The warm breakfast was really nice and healthy. One staff member even walked around before the breakfast closing time to offer the guests some sweets for dessert. The room was really comfortable and cozy, good for a stay after a rainy day in Portland. The central location was pleasant, and the reception on Tuesday afternoon was really helpful. He knew the best place to buy souvenirs, and he handed me the dining guide with the recommended food trucks!

Very clean and modern. Large bathroom for a basic room which I appreciate. The breakfast in the morning is awesome. I used the gym which is well appointed. It’s a good location but I like to walk when I’m in a new city and you don’t have to go far away from the hotel before it feels a little iffy. Lots of homelessness which is sad. As a single woman I didn’t feel too comfortable out at night. To end on a good note the staff and facilities are excellent

Nice sized room and bathroom, bed was comfortable , valet parking, fun pool. The elevators required a room key to utilize, that’s a great safety feature. They provided a post card and a couple Andes Mints in the room which was a nice touch.

Hallway smelled like carpet cleaning after dogs had used it for a restroom. The flow of the breakfast room is not efficient. All heating elements should be at the very end so that the people waiting for it aren’t impeding the other people moving through the areas. Breakfast items aren’t of great quality.

All the facilities! The pool was a hit for our 5 and 8 year old, breakfast was delicious with a variety of options, the staff was friendly, efficient and helpful, the rooftop access was super cool, the location was amazing we were able to explore downtown and see what Portland has to offer within walking distance and our room was really nice, clean and super quiet. We really enjoyed our stay!

To busy enjoying it all to find any flaws

Reception gave us a quiet room (602) and we could sleep without being disturbed by other guests or traffic noise. The breakfast was traditional, eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, waffles, etc., good enough to fill the belly. The location of the hotel allowed us to take public transportation during our stay. Good heating in the room, but cold air blowing from a shaft in the hallway. Everything was clean. Good mattresses (no memory foam) and linens (no artificial fibers), very comfy.

The breakfast included bananas, oranges, and apples, but could have included more healthy options.

This is by far one of our favorite hotels we have ever stayed in. Everything was done with the highest quality of service and excellence. The breakfast (which was included) had a fantastic variety and had different offerings each day. There was plenty of seating, and the breakfast staff was fantastic. Hot food was constantly being replaced - egg fritatas, gravy and biscuits, bacon, chicken sausage, etc. - and tables were being cleaned almost immediately. There was also a team of employees, making sure that there was always somebody to attend to guests. The front staff and valet folks were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was great and had fun little details that kids and adults could enjoy, such as the waterfall and the water bucket. The gym had plenty of machines and space for guests to work out in their own space. The rooms were nice and big, with lots of bathroom counter space for toiletries. The water was hot and the water pressure was great. There were plenty of places to charge your phones and other devices. Rooms also came with a refrigerator. The little touches in the hotel, like photos from around the city adorning each room number, added an extra touch. The building was remarkably CLEAN! Everything, every location, was given great attention by the staff, who never seemed intrusive but who always seemed ready and willing to help. The location was within walking distance to so many things we wanted to do, and right across the street from a fabulous market, where you could by food from around the world and enjoy a meal on the huge, beautiful rooftop patio - possibly our favorite detail. We cannot wait to go back to Portland, and to go back specifically to this hotel! 11/10

Everything was amazing!

Staying at the Hampton Inn And Suites was a great experience! The room was spotless and very comfortable, providing a great place to relax after a day of exploring the city. The location in the Pearl District was perfect, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight, offering various delicious options to start the day. Having access to the rooftop with the city views added an exceptional bonus to the experience.

Clean, well staffed, comfortable. Breakfast satisfied our needs. The rooftop terrace was a nice place to hang out. The location was great. Amazing grocery store across the street. Close walk to great restaurants and tram stops.

The hotel was great. There is nothing to complain about on the hotels end. My only advice is avoid the train/tram at night!. The stops are only a 5 min walk from hotel, but Portland at night, along with most cities in the Pacific Northwest are very sketchy! we felt very unsafe walking back to the hotel at 11:30 pm after a concert. Take a ride share!

The location was okay. It is in the middle of the busy city. Surrounded by stores which is great! Upon arrival I was greeted with a smile. Paris was our receptionist when I checked in and was a very sweet gal! She helped me get parking situated with valet. She gave me a great little run down and we made it up to our room. The next morning we came down for breakfast and they had a great variety of choices! Everything was stocked and we didn’t struggle at all. They have coffee stations in the lobby and in the cafeteria. The staff upfront was great. They were so attentive with little and even had a prize box. There was a pool area that was perfect for the little and a great little gym area.

I have nothing bad to say I was very happy!!

The breakfast was incredible, the staff was so kind and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel was very good, and open late. The room was absolutely wonderful, great view of the city, really comfortable bed. My daughter loved the pool!

We had to walk from the train station, which was only about 4 or 5 blocks away, a very quick 10 minute walk. Myself, and my husband, our daughter who is 8 and our infant son. I thought a short walk like that would be safe and I was quite wrong. We had to walk past some extremely sketchy situations, including a gentleman actively shooting up on the sidewalk. Needless to say I would recommend spending the $20 for an Uber to the hotel even if you are just a couple blocks away. I didn’t realize Portland was as bad as it is. The hotel did an incredible job of keeping all of that away from their front door though. And they have a complimentary valet so if you have a car you are going to be just fine.
