This Hotel is pure perfection. From check in to check out it was a wonderful experience, and we do not believe it can get any better than this. Staff is highly competent, the rooms and the whole building are just stunningly beautiful, and if you want to see more, explore the outside... there is so much to see. We especially liked the afternoon tea, where you could sit at the rooftop bar and completely unwind. But we also enjoyed the food and drinks in the restaurant, the view from our balcony, the spa and gym...We already dream of coming back here one day!

The Plataran Borobudur is perfect the way it is. If we have a suggestion, it is nothing more than that: We felt breakfast was not 100% up to the standard of the rest of the hotel, not in terms of quality or quantity, those were great. But the atmosphere is very busy, with not much space and people walking around your table to get to the buffet all the time. Putting the foodstalls literally around the tables makes it impossible to find a quiet table, even outside. We were very happy when the - again most helpful and professional - staff brought us a table from the pool, so we could sit in the pool are. Again: High standard of solving a tiny problem. :-)

Pleasant room, comfortable bathroom, nice view on the swimming pool and vegetation. The welcome drink and massage. The support of the staff to schedule activities. We really enjoyed the time making Jamu with our lovely teacher. The strong massages were appreciated. We enjoyed dinner at the lounge terrace. And we completely loved the bike tout of surroundings on the monday morning: a great memory as the Jamu lesson. We saw beautiful fields, crossed lively villages with kids in the school courts and drank coconut water along the way.

Amazing hotel with a top service level and an heavenly rice field view. Very friendly helpful geniune staff! Wow! The Steak and the Lava CAKE was just TOP! I asked to grill my meat ‘saignant’/medium rare & it was just perfect! Thank you for the great experience! Well deserved 5/5! The breakfast was extended and delicious. The tea break was very well organised. Amazing rooms as well. We also liked the authenticity of the Hotel. Very local support and local feeling.

The service from the staff was impeccable from the moment we walked into the lobby. They were warm and always attentive. We ordered room service and ate at the restaurant and the food was always delicious! The afternoon tea was a nice treat with a beautiful view of the sunset. We loved that there was a water machine in our room in addition to bottled water. Everything was perfect.

All staffs are very responsive to your needs and friendly, - Hotel design is art déco and full of interesting details with view to serene paddy field, - If you are staying for the Borobudur Marathon, they provide free shuttle vv - The masseurs at the spa know their stuffs. Recommended experience - Minibar is inclusive of the room charge and refillable

- The floor is not carpeted and though beautifully tiled, the noise of luggages, carts and even people walking in the hallway can be noisily heard, - The food is a mix of hit and miss. Ayam hutan kota (signature dish) is not apetizing but the daun pepaya with teri is good. The iga kecombrang is just so so and overall all food are pricey for the quality - Buffet can be better. For 250k++, there should be more options and/or better quality

Beautiful room and furniture. The bed is large and comfortable, the bathroom clean. Fresh fruits and small bites provided in the room with a personalized message. The pool is good, tea time was appreciated near the pool. We also had a massage at the hôtel spa, which was great. The setting is beautiful and proximity to Borobudur center was appreciated. Daily free shuttle to the temple is provided. Hôtel restaurants were really good, for a meal or a drink. All the staff is top-notch.

We loved the serenity of the location. The staff were helpful and very hospitable. Breakfast is good and also the afternoon teas.

There should be more curated free activities for guests like village cultural walks, daily sunrise yoga or meditation . I booked for a yoga class and found out that it was not daily.

Great location. Excellent hospitality by the staff. The buffet breakfast spread was quite lavish and had a variety of choices. The staff at both the restaurants were very helpful. They even created a customised vegetarian dish for one of our family member. The walk thru the Rice fields and neighbouring village was superb.

A better selection of tea bags in the room would have been helpful.

Super peaceful area with beautiful views. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and enough choice. The pool area is not super big but enough for us to chill. Room was very comfortable.

The hallway of the hotel to the room was noisy so you would hear all that was happening in the hallway.

Everything! The room was spacious, clean , great amenities, staffs are professional, friendly, accomodating and helpful For me the highlight was the breakfast : venue was nice, menus were great and taste wise everything were delicious and superb

The gym was very small and stuffy with very minimalist equipment And in the website photos the landscape looks spacious while in reality they are quite small And they charge Rp 50.000 for the use of their bicycles which I found a little ridiculous for such 5 stars hotel, usually bicycles are included in hotel's facilities for their guests
