This is a beautiful property with a great history, in a really central location. The reception staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly Tiva who was very knowledgeable about the hotel’s history and talked us through the highlights of L’Isle Sur La Sorgue on arrival. We were also given restaurant recommendations and maps. The restaurant at the hotel was also very good and we dined on the picture perfect terrace. The suite itself was beautiful with fantastic double glazing for a peaceful stay. I would highly recommend this hotel in every regard.

I have written a review on Google Everything was excellent - very kind sweet staff Absolutely delicious generous breakfast in a lovely dining area. Sophisticated smart staff - very kind and warm - mostly female. Polite too and friendly. I didn’t like breakfast coffee machine - coffee too weak tasting and not full flavored.

The price extraordinarily high and I was informed this was because of reserving through booking.com. Breakfast NOT included though that was a prerequisite of my search again because of third party reservation. Slightly uneasy location due to its location at an intersection of major thoroughfares but walls of building so thick not a sound to be heard! For the price I’d both suitcases to have been carried upstairs. Had a problem logging onto high speed Internet but eventually it worked out.

My wife and I were traveling in Provence with a rental car. Initially I booked at this hotel for its easy access with parking, more than anything else, as the last thing I want is to navigate the narrow alleys in southern France small city centers. However, our experience at the hotel has exceeded expectation in every single aspect. Our rental car broken down soon after arriving at the hotel, needless to say, it gave us A LOT of trouble dealing with car rental/towing service. Multiple reception staff members (3-4 of them in total, on day of arrival/next day) gave us so much help (helping call the car rental company in french, holding car key/waiting for mechanic to show up, suggesting solutions, etc.). Deeply grateful. Location of hotel itself is great too, easily walkable to the small city. Initially was a little worried about the hotel sitting right next to a round-about, but traffic was actually light. Not much noise from the road at all. Room size is adequate, with all necessary amenities. May not be luxurious, but certainly comfortable. For the price, location, and service provided, I don't have any complaint at all. Breakfast is wonderful, especially with freshly made house-made pastries. They are superb, especially considering we have stayed at many high-end hotels in France including multiple palace hotels in Paris. The croissants may not beat the ones we had at Plaza Athenee or Ritz Paris, let's say, but they are pretty close in quality and thus more delicious than many other big-name 5-star hotels/vineyard chateau/resorts in Paris or Bordeaux or Provence region. To summarize, the location, the comfort, the breakfast/service are all excellent, and above all, the service has been exceptional. Especially considering its price tag, it provides unbeatable value. We would certainly stay here again if we ever visit L'isle Sur-La-Sorgue again.

The room was beautiful, tastefully done. The location was perfect for exploring the local restaurants and bars. The staff (during the day) were exceptional from the young lady that checked us in to Teva who looked after us with recommendations of local pastis and wines.

The night porter was quite rude. We had indicated that on one of the nights we would be home quite late because we were attending a wedding at a Domaine 30 minutes from the property. The night porter was aware of this and yet his attitude towards us (and apparently another guest who was at the same wedding) was appallingly unfriendly.

Very convenient central location. Warm & friendly staff. Very comfortable bed and room. Delicious evening meal in the restaurant. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Checking in took a little longer than anticipated - there were three or four other people needing assistance at the same time, with only one person available behind the check in desk, who was doing their best but it was slow. The restaurant meal was served quickly perhaps a touch too quickly!!

Location of the hotel was central, it was just a few minutes walking to restaurants and shops. Very clean room. Restaurant on site or a bakery next door. The staff was incredible, super helpful and provided great recommendations. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked well, which was a plus after a long day of walking in the summer heat! Bed was comfortable, blackout curtains were also nice since I had a ground room floor that was closest to the on-site restaurant.

Had a difficult time getting into the hotel one night. All gates and doors were locked as an attendant is on duty to let customers in when a service bell is rang. The attendant had not heard the gate ringing for my entry request at a door entry and the parking lot gate. While the hotel is great, I didn't like that I needed to rely on an attendant to enter the premises after a certain time.

Location was on a busy road, but we slept well as there was not much traffic overnight.I am a light sleeper and it was fine for me. We didn’t eat at the hotel. Bar was nice and relaxing in a busy town on market day. We were very grateful to escape inside and have a drink. Beautiful patisserie next door for croissants and coffee in the morning.

Their restaurant offers an excellent variety of choices. In fact, at the time of my trip (mid-summer), they are one of the few restaurants to offer pan seared foie gras. I regretted not to order it and later I couldn't find it anymore even in Paris. All other menu items we ordered are very appealing and taste so good. Their room is so spacious to fit our entire family with the sofa bed of decent size. The roomy high ceiling is also exactly what we enjoy. If we are in the area again in the future, we will definitely come back to this hotel and will even recommend our friends and relatives to this excellent hotel! We are also quite impressed by the excellent after-stay customer service. We had a forgotten item in the room after check-out. We just gave it a try to communicate with the hotel via the same channel we have been communicated via booking.com to see if we had any luck to retrieve the item. Their hotel staff replied back to us and arranged to have the item mailed back to us with subsequent communications. It is such an outstanding customer service that I have ever had with a hotel after check-out. Hats off and highly recommended!!!

The Hotel is perfectly located, best starting point to explore the charming town. The staff is friendly and professional. The restaurant and the bar are recommendable.

We missed an elevator and we had to carry our heavy luggage from and to the car by ourselves.

Beautiful hotel, we stayed during our wedding weekend in the area. Staff were helpful and kind. Rooms are very clean and quite spacious. Right in the center of town and easy to walk everywhere.

Parking can be a problem, not many spots and are very tight.
