Locorotondo as a location is wonderful ! We stayed there for 6 nights as it was our base for many trips around Puglia. We stayed in a suite which was amazing! Double bed and a bathroom were situated on the first floor and a kitchen with another bedroom with a small balcony on the first floor. Parking is possible in a nearby square (free) and breakfast in a nearby café. For breakfast it is still the same, but we were satisfied.

Only thing that may not be comfortable for everyone is a steep and narrow stairs leading to the first and then to the second floor. Not recommended for people with mobility problems, but it was fun for us !

My family love the fact that for a couple of days we felt the true essence of living in one of the true local houses (white trullo houses) in the valley of itria situated in the middle of the town of Locorotondo with a very nice and serene atmosphere. Locorotondo was a sweet and cute village that a must visit if you’re going to Apulia. We love it! Hands down also for Mr. Roberto for being sooo accommodating. My family is hoping to be back again soon! 💪🏿💪🏿🫡🫡👏👏

Great little town. Our initial room was way too mildewy/musty. Fortunately, another room (a suite) was available for an increase of cost. That suite was nice, but lots of stairs. In a great location and nice breakfast around the corner. After our initial check-in glitches the manager helped us move to new suite, even carried bags u the stairs. For the price, very nice.

Started off bad. We arrived a bit earlier than expected-don't! Called hoping to not just sit there while manager was having lunch. No such luck. Not his fault, but many other places would have tried to be a bit more accommodating.

Location is spot on, right in the old city center, close to all the Christmas decorated streets. Breakfast 2 min walking distance in a lovely cafe, very good value. Big apartment with full kitchen. Second floor, no issues for us, but someone with mobility problems should check and ask for ground floor if possible. Hot water and very nice balcony view. Staff was very friendly and happy to help anytime. Would definitely come back here.

Stone walls and visiting during winter requires heating. We had to make sure the heater was working as sometimes it would stop. Around 21 degrees maximum.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Albergo Diffuso Sotto le Cummerse in a truly remarkable location – right in the heart of the historical city center. The hotel is nestled in the historical city center, and every step outside felt like a journey through time. The attention to detail in the interior design contributed to the overall sense of luxury, making me feel truly special during my stay. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast offered by the hotel. What truly sets this establishment apart, however, is the excellent service provided by the staff.

Great choice for Locorotondo. Our apartment was light filled, spacious for a studio and very comfortable.The balcony was an added bonus. Strong wifi connection. It was our first time sleeping on a round bed. The unit was clean and well organized. The unit's kitchenette was very basic but we appreciated having a refrigerator in our room. The breakfast offered variety with amazing made to order coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Located in the heart of the historical section.

I can't say enough about this property: ideally located, beautifully decorated, housekeeping service, bathrobes!!, and a quiet street among the lovely winding streets of Locorotundo. The breakfast buffet provided is over the top!! just steps down the street with wonderful coffee and many choices to start your day right. It was a one-of-a-kind stay. We stayed in the Fontana apartment for two nights and will return for a longer stay. Locorotundo is a great, charming base from which to visit surrounding towns and vineyards, also the free public parking was about 60 meters from our door BUT NOT IN VIEW. Our view was of the valley below the vineyard that is below the city wall where we shared a bottle of wine each evening among the vines.

Great price point for a couple who wishes for a weekend getaway. There is a daybed for a third guest or children but this property may be a bit small for family travelers. There are larger properties Albergo Diffuso Sotto le Cummerse has on the same street.

Location was fantastic easy walk around historical centre. Comfortable beds good sized bedroom. Facilities included a small kitchen area with table and chairs for eating. Air conditioning was much appreciated in the warm weather. Great shower, with bath and some small toiletries provided. Fabulous terrace with comfortable couch and chairs to enjoy nibbles and a glass of wine. Some views to the Valle d’Itria. Individual service from the manager with a little history as he walked us to the apartment. Excellent breakfast included meat, bread, cereal, pastries just to mention a few! Special mention to the waitress in the breakfast room who remembered our coffee orders and had them ready just after we sat down. Availability’s of free parking in a large car park across the road from the old town. Loved the decor!

Steps! Lots of steps and hills to negotiate, be prepared if you have knee, hip problems. Whilst we were able to negotiate our wheeled suitcases on the streets it was still hard work getting them up the steps of the apartment. ( we are aged 62, 65 and 72). The small couch in the kitchen wasn’t the most comfortable. Wifi signal wasn’t very strong.

Roberto was there to greet us at reception when we arrived. He walked us to our apartment and showed us where the breakfast would be in the morning. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices, the food was delicious and the staff were welcoming. The apartment was up some steep stairs so if you have mobility issues it would be a problem. But nonetheless the apartment was lovely. The bathroom had a fairly large vanity and a mirror that pulled out. This was great for applying makeup. The kitchen had a couch. It was nice to have an area to sit after a long day out. It also had a balcony overlooking a playing field. It was in the centre of the old town and just a few steps to great restaurants. It had free parking at a lot nearby and we never had any problems getting in after day trips. Roberto provided incredible service and offered great suggestions on things to do in the area and was at reception in the morning and evening to answer any questions you might have. Roberto and this property exceeded our expectations. An unexpected bonus was the daily cleaning. We would highly recommend

The playing field across the street was lit up at night so people were playing sports late into the evening, one night until 1:30 am. We closed the patio doors and ran the air conditioner which muffled most of the noise and clapping.

Locorotondo .. possibly one of the nicest villages I have spent time in and the property just added to it . Wonderful experience . The property had mosh everything that is needed for a stay in a unique location . We had two double rooms , both with tv , a kitchen , and shower facilities . Right outside the door we had the shirt stroll to the centre on top of the full and the square where you can sit to watch the sun go down .. a truly traditional stay in a great place , excellent breakfast and service from all the staff .
