegant. I slept incredibly well, lulled by the sound of the waves just outside. The charming, tranquil garden was a delight, and even on a rainy day, everything seemed thoughtfully tailored for comfort and enjoyment. A special thank you to the kind lady at reception who conversed in German with my dear mother, and to Ibrah, who served us with both refinement and subtlety in the restaurant and at breakfast. The owners clearly have a talent for selecting outstanding staff. P.S. Though it may be a rarity, I am always pleased to find hotels that feel akin to strolling through an art gallery. Those responsible for this hotel’s decor possess an exquisite taste.

There are always minor details one might find room to improve, but why dwell on them when everything else was so superb that it feels almost improper to mention the few trivial downsides?

I was welcomed with a personal note in my bedroom, which was very clean and comfortable, with fridge, electric kettle and AC/heater I can control (it had previously been warmed up for my arrival, very kind!). Secured parking for my motorcycle for half the price of cars, not full fare like many other hotels. Very friendly staff. Perfect location to walk and explore. Being out of season, I thank the hotel for being open, when most are closed. As a world traveller in my motorcycle, Hotel San Michele became one if my favourites!

Wonderful hotel, great location, private parking, sea view, dog friendly. What a gem we found on our way through Europe! It was just 1 night stay, but we will definitely consider another visit. The hotel is super dog friendly - there was a dog bed and a bowl waiting of us in the room. The room was spacious enough to fit 2 adults, a dog and our luggage and still have planty of space to move around. Small balcony provided us a nice view over the sea on a wonderful sunny morning.

I rented the “Apartment” room which is a two story two bedroom apartment home. Very Friendly staff - Lobby reception people, restaurant team and cleaning staff… all friendly and smiling. Massive square footage with three separate balconies. One balcony is massive, and it overlooks the swimming pool. Washer Dryer machine included. Full kitchen with cookware provided. Has a Huge Living room, and dining room. Free parking in the back. Excellent breakfast costs 12 Euros, and the breakfast includes eggs prepared to your specifications. Expect to see the house dog (beagle) walking throughout the restaurant. Walk to the beach - 100 meters across the street. Many excellent restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

This hotel is my new standard for the ideal relaxing holiday. If it wasn’t for my friend’s wedding I would have never stayed here, but I’m really happy we did. Normally I always want to explore the area, do stuff, be active. This time the hotel with its amazing garden and pool were all I needed. Go to the website, read the story about it and I promise this is exactly the atmosphere you’ll experience here. And besides the really well-collected mid-century/70’s/80’s design interior the staff is simply amazing. They are kind and they really understand their business. I felt at home. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And if you go, please also have a drink at the bar, take a massage (I didn’t, but it looked good) and enjoy the breakfast. Hope to come back here sometime.

The staff were all very friendly and we liked the dachshunds who came to inspect us on arrival. The family suite was huge, and had everything we could need, including a kitchen, and a washing machine. Plenty of storage meant we could tidy away and feel very much at ease. Everything was kept perfectly clean. Dinner in the hotel's restaurant was excellent, too. The location meant that after the day's outing we could enjoy the sea, the hotel's pool, or walk into town for dinner.

Location is great, very close to the beach and to a beautiful promenade. Most of the staff is amazing. View from room is good and great size of pool.

Parking is not well organized and cars park as they want (reducing the available space). If you order a drink, be prepared to wait a long time (and also prepared to get a negative response if you only want a drink. Lift is small and you have to wait sometimes a lot to get inside, moreover, the door in ground floor some times is not closed properly and it make the lift out of service until someone closes it properly. Pool does not have heating system so it is a bit cold in the beginning. For breakfast, would be great to have a bigger choice or get informed about what is available. Windows does not isolate noise from exterior.

Very friendly staff, exceptional delicious breakfast. We had a family room with one bathroom and garden & sea view which was beautiful. The pool was open and was very clean. Great location close by the sea.

Unfortunately one night was quite loud because of noisy neighbours, not a fault of the hotel. The windows were shuttering because of stormy weather what could be solved with new windows.

Lovely and wide selection of food, local delicacies and fruit

The hotel's location does not offer much to see apart from the local beaches. If one likes to use the beach in stead of the hotel pool, beware of outrageous prices for sunbeds.

Loved this hotel so much! Was pleasantly surprised, the pictures do not do it justice! Felt very luxury and boutique style hotel, the staff are so attentive and helpful! My favourite stay during our Italian road trip. The pool and sun beds feel very luxury and never too busy, the breakfast is great and the staff are amazing.
