The reception people are very friendly and helpful, although they basically do not speak English. You can leave luggage behind for an extended period of time. There are two seafood restaurants nearby, an 'Indomaret' supermarket, the Baiturrhaman Raja mosque is less than 10 minutes away, and there is a great river walk to do from the nearby bridge, going right to the estuary of the river (1h).

Of course, Banda Acerh is a rather noisy city, but it is only a place for transit on your way to Pulau Weh, the Gayo highlands, or even the west coast down to Singkil, gateway to the Banyak Islands...

Stayed on three different occasions at this place. Very good location for tourists. Sights are within walking distance, a lot of food options around. Breakfast was decent in an airconditioned room next door. I do not get the reviews about the wifi: strong signal in every room I had and fast as well. Nice ladies who run the place. Great, comfortable bed. Good shower with hot water. Western toilet (with paper). Free water refill. Little convenience store at the reception.

On one occasion I had to wait a little till the room was ready. But on another occasion I could check in way ahead of time... so nothing really. Loved it!

What a little gem of a place - very simple but so clean and super friendly people at the reception. We only had 1 night but we loved our stay in Banda Aceh and thought the city was really charming and interesting. They organised a tour with a guide for the afternoon and he was incredible - he showed us around the sights we wanted to see and took us for coffee. Highly recommended this place, it is simple.but really well looked after.

Standard problem with almost every hotel in south east Asia and that's the Aircon pointing directly at the beds but it's not really an issue.

Absolutely fantastic location. Supermarket close. Restaurants nearby. Museums are not far too. Close to port to catch the ferry to Pulau Weh island. I We needed for just a night before we moved to Pulau Weh. Room was clean, clean sheets , air conditioning, clean bathroom with hot water. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very good location. Close to big mosque town center restaurant and night food market. Good value for money. Very good to spend the night before going to pulau weh or airport. Ask the hotel to book the taxi with Ivan. He is awsome, speaks good english, and knows à lot about the city. He will brings you to good local restaurant and cheap, Will explain to you the hitory of thé aceh People, the tsunami.....without asking money...he is good guy....

all up to expectations for a basic room. clean, hot water, working aircon, water provided, beds clean and neat. good for stopover before heading to weh and coming back

got to climb some stairs to get up. be careful if have big luggages or gear. it's not terrible, just need to be prepared to carry a story or two on a staircase

Good locations in city center easy to access to night street food and shopping area. No problem to search breakfast, lunch or dinner in this area. Clean room, Aircond and wifi good coverage. The staf also are nice and willing to help.

The staff was really helpful, also with letting us know our transport was waiting and tips for ATMs that work for European cards. The location is really nice! The beds are very comfortable. We read some stuff online about not being able to sleep in the same room with your partner if you're not married, but that only applies to locals, not to tourists :)

There was a lot of dust under the bed, but otherwise it was very clean. No toilet paper. No light switch near the bed. The shower hose was leaking, so the water pressure was low.

Great central location. Close to food outlets and general shopping. Considering location the room was very quiet, a bit small but all you need for one night city stay.

Only downside was a large cockroach in the room, although he became our pet!

Good location in the town centre. Room was clean and comfortable. Good aircondition and great hot shower.

Room is a bit outdated but didn't bother us. Staff speaks very limited english but communication through web translator was fine.
