The location of the hotel was great for sightseeing and exploring the city. The lounge and check in area on the basement level was fantastic. Snacks to choose from which was fantastic, drinks to help yourself to and lots of lounging area with games, movies etc. This is great when you are travelling for a while and don't just want to sit in your room to relax. While we are not travelling with kids we saw lots of families using this area and they seemed to enjoy it alot. The room was a good size, we got upgraded to a room with two beds. I didn't enjoy the bathroom layout however. But the beds were comfortable, the decor of the hotel is interesting and fun. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The bathroom layout is not pleasant in the room we stayed in. The toilet is one cubicle and the shower another and then the sink is in the bedroom itself. I don't personally like this layout.

Location was Fantastic! the hotel was a short walk to both Ximen Station and Taipei Main Station so it was extremely convenient to travel from the airport as well as to other places in Taiwan. Located close to the Ximending Night Market which is open till late, we were spoilt for choice with food options. For the hotel, the staff was really friendly and allowed us to keep our luggage at the hotel as we arrived in Taiwan early, hotel lobby also provided snacks like cup noodles, buns, sandwiches and snacks. They even had washing machine for free to use in the basement Overall a good place to stay! Would definitely stay here again whenever I’m in Taipei.

Nothing I didn’t like..

Great location, within 5mins walk to ximending street, room have everything I need, luggage storage available before check in and after check out time, reception have have huge rest area for the guests, with lots of snacks, drinks and even cup noodles, you can play games and watch movies as well. Due to short stay in TW I ordered something online and hotel helped to receive the parcel and collect upon check in. Overall very pleasant stay.

The only things is the room is little bit small to fully open 29' luggage, but it's okay since I am solo traveller and reasonable for its price.

Great location, few minutes away from trains, bus stops, and Ximending. The staff were hospitable and were keen to help out when I asked about the area. The basement is a common area where you can hang out and leave your luggage. There's activities to do to entertain you, free snacks and refreshments, and space for lounging. Bathroom was clean and well-equipped. Showers were strong. I love my showers really hot, and this place was perfect for it.

The room was a bit small for how much it was.. but for the location and everything else, I can look past it. Their wifi could be better.. was a bit spotty at the basement when I needed to work for a few mins.

My family liked the following: 1. The game room they have available on the basement since we were travelling with children they were kept entertained lol 2. They offered free food! We ate our breakfast there always xD pretty yummy and healthy for free food. their milk tea is good, too! 3. Location: very near Ximending Night Market! Although we had to cross the major street its actually nice since it isnt noisy and crowded compared to staying within the night market. The train station is also nearby so those who would be using the public transpo would find it convenient. There are also 2 convenient stores nearby 4. Friendly staff! would def come back here!

1. Kinda pricey but I guess that its because the hotel is newly built. but it's worth it since we enjoyed our stay there 2. We had a hard time with one of the rooms. The triple that we booked had separate bath and toilet and the sink was seen inside the room! i guess it served as a vanity area but my grandma had a hard time eating since the countertop of the sink was higher compared to an actual vanity table. although the couples room was very nice! my mother and I enjoyed it.

I love those sandwiches they provided us every morning. Also we can enjoy drinks at the lobby all day all night.

The only thing I want complain is about noisy above the ceiling inside my room. I couldn’t sleep well because of the noise of the guest from upper floor using the shower room. The sound of the running water kept annoying me. I want the hotel fix this problem. Without this problem, everything is absolutely nice.

Great location, nearby 7 eleven and breakfast shops. Also near many bus stops. Staff is great, helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage until end of day Room is clean and well kept, need to inform staff in advance if need cleaning. Free snacks, drinks, sandwiches(in the morning);and instant noodles provided in common area There was always staff in the reception.

Room is definitely on the small side, not much space for luggage. The hotel was a little difficult to find at first, had to walk around to find it.

This accomodation is highly recommended. It’s near the Ximending area, the staffs were very accomodating.The facilities are superb, you got free snacks in their basement, arcade games,childrens playroom and laundry area all for free. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. I’ll book Roaders again and again on my next Taiwan trip.Good value for money! Thank you Roaders Hotel, me and my family had a wonderful stay💕

Very convenient location .

I booked one night in advance for my housekeeping to be done but was shocked that the staff has forgotten about my reservation. I was given 2 plastic bags and some towels when I inquired with the staff. I was told to change the trash bag myself and put the used towels and trash outside the room and he will ask someone to collect. I waited and waited for someone to clear it until the cleaning lady cleaned it the next day.

We arrived before check-in hour, so we left our luggage at baggage area, when we came back at night, the staff already helped putting our luggage in hotel room. The room was clean and has good sense of design, bed was comfy too. There were free snacks and cup noodles in lobby area which I haven't seen other hotels giving it for free before. There is a bus stop in 3 mins walking distance that can reach jiufen in 1 hour, saved us lots of traveling time.

Some might find it a little bit pricey
