the check in was super fast and the lady was very friendly. I requested first floor and they did indeed give me the first floor. They have a pet fee of 20 a day which is acceptable. There is more cleaning then an average room. The room was very clean. The beds comfortable and pillows too. the location is very good close to everything and lots of parking. the only thing I think that they should look into is when the TV Is on in the other room the connecting door you can hear it loud. Maybe some type of sound proofing through connecting doors if a family is not sharing.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. The air conditioning worked really well and having a fridge and microwave in the room was very convenient. It's also located a 2 minute walk to the beach and sunset park. Two thumbs up!

I think the hotel does the best job that they can for the space they have, but the breakfast area is very small and feels very cramped. They have "to go" boxes and trays, so we just took our breakfast back to our room which was fine. The coffee is very weak, which we didn't enjoy, but breakfast is not why we chose this hotel and it was a very minor thing compared to the value for money of our stay.

Laminate floor in room, comfortable bedding, close proximity to the outside door for taking my dog in and out. Mat inside the room for wet shoes and boots.

It had a shared door and when traveling with a dog that’s a challenge. I could hear the person next door yelling at the football game on tv and I had to keep my dog from barking as per the rules. An unfair situation to be placed in. Also the tv in the room had a very low tv volume so I couldn’t watch tv. Provide closed captioning instructions for the remote if you are going to limit the tv volume. Issue with running toilet was reported to staff on checkout.

It was one of the best over-night stay values I have had. The queen bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room was spacious, had a fridge, was very clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and the hot breakfast was very good with a very nice variety. My wife forgot her bracelets on the bed which were then covered up so I did not see them when I did the final scan of the room. Within half an hour of leaving the hotel, I received a call from the front desk saying that the bracelets had been found. We were still in town so I was able to retrieve them right away. We would have no qualms about staying here again. Highly recommended.

This is an older building but it was generally well-maintained. The location on Lakeshore was convenient for us. Beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious. We loved that there was no carpet!

The table beside the TV was not clean in one spot. We always bring disinfectant with us and wiped down surfaces that we touch. Bathtub is old with peeling anti-slip pads on the bottom of the tub. Bathroom fan did not work.

We have been staying here everything we come to North Bay. The staff is so nice and the hotel is always so clean. As long as I keep going to North Bay this will be my hotel of choice.

If I had to say anything it would be to maybe have a bigger breakfast area for a few extra table. We managed just fine while we were there though.

Friendly staff, clean facility, appears that work continues to improve it.. Breakfast was hot and more than sufficient amounts.

Some minor upkeep/repairs needed. A wall had marks and a dent. Paint along ceiling edges was sloppy and hurried. Low number of breakfast tables and chairs in the lobby was noticed so we took our breakfast back to our room. Others will probably do the same. If work continues on this Super 8 it will be even more attractive to clientele.

This hotel may not be the most up to date and may show its age, but it makes up for it in so many ways. The staff are friendly and efficient. We stayed in a pet-friendly room, and it was clean, with no signs of previous pets (no smells or hair/fur). The beds were large and comfortable. The linens were white and clean. They do a great job cleaning the rooms and facilities. Thank you! The breakfast was typical and nothing special, but there was an assortment of options, and it was all fresh and delicious. The staff kept the breakfast station clean and stocked.

Comfortable quiet. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. There were enough towels, face cloths, the TV worked. The hot breakfast was a surprise and I was leaving early in the morning so it was good to start off with something.

I have some medical problems and there was no elevator. I had to walk up two flights of stairs to my room.
