During our visit to Bangkok, we stayed in Grand China for nearly a week. Overall, I'd say it was a decent experience. The rooms were very clean and tidy, and the balcony view was a nice sight to see, especially towards the evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful and probably were one of the best aspects of this hotel. The location is great as a 5 minute walk takes you straight to the heart of the night market of Bangkok from the hotel and the food variety in the hotel is large, with several restaurants to choose from. Not a bad experience in conclusion, and I wouldn't mind staying there again.

Sadly, the rooms and bathrooms felt quite old - fashioned, and we had a mosquito infestation in our room.

Location:- The location is perfect definitely and thats the reason I chose the hotel. Room:- We booked the family room, it was spacious, they gave welcoming snacks. There was a changing/luggage room for you to place your things and mirror for you. Should have taken a 2-toilets room as there were 4 of us and its quite troublesome when it comes to a schedule which we need to rush. Breakfast:- I remembered when I was young, I came here with my parents and breakfast was really the only thing that will want to keep making me to come back to the hotel. So after 10 years, I came back to the same hotel again, but the breakfast is abit disappointing. The coffee machine wasnt working well for first 2 days, there wasn't proper hot water dispenser, the coffee/ tea cups were not the same size, (maybe just me). Umm, the breads have very limited choices, there were alot of porridges and soups options.

We were placed at 17th floor which is next to the Bar. It was abit noisy to be frank. I can see them trying to make upgrade on their rooms, but the toilet's light can go brighter, so do the entire room, as there were all small dimmed lights and total of 5 lights. I have a balcony included, but there wasnt a light outside when it comes to night, the light was broken and need to be fixed. The gardener always water plants at 9-10am and I always get "showered", maybe the gardener can water the plants gently instead of impressing the plants with "water-show." (if you get what i mean). I thought it was raining for a moment.

The hotel is like a pearl thrown in the middle of Chinatown. Inside, the staff is ultra friendly and helpful. The room we had had a beautiful view of Bangkok, which was stunning. The room itself is a bit tired and its glory days are a bit behind it. The air conditioning is noisy - you need earplugs to get a good night's sleep. Or turn it off at night, which is not always possible due to temperatures. Good breakfasts - everyone will find something for themselves. From the hotel you go straight to the largest market and the cradle of street food - Chinatown. This is a very characteristic place and it is better to be aware that it is not very hygienic here and sometimes the smell of durians mixed with sewage fumes can make you feel sick. But the experience is one of a kind. Being in Bangkok and not being here is like not being in Bangkok.

Noisy air conditioning

The hotel was beyond the my expectations. The check in was traditional. The concierge took our luggage to our room. The hotel room was very clean. We had a fantastic view from our windows. It was New Year’s Eve. There were special events for count down in the hotel that night. We chose to see the fireworks from our room. The hotel was in the premium location in China Town. My daughter has left her Apple Watch in the room after check out. The house keeper has found it for us for collection.

- The location is very good. It's on Yaowarat road which is surrounded by many many restaurants and cafes. There are also restaurants on site and skyview bar. - All facilities are working fine and everything is provided (hair dryer / towels / slippers) - Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Check-in is easy and smooth. - There is a car park on site which is convenient and also you can travel by car or by public transportation - Bed is super comfy

- The bathroom looks so old - Only one bottle of water is provided for 3 guests - Not enough plug

It was wonderful. We celebrated our daughter's birthday and everyone was super nice. I aked their help to mark the day and in the morning some of the staff came with cake, flowers, a card and a small present and sang happy birthday to her. And at dinner, the singer also sang to her. Se was super excited. So 10+ for the staff The room was big, very clean and the hotel is quite interesting. The view from the room was spectacular. We stayed at the 15 floor.

Our stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. The room offered a nice view, which was a pleasant aspect of our stay. The location of the hotel was convenient, providing easy access to local attractions and transport. Additionally, the bar located on a higher floor had a good selection of drinks and provided a decent atmosphere.

Our stay at the hotel was mixed, with some notable issues. Initially, we encountered a problem with our room allocation. Despite booking a room with a bathtub, we were initially placed in a room with just a shower. This was an unexpected and disappointing start. Additionally, upon check-in, we were charged an extra 1,000 baht without prior notice. Thankfully, we had enough cash to cover this unforeseen expense. Another downside was the loud and frequent karaoke sessions in the lower part of the hotel, which were quite disruptive. Also, the hotel's policy of closing the central entrance in the evenings was inconvenient for us. These aspects somewhat marred our overall experience at the hotel

Best location because it's right on China town markets (local market during daytime) & night street food market. This is the best place if you want to experience Thai/ Bangkok food. Other points, 1. the rooms are spacious & spotlessly clean, 2. Within walking distance are metro (350m) & pier (400m, where you can take the boats to Royal Palace, Wat Arun & Khaosan)

Nothing, just that they replace towels everyday when it's not really necessary.

Great location with everything outside the hotel. Even though the hotel is located on a busy corner intersection, my room was quiet. 7/11, heaps of restaurants and a supermarket is just 1 block away. What is really cool is that at night time, one lane on the main road is closed and is transformed into a night market, with plenty of hawkers setting shop. Great way to spend the night walking around. No nightclubs or dodgy bars nearby which is good and provides a nice and safe feeling. Breakfast was great with a descent range of western and eastern dishes. Even have bitter melon and chicken soup and chicken congee for breakfast!
