The location - 4 blocks from the beach, 2 blocks from restaurants and shopping on 5th Ave South. The room was very spacious and 1940's style - 1 floor, no one above you. The set up of the furniture in the room (Room #1), the ease of checking in - key lock box on the door so no worries about when we arrived. Free bottled water every day and free use of the washer and dryer and detergent. Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash all in a dispenser in the shower. Plenty of clean white towels to use. 2 Beach chairs and beach towels in the room ready to use - no need to go to the office to ask anyone. K cups for the Kuerig. A kitchen with everything you could need for breakfast or snacks.

When I opened the door, the room smelled so good and it was so clean! 5 min walk to the most beautiful beach, 10 min walk to the 5th avenue where all the good restaurants are! that are so many different varieties! and get some ice cream as well! everything I tried was delicious! Everyday I got back to my room it was cleaned and organized again! They really made me feel taken care of and special! And the bed was sooo comfortable! it was hard to leave lol I am so glad I stayed there and I am not staying any other place when I go back! It made my trip extra special! 🙏🏼🫶🏻🙏🏼🫶🏻🙌🏻

As soon as I arrived, the owner/manager gave me an upgrade to a better room, with a fully equipped kitchen, which was very useful considering the restaurant prices nearby. The location is perfect and walking distance from the 5th Avenue South, the commercial street with good restaurants and stores, just three blocks away. Also, it is walking distance from the beach (~8min). The room was equipped with a nice couch, dining table, beach chairs, beach towels, etc. Good soft mattress and powerful air conditioning. In general, the room seems pretty new. There's also wash and dryer machines available for guest in the common area. Parking was free and there were enough spots for all cars. Overall, the neighborhood is pretty charming and safe. Naples is a great destination for those who want to relax near a white sand beach. I would certainly stay again at the Gondolier Inn.

Right off the bat, we were greeted with an immaculately clean room. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we were able to crank the A/C (a must-have in FL!). Being so close to the beach, we were able to keep our car at the hotel and easily walk. 5th Avenue was also within walking distance so we were able to walk there to grab dinner and breakfast the next morning. The beach chairs provided were perfect. The room had everything we needed and there were ample tv streaming platforms available. Check-in was contactless & very simple. The rooms have been tastefully updated whilst still keeping that vintage charm—Palm Springs vibes for sure! 10/10 stay!

Vintage mid-century motel in a lovely part of Naples, 10 minutes walking distance to both Naples beach and 5th Ave South. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished with contemporary furniture. The Gondolier offers beach chairs, parasol and beach towels in the rooms as well as free water. Our host was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We asked for a later check-out and were able to stay till midday the following day. We really hope the Gondolier manages to keep up retro vibe in the fast changing neighborhood with all the massive houses being built all around the place. The Gondolier is a true vintage gem.

Downside in an otherwise lovely place - bedsheets are 100% polyester - not something we enjoy sleeping in. At 300 USD per night cotton sheets should be a matter of course.

Room and property were very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Great night sleep each night. Had a mix of thick and thin pillows. Kitchen area are was very clean. Cleaning staff did a great job keeping room clean. A/C was good and ceiling fans in each room. Lots sun coming through windows felt like Florida. Beach, shops, tour boats, park with playground, tennis, basketball courts were all within walking distance. Short drive to zoo, fishing, etc.

No pool, but community pool was a short drive, $2.00 entry.

This place is amazing, cuter and cleaner than many other 3-star hotels we’ve been to in the US. Staff is wonderful, location is top notch, walking distance from the beach and from 5th avenue (main street) where lots of restaurants and shops are. Free parking on premise, laundry available. Rooms are cosy, quite big and well equipped (2 AC, 2 TVs…). Bed is super comfortable. If you are travelling as a couple, do not browse any further, this is true value for money, we wished we stayed longer!

Great location! 3 blocks from the beach. We brought our bikes and rode all around the neighborhood. The homes are gorgeous and one garden is more beautiful than the next! 5th Ave was fun to stroll down, eat and shop. It gets really hot at this time of year, so we enjoyed the AC of the bars and shops, saving the beach for evening and sunsets. The Gondolier exceeded our expectations. Owner was super! He even upgraded our room so we could store our bikes closer to our room. He really did a great job renovating the 1950's motel. Beds are a little too soft for me, but comfortable enough. Great little kitchenette with Keurig, small fridge, toaster oven and microwave. Small amount of dishes and utensils were standard. Each room has set of beach chairs and towels to use. Free laundry facilities, water, small coolers to use were a great touch! Loved this place!

Multi-plug by the bed with maybe some USB ports for charging would be helpful for people with CPAP machines and phone chargers.

Loved it, would 100% come back to stay more than just one night. Very well located and super comfy bed. Check-in was very easy, received a text with all information prior to our arrival.

There was a ventilation system (?) right outside of the bedroom, the noise was a little bit disturbing during the night. We don’t think there was a way to switch it off.

This is the sweetest little place. Very comfortable. Walking distance to the beach and 5th avenue where there is shopping and dining. It's really a fantastic location.

There aren't standard office hours listed or followed. We got there at 10 am because of an early flight. Thought we could store our luggage and take off. The office was locked, so no one would answer the phone. I finally instagram messaged them and got a quick reply. I know this sounds weird, but it didn't affect our stay. Just make sure you tell them up front when you will be there, so you have a lock box on your door. Also, ask for an emergency number.
