1. The location was amazing. A few steps to the picturesque lively port yet on the quiet street. LOTS of restaurants and taverns around. 2. The free parking was very convenient. We had a rental car and didn't have to worry where to park. 3. The room. We had Room A2. It was a comfortable suite that included a huge bedroom with king size bed and three large windows facing the mountains in the distance; very spacious bathroom and sitting area with a kitchenette. 4. The owners were very friendly and attentive.

The hotel doesn't offer laundry facilities but we used laundromat only a couple minutes away that offers same day service.

Everything was great. Katerina in particular is a gem and a treasure to the owner of the property who was also very warm and welcoming. Katerina went above and beyond to ensure our visit to Crete was perfect and it was. Katerina and Giannis hospitality were exceptional. The property is centrally located near town square but far enough away from the usual commotion of tourists. The apartment was large and newly renovated with a useful kitchenette. The shower was excellent. It was clean and well kept during our stay. Did I mention how wonderful Katerina is?

The location of the suites is fantastic. It is in quiet street, yet just around the corner from the old city and harbor. The room is very spacious, with large and comfortable bed, I liked the design of the bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need (if needed). There is parking near the hotel, which is fantastic when you are in the middle of old city. (10 Euro per day) Our special thank you goes to Katerina - the exceptional receptionist, who literally helped us with planning our stay in Chania, providing places to visit, restaurants to eat dinner and dessert, beaches to swim, etc. She is extremely kind, nice and helpful, the dream of each traveler, especially since the internet information about Crete was very poor. Thank you, Katerina, from the bottom of our heart! We have enjoyed our stay thanks to you!

If you use tons of water taking a shower, it might leak all over bathroom... (they said they will take care of it) It is nothing comparing to all pluses of the place.

The room was really nice! A lovely and new interior, comfortable bed, conditioner worked properly. Room service was really good! The location was wonderful! Sightseeings, restaurants, cafes, shops - everything was really close. Especially, want to mention our host Katerina. She is incredible! Katerina was super friendly and attentive! She helped plan our activities, booked a trip to Samaria gorge for us, gave us recommendations about places to visit and restaurants. All of these elevated our experience for sure! I want to thank Katerina one more time!

Only two minor things: 1. There was no view from the apartment, because the hotel is surrounded by other buildings. 2. The parking cost 10 euros per day and was quite busy. But it was worth it, because there were no available parking spots nearby.

The location was great. Directly at the harbour. Own car park for a small daily fee available. The best thing about the whole stay was the hostess "Katerina". She made our stay more enjoyable and sweetened every day. She was always available and helped us every day to see the best of Crete with her insider tips. Even on the day of departure, we sat comfortably with her and talked about everything under the sun, rarely have we met such a great person. Lithinon is lucky to have such a wonderful employee. Katerina, also speaks fully german, which is a great "yellow from the egg" :D for our german people. At this point, once again, best wishes to Katerina from Siwan & Siluan.

The place was amazing. The location is just unbeatable if you are with a car (although even if you do not have one it is still perfect). The room was more than big and comfortable enough even for a longer stay( we were there for 11 great days). The old harbor is literally meters away but the street is small and very quiet so you do not hear the crowds and can sleep with an open window (if you are not american and do not like sleeping under a working aircon :)) The possibility to park right in front of the building was the biggest reason we chose the place but it turned out much better than we expected. Last but in no means least we have to give a BIG shout out to the host - Katerina. She is amazing and will make sure you are comfortable and will more than happily give you advice on restaurants, beaches and very importantly what is the wind situation for any given day.

The only negative thing is that eventually you would have to leave :(

Katerina was amazing! She is the best. She made us feel at home from the very beginning. She even helped us before we arrived with the car rental. She helped us make daily plans, checking the wind at every beach, everyday. She was so caring. She knew all the good restaurants. She is a very special person and we are lucky to know her. Thank you, Katerina, for making our visit a wonderful one. Our room was big, very well decorated and comfortable. Bathroom's size was very good. The daily cleaning was very good. Having a park spot is an incredible benefit. The location is perfect.

Katerina is an exceptional host ! From the time we enquired about Lithinon suites till the end of our stay, Katerina was always available and willing to help at any time of the day. Katerina offered advice on places to eat and visit in Crete, car hire and arranged a transfer for us from the port. Lithinon suites is located right at the heart of Chania, easy to walk to restaurants, bars and local shops. The rooms are clean, spacious and renovated. Car parking is available on site, which is quite rare for Chania. Thanks to Yianni for his help on check in and throughout the stay. Huge thanks to Katerina for all her hospitality, generosity and caring nature. You did everything to ensure we had a memorable holiday!
