Good location. Confortable rooms.

I booked via Booking. With a new modern CC where, for security reasons, there’s no name on it and only the las 4 digits of the number, no expiration date and no security code on it. It has to be retrieved. This card which was already approved by booking was not accepted al the check-in as source of payment. Fortunately my son had his CC with his name on it with him and we could use that one. I think the system has to be updated for covering this new cards.

Good breakfast, spacious room, comfortable bed and pillows, good lighting, pleasant staff, room cleaned daily. Did not have a chance to use the outdoor pool because of demands on my day but I always appreciate hotel pools that stay open until 10 pm.

Commercial location (not a walkable area); also, the pattern of the hallway rug made me dizzy when walking to and from the hallway … visually discombobulating. Location was a bit longer drive from the residential neighborhoods, specifically “The Meadows,” than the UTC hotel I typically book when visiting mother.

The room was excellent. Excellent cleaning and service too.

We had a bad experience in the pool. I have stayed there more than 5 times. Every year I travel to Sarasota and have stayed with you but this time they put a bar with alcoholic drinks with music in the pool and the music was very loud. Before there wasn't and it was better. There were people there drinking alcoholic beverages and they were drunk dancing and bothering the people who were there. .That should not be so. There were young people and children in the pool. I think the pool should be more family-friendly and not have a bar for alcoholic drinks.

The staff was beyond professional and kind. The room was so roomy with all the conveniences we needed.

I / we were extremely pleased with The Magnolia overall. ONE THING I/WE were not happy with was the $5/day charge for their 'GREEN INITIATIVE'. WHY does a customer that follows the request of the facility on the 'green initiative' clause and not have their room cleaned or bed(s) changed during a 3 day stay to support the GREEN INITIATIVE get charged when we SAVED them $$$ by abiding by this incentive/request? I WILL BE CALLING THE CORPORATE OFFICE ABOUT THIS. Yes we did have towels exchanged for clean ones, but no bedding changes or room cleaning was requested. THIS IS WRONG!

The property is located in a perfect location. The breakfast and amenities were excellent.

I really didn’t like the fact there was people partying in the back parking lot of the property until late at night. My room was right on the second floor facing the back parking lot. Other then that, We loved the property and everything about it.

This is a new build which was very clean and extremely well run hotel. Its in a fantastic location and is under 10 mins from downtown and University Town Centre. The breakfast offers more than a basic one with fresh fruit waffle machine and range of bagels/breads. The pool is shared with its sister hotel but 30 seconds walk. It jas washing drying and we used the bbq one evening The staff made the hotel the best we had stayed in. All are fantastically helpful. We were there over Xmas and they had researched and printed what was open etc

The gym is small with no bike. However a bench and dumbells 2 running machines. The hot food at breakfast offered eggs sausage and potatoes and perhaps needed a little variety but did not bother me as fresh choice for everything.

The location was perfect for my reason being in Sarasota. I was not looking to stay in downtown Sarasota or near the Key. I did not try the breakfast at the hotel. There is a Bob Evans Restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. Many other restaurants and fast food options are within a short drive of the hotel.

I didn't like the street noise at night in my room which faced Fruitland road. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend requesting a room on the opposite side of the hotel. I think the cost per night is a little high at this hotel. I would consider staying at this hotel again but I would also look at some other hotels if I return to Sarasota.

The hotel was new and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included with hot food. Culver's restaurant was across the road and had good food very reasonably priced. The shower was very large and had great water pressure. Beautiful pool area with beach entry.

The pillows were very small and the room did not have a bathtub. The pool was located across the parking lot.

CLEANLINESS. Pool and Tiki Bar. (Need bigger Pool Towels). Friendly staff.

Beds were wore down. I had 2 double beds and both of my beds were uncomfortable. they were both wore down on both sides of the beds. they were high in the middle of both beds I had to put the pillows around me. but overall i enjoyed my stay. just need to update the beds.

The personal in breakfast was not very friendly. The lady was very rude and delaying when miss any food. I ask for some missing food and she was rude
