The area was very quiet. The parking spot is an excellent thing especially for Whitby. Everything we needed was already in the cottage for cooking , even a bottle of milk in the fridge. Easy to get down to the harbour. A bit harder to get back up though lol. Hosts replied to any queries. Getting in was easy as we had a code for a box in advance of the 3pm check in time. Lots of shops for bread, milk etc near by. Plenty pubs near. Grasby bar excellent food and fills you up. I put postcode into google maps and it took me straight there. Be warnes silver street is a very small narrow turn to the left. As is hunter street.

Great location and ideal parking space which you can see from the apartment. The road down to the apartment is narrow and the parking space quite tight to turn into if other cars are parked either side however it was fine for my car (corsa), just worth bearing in mind if you have a larger car. The views from the apartment are stunning and the apartment was spotless when we arrived, towels were provided. Beds were very comfy and lovely lounge space to relax in after a day exploring Whitby.

Great location, lovely little apartment. Everything was clean. Kitchen is well equipped. Comfortable beds. We had a great overall stay. Great view over the harbour and abbey from the bedroom windows. It's a nice short walk down the hill to the west side of the bridge, it's in a great spot. We unfortunately had a bit of trouble with noise from the neighbouring apartments but this isn't any fault of Jane the owner who was quick to help and apologetic on their behalf (even though the other apartment isn't owned by her). This sounded like it was a one-off, and we may have been unlucky with the holidaying neighbours on that occasion. This all said we were very happy with our stay and would recommend the place.

This property lived up to all the positive reviews. The kitchen was extremely well appointed with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc and every kind of utensil. The decor was very pleasing and everything was extremely clean. We were so pleased to realise we could see the abbey from both bedrooms. The instructions from the host were clear and helpful, the directions to the property were much appreciated and ensured we found it easily. It was in a good location, near enough to the centre but far enough to ensure peace and quiet. Free parking was a bonus as previous stays in Whitby were on paid car parks which was an additional expense. Four adults were in our party and all of us were very pleased with the accommodation. We will definitely be returning to this property.

One of the houses near by had a lot of different people coming and going and they were smoking illicit substances which wasn’t very comforting Would have been great if there were instructions to use the oven as well as some takeaway menus

Super clean, great spacious apartment we have now stayed in the same apartment two years in a row. Loved both holidays, everything in the kitchen you could possibly need is there, dishwasher, washing machine and maiden for drying.... I could go on but ... you want for nothing 2 adults 2 teenagers perfect! Views are to die for of the Abbey

Central, car parking space, view of the abbey from bedrooms, pint of milk in fridge and tea coffee sugar. Nice soft towels. Very clean (spotless). Easy to open beautiful sash windows and blinds.

Could occasionally hear people moving about above us in adjacent apartments and plumbing noises from above which disturbed sleep on our first night. No dishwasher tablets provided/available.

We liked everything. If a family of four or two adult couples were using the facilities, you might want to think about a few more plates, bowls, and glasses.

Beautiful property with a parking space - vital in Whitby! Owners were amazing! Very helpful and answered questions quickly. The rooms were spacious and well decorated and the beds were very comfortable.

Location was great with views of the castle from the bedrooms. Was great having car parking as seemed very little around the area.

Could hear the people in the property next door very easily.
