Run by a family, Bobosh hotel is a gem of a little hotel. Cozy, beautifully decorated rooms with such local color and details. Beds were comfortable and had smart tv. WiFi worked wonderfully. Water pressure was great and while bathroom is a bit tight, it also has a heater that makes the winter so bearable. There’s a beautiful roof deck for fresh air and a small courtyard. And the breakfast was fresh, with local breads and yummy pastries. Excellent coffee and made to order omelettes. They were also kind enough to let me stay a few extra hours as my flight was leaving at 9pm. Location is just a stone throw away from the main sites. A very safe and short walk to the Divan Bhegi, a lovely square that’s part of the pedestrian walks that lead you to the main Mosques and sites. Shopping and restaurants abound all over the place. Overall, it’s an excellent hotel to stay in and for the price, truly excellent value. The friendliness and the heart that goes into the service is the extra that makes it truly wonderful.

My stay at the hotel was really pleasant. Charming, comfortable, clean, family-run hotel with an excellent breakfast. Unbeatable location, just a few metres from the historic centre. However, the best thing about the hotel has been the magnificent service provided by the staff and especially by the owner. The day after my arrival I had a fall, I broke my toe and he took me in his own car to the public hospital, where I was treated quickly and efficiently. I am indebted to the family.

The location was good, the room (not the bathroom) was a good size and breakfast had a good choice. The roof terrace was excellent!

It was difficult to find at first, the shower was far too small and badly designed. The bed was a little firm for our taste.

This hotel was everything what we needed! The location was excellent, very clean and beautiful room. We had breakfast every day which is tasty, fresh and unique! The stuff was very kind and helpful especially when we needed help. The view from the rooftop/terrace was fabulous, as the hotel is located in the heart of ancient Bukhara. Will definitely come back again!

I had a great Silk Road experience at Bobosh hotel – a traditional family hotel with a stylish oriental decoration – located in the heart of Bukhara Old town. My room was spacious, with great décor and a comfortable bed. The roof top terrasse offered a stunning view over the city at night. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of delicacies – and home-made traditional food! The owners and the staff were very attentive. I would like to send my special thanks to the receptionist Asilbek who ensured that I felt comfortable during my stay and who also was a great tour guide of the summer residence of the Emir. I will definitely go back.

Very helpful and friendly staff, we enjoyed how the room was decorated and the size of the room. The bed was comfy and aircon worked very well. The roof terrace was a nice place to relax in the evenings and watch the sunset. The location is good for exploring the city too.

The rooms we had shared an internal courtyard so if other travellers were selfish in the mornings and decided to chat when leaving it meant that they could be heard and maybe disturb sleep. It might help if staff just remind guests to be quiet in the night - early morning when in the courtyard area, but this is more the fault of other travellers who don't know how to be courteous in a hotel.

Beautiful little family run hotel. Perfect location. Beautifully decorated rooms and the nicest, friendliest staff you could ask for.

Great location and roof top terrace was definitely a bonus. The staff were so lovely, friendly, helpful and were keen to share information about their culture and ask questions about our culture - which we loved. They definitely made our stay a memorable one. Special thanks to Husniddin and Amir for making are stay extra special. Although I have written something negative in the dislikes, this was very minor and I would recommend this hotel.

The rooms were a bit dark as they were onto a courtyard that could get noisy when people were leaving / dragging their bags / chatting etc, however this is up to the guest to be more courteous and appreciate other guest have their windows open.
