The hotel’s central location near the Peace Memorial is undoubtedly one of its highlights. It made exploring the city convenient and added a layer of historical significance to the visit. Additionally, having Lawson, Family Mart, and 7-Eleven in the neighborhood was incredibly handy for quick snacks and essentials. The room itself was a pleasant surprise. It was spacious and well-furnished, with a proper desk, a chair, and even a mini sofa, making it comfortable for both work and relaxation. The bathroom was equally roomy, which added to the overall comfort. The staff also deserve special mention for their friendliness and willingness to assist, which enhanced the overall experience.

The only drawback was the limited number of pillows provided—just two. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected at least an option for additional pillows to ensure a better night's rest.

The rooms were relatively small but clean. Very bare-bones decor - you can tell this is a business hotel vs. a touristy hotel, which is why the cost is better. Loved the Family Mart in the lobby, and the hotel is located about a 3 min walk from the local streetcar station, which is what we ended up using as our primary mode of transport around Hiroshima. There are also 4 combo washer/dryer machines to use in the building - it was 500 yen per wash & dry cycle per load, and the machines automatically added their own laundry detergent. You also put in a 4 digit pin when you started the load so it would remain locked until you came back and put the pin in to unlock it. Also, in the lobby you can use the check in machines to exchange your coins for bills which came in extremely handy for us.

The room was medium-sized for Japan, and the bathroom was one of the smallest we had during our trip, but it was very clean.

Perfectly located with tram and bus stops outside and only a short walk to the peace park and atomic bomb dome. The staff were helpful pre-arrival and throughout my stay; the requested bedding was in place in the room on arrival and a proper secure storage of luggage post checkout was available and worked well. This and the free loan umbrellas allowed maximum use of time in Hiroshima. The breakfast board showing when people were going for breakfast was a useful innovation to show the actual likely peak demand. Breakfast had just three choices (Japan/US/mixed) but was delivered swiftly and was good quality.

The room was smaller than ideal and so there was no bedside table - which I use a lot - and limited space to unpack/place a suitcase. There was great tasting filter coffee in the room in filter bags with cute fold out hooks for the side of the cup, but the cups were too small so the bags completely filled them and the mesh on the bags was so fine that it was difficult to poor hot water into the cup or onto/through the bag without it rolling/bouncing off onto the table.

The staff was very professional and check in was easy despite my only being able to speak english. They were very accomodating and held our luggage for a few hours before check in. It is an easy 10-15 minute walk from everything. The price was phenomenal. I would definitely stay here again.

Like any hotel, the walls could use a deep clean, quite a few scuffs and some questional marks, but by no means did the room feel dirty, just a tiny bit old.

The Hotel was good. Easy to get to by Tram. Tram stop very close. 7/11 just across the road. Easy walk to the Peace Park and the A Dome. The room was comfortable and a good size. Was able to open up the window for fresh air. Offered luggage storage for the day while we went sight-seeing during the day. Came back to collect before moving on to Osaka.

Although not close to the JR railway station, this hotel is within easy walking distance of a tram network and the Peace Park / Memorial Museum. The hotel staff helped to retrieve left behind items from a taxi that we had arrived in.

Not the hotel's problem, but a symptom of not being near a railway station - on the day of departure taxis were all very busy and we had to manage our luggage to the railway station via bus. Another option may have been a luggage forwarding service, but not sure if there was one available at short notice.

i stayed in several hotels during my round trip in japan and i have to admit that i don't remember the room completely. in fact, this speaks more for the hotel than against it, as i mostly remember the negative things that annoyed me. the daiwa roynet is one of the classic business hotels that in my eyes offer the best value for money in japan. the location was perfect, the streetcar stops right in front of the hotel and the atomic bomb dome is within walking distance. checkin is semi-automatic, as i didn't understand it, a nice lady from the reception assisted me. as with all other reviews i have written about japan, the staff here were sweet as sugar. there is a very good ramen restaurant across the street that only have two dishes on the menu, they know what they do > perfect. i would also return to daiwa roynet without hesitation.

Location is great, tram station is 100meter from the hotel. Around 600-800meters to the Atomic Bomb Dome and the surroundings. Same as the ferry to Miyajima. Combini at the corner was also convenient. They offer luggage forwarding to our next hotel and I find this really handy going to Osaka. Front desk and personeels are excellent and helpful.

Only one pillow per client was provided. I didn’t ask if another pillow could be provided.

The front reception staff were helpful, friendly, and prompt. I enjoyed the one restaurant recommendation that a staff provided for seafood. The room was spacious, clean and quiet.

The laundry facility with a washer and dryer in one did not dry my clothes. I had winter clothes, so the dryer did not successfully dry my cotton clothes. A separate washer and dryer may be a better option for the patrons. Thank you.

Once we figured out where to catch the trolley car at Hiroshima Eki, and what line to use, it was smooth sailing getting to the hotel. The trolley car stop was a mere two minute walk from the hotel! The hotel was also a short 10 minute walk to the Peace Park, which made it really convenient. The location of the hotel was great! All else was just fine as well and I would highly recommend staying here!
