super friendly host, very hospitable. and xiaohua is so cute. attentive staff. breakfast was nice. can see stars at the terrace if skies are clear. near green green grass land! host will give advice on where to go and what to do. heater blanket was a life-saver! very value for money :)
sound insulation could be better - could hear people speaking right outside our door, and hear our neighbours spitting phlegm in their toilet. water heater takes a bit of time to warm up.

If you wish to stay near Cingjing Farm, this homestay is the nearest you can get. It's only 5mins walk away and the bus stop is just outside Cingjing Farm. There is a Nantou bus that runs in the area but is not very frequent. In the afternoon, it's almost 2h apart. When we arrived we were a little disappointed because the reception was a little rundown and the location was a distance from the main road, but the rooms and terrace really made up for it. Rooms were very clean, cosy and spacious; and we saw the most beautiful sunset as the area was unblocked. At night, we could star gaze on the terrace! Lovely experience. We had a welcoming drink and biscuits. The owners were welcoming and friendly and helped us as to how to get around the area as we didn't drive. However, they only accept cash. No credit card. We ordered dinner separately. We had hotpot 1 night and dishes the 2nd night. Cost us about 1000NT for 4 persons per night cos the nearest restaurant is at least 500m uphill. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Nothing really except that you need to walk for about 4 to 5 mins up a sloping unpaved road to reach the homestay. Not a good idea with luggage in tow. Most people reach there via a car.

The location is super near the entrance for Qingjing Farm. Is just literally beside, but due to the fencing, you still have to de route and walk like a good 10-12 mins from the stay to the farm. The provide a good healthy breakfast and for dinner, you have the option to eat in their small restaurant and can choose between steamboat (individual pot) or they some local dishes determine by number of pax. If not, you have to walk/drive out to get your meal. The view is breathtaking, you have have a good look at the hills, mountain surrounding Qingjing, the morning fog, greens, trees. Is a good experience from those traditional hotel.
The location, but i cannot be choosy, cause Qingjing is a place where is not city and is more like a country side area. So before you go there, please prepare all your tibits snacks, drinks beforehand, if not you need to walk out (2km) out to the next nearest 7-11.

Location is excellent for those intend to visit Qingjing Farm, just 200 m walk to the north entrance. Quite a old building but well maintained. Spacious room, but we spent more time at the balcony to enjoy cool wind. Owner Mr Lin planned very well for our itinerary for our 2 days 1 night stay. Breakfast was excellent, love the porridge with so many delicious dishes. Fried noodles was tasty too. We have our steamboat dinner here, NT$250 per set, we ordered 3 sets for 4 of us, the tomato soup was excellent, we enjoyed the steamboat dinner very much in the cool night.
Our room window cannot open to allow cool air in, our room quite stuffy though one stand fan was provided.

Location is really so convenient right next to QingJing Farm. Very easy to find from the busstop, just take Nantou bus up. Owner gave a welcome tea and recommended how to sightsee with the given time of the day. Morning sunrise tour organised with bnb, it was awesome but the walk out in the dark was pretty scary. need a torch, i used my phone. I liked the breakfast. Coffee and tea not great through. Room was spacious and sufficiently clean. But I am fine with it. Water was sufficiently quick to warm and pressure was awesome. Shampoo n Body wash provided. Bed was super comfy with heating blanket. I loved it. View was minimal in my room. View at dining area was great when it wasn't cloudy. It was sufficient for a one night stay. I enjoyed the swing on the terrace :)
Toilet had cute stickers to cover up flaws I think. Toilet bowl choked for me though but they cleared it up in the morning for me. I wished the dinner was more tasty (this was additional charge of NTD$250) could be my choice of hot pot soup base that made it meh. But food portion was generous.

Just the service of the host warranted a 10/10 rating for this establishment. He was so enthusiastic and passionate in assisting me to plan my 3 days trip in Cingjing - his recommended guided tour to Mount Hehuan became the highlight of my trip. He was extremely welcoming and polite, and even treated me to a pot of tea when I got there. Throughout my stay, I saw that he was always affording the best of courtesy and hospitality to all the guests. Onto the B&B itself. The room was huge, clean and the fact that it was a B&B, added a further touch of homey-ness to it. Breakfast was good - toasted bread with bacon/minced meat patty, a side of salad, boiled egg and choice of refreshment. The bed with electrically heated duvet laid over the mattress was a nice touch. Made the bed warm and comfy. Located next door to the Cingjing Grassland and Sky Walk meant easy and quick access to most attractions in Cingjing.
Nothing really. The only qualm is the hot water in the shower, you would need to turn the shower on for a good 2 minutes before the water turns hot. And the room that I stayed in had a sort of corridor outside the window which was seemingly accessible through a door from the outdoor deck. Might be a privacy issue for some, but not really an issue for a dude like me

The host was very nice and remained in communication for late-night check-in (due to my medical emergency). The host was very understanding and showed us our facilities and rooms as soon as we arrived. The host is also very well informed of the area and gave us critical information for our next day at the Taroko National Park. They gave me a very short summary of what attractions are available at Renai; also noting what is the time at which the boom gate will allow vehicles to pass for the last time a Taroko. Our beds were pre-warmed with an electrical blanket, with tea prepared in our room - the service was exceptional for a B&B. Our bed was extremely comfortable, and the room we stayed was very spacious. I wished I could have arrived earlier to enjoy all the amenities the property has to offer. The complimentary breakfast was lovely. It was extremely enjoyable especially when sitting outside in the open space balcony outdoor. The WiFi of the property was also excellent. Parking is also available.
The signage and the road to the property were a little mysterious especially when I checked in at around 10:30 PM. It would have been helpful to provide additional signage for non-Chinese speakers "Bokelai" on the narrow roads. If possible, perhaps the owner can also give a GPS coordinate for future customers.

Super convenience location to the QingJing farm. It just next to the farm entrance. Breakfast is nice with hot coffee. Room size super big and comfort with great view. Mr Lin welcome us with great information to move around. He also give advise ensure us to watch horse and sheep show .
Hotel dinner is yummy cook by lady. But if have more choices of cooking style for the meat set is better. For other dinner choices is to move down the hill (almost way down half the mountain!) to food stall (starbuck, steak place) that is pretty too far to walk . Moreover is dangerous to walk on the road with very little road space to walk.

Friendly owner n staff. Location next to sheep farm n bus stop. Yes it’s next to the farm but it’s located inside a side road which is quite steep. not advisable if you have bulky luggages. Approx 10 min walk up/down hill. Another plus point is hotel provides heated blankets. very useful as it got really cold at night.
No elevator. Have to walk up 2 flights of stairs. Luckily I have only cabin bag. Otherwise…after heavy rainfall night before the stairs were wet. need to mind steps when checking out. there r no eateries around too. have to order dinner w owner.

Lovely rooms. Very clean. Despite having no central heating in winter, the bed was heated and was quite comfortable. No air-conditioning during summer but a fan is provided. Breakfast is brought to our rooms and is sufficient. A good and pleasant stay with a stunning view of rolling mountains and sunset.
You have to walk up a slope along a unpaved narrow road for 5 mins before reaching the minsu. Not a good idea after sunset or with luggage.
