They are located near water and a mountain so it has nice views. There is parking. There’s nothing around except for a Kiwi grocery store and PSS cafe attached to the hotel. Perfect for picking up snacks. We got in late one night so ate at the PSS cafe and it was good food and very convenient. The hotel is near the airport and about 10-13 min from Alesund. We still found it a good stopping point for Trollstigen and Geiranger.

Not so much a bad point but be aware that the password for wifi is only good for 24hrs. We hadn’t thought anything until the night after the wifi just dropped and reception closed at 10pm. It’s just, in this day and age there shouldn’t be any issues with wifi. So if you’ll be there for more than 24 hrs speak to them about and maybe you’ll get a second password.

Clean Hotel in good location on Valderoya Island. Perfect breakfast with wide choice of dishes. Nice staff (eg. polish waitress Angelika). Every day room was cleaned with towels change. In this same building is supermarket Kiwi opened from 7am to 23pm

Wifi: only one access to one device per person (for my it was not enough - i had two devices and switching between devices was problematic) Coffee in lobby non drinkable - poor coffee quality

Great shower stream, good heating, perfect location for an airport hotel (around 10min drive to the airport by car), Market open til 11pm in the main building. Also has everything needed in the room (microwave, TV, fridge, watercooker. Check in and out was very easy and very friendly receptionist.

Beds were separate, so not ideal for a couple but not a big deal. Beds are also not the biggest, so if you are very tall, that might cause an 'issue'.

It's a little strange hotel. The building has a supermarket, a restaurant, a hotel, and finally a physician's office. However, it is located on an island, which is very quiet, and you can take a small drive nearby to feel the north wind and see the North Atlantic Ocean. You have a public restaurant, and they offer free coffee in a small living room on the hotel floor, which is nice. It is not a fancy hotel, it is a simple one, but works well.

The room was surprisingly comfortable with a good view. The breakfast was decent. It was quite a distance from Alesund but there was a bus right outside. Overall it was a very good value. A plus was the grocery on site.

One lady at reception was very helpful, but another one behaved as if we were wasting her time. I wish that more information about tourist sites in Alesund was available, as well as a written schedule of the bus service (instead of just bus availability for the next few hours on the wall).

Great for a one night stay close to the airport. Small compact room in the motel annex, but comfortable beds and an excellent shower. We paid extra for the breakfast which was well worth it - very comprehensive with lots of choice! Overall great value for money.

A little bit cramped and no view. But definitely good value and fine for an overnight stay.

Located 4 or 5 miles from the airport. There is a bus (private company, not related to the hotel) that stops at the hotel and goes to airport/city. But you need to buy ticket online ahead of time. Ask at checkin for website. Nothing special about the room really but that’s the amazing thing: for such a low price it was clean and just fine. I was very pleasantly surprised. Attached to hotel is restaurant with very cheap beer and (for Norway) cheap food.

The hotel is perfectly located near the main road between the airport and the city of Ålesund. A next door Kiwi grocery shop has long opening hours such that it is easy to get food and accessories. The rooms are basic, but excellent value for the money. As a bonus there is a huge car park offering free parking, and also a nearby bus stop.

Very good value for money. Father's stay with three teenagers. Room and bathroom clean. Double bed very comfortable, sofa bed quite comfortable. Medium sized room comfortable enough. In the large hall, a lot of space, sofas, armchairs and tables, a very nice place to meet more people. In the hall, there is also a vending machine with coffee and hot water. Tasty breakfast and a shop in the Kivi building. I recommend this hotel

Extremely clean, lovely polite staff. I had to checkout at 4am and everything was explained well on what to do.

My own fault, I tried to go out the ground floor exit after forgetting the instructions I'd been given... everything was low light and I had to find my way in the dark to the elevator again to use the exit.
