The Inn was centrally located to the Civic Center, eateries, grocery store. Staff was quick to respond to replacing the iron when we called the office. The staff was friendly. Love the fact the floors didn't have the standard hotel carpet on the floor. The venue has a washer/dryer if you needed to do a load of clothes during your stay.

The freezer of the mini refrigerator had mold in the back of it. It the refrigerator definitely kept your food cold.

The staff had the A/C on which made my evening after my drive. The room was near the stairs so I didn't have far to walk. I appreciated the cable TV, HBO and having free Wi-Fi.

Staff cleaned my room during my stay which was not necessary. Had there been a tag on the door to not disturb I would have placed it. The staff had just changed cleaning materials. There was a strong smell present when walking in the room after a long day. The staff did come and take care of and brought a tag for the door. Staff should do better job to ensure insects are clear of room. A wasp was inside the curtains and was able to secure in a cup to let outside. Just glad it did not sting me.

The sweet lady at the desk was very accommodating tomorrow request. The food at the restaurant beside it was absolutely delicious and a very good value.

Each bed had two pillows and they could have been a little thicker but that’s me personally. You cannot please everyone all the time.

Came in for my cousin wedding , did not get to try the breakfast but location was great everything was close in driving or walking. I was able to check in little earlier since I would not able to do so at the time check in was due to being in a wedding. But couldn’t get in room till after 2 which I was ok with being I didn’t need to go to the room right away. Beds were comfortable bathroom was clean room was clean.

We have stayed at the Surrey many times. The rooms are always nice and fresh and clean. A/C blows nice and cold. Microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. Friendly staff. Conveniently located to downtown Caldwell.

The room was very clean and the rates were reasonably priced. It was a great alternative to staying in Bryan/College Station, where room rates are dramatically hiked for graduations. My daughter's commencement ceremony was just a 25 minutes drive away from the Surrey Inn. Wifi access was good and the shower felt great -- hot water and adequate pressure.

One minor problem was the handle of the toilet sometimes had to be jiggled to stop flowing. Although the water was great in the shower, the shower head needed to be replaced. There was no breakfast service and the soda machines didn't accept credit card payments.

The staff was great. They were very helpful and very accommodating. The location was great. The restaurant served amazing food and really good prices.

The bathrooms were very small. The tubs were very small with a very sloping bottom and no safety bars at all. The coffee was awful.

The staff was very helpful. The keycard lock to our door wasn't working, and they found us another room and even helped moved our luggage for us. We were very pleased with their personal attention and help.

The property was not far from the job.

The bed was extremely hard hurt my back. The noise out side,almost like the window is open but it wasn’t believe me I checked.

The office was very friendly. The room was very clean, especially the bed linens. I love that our room did not have carpet. It makes it much easier to know that the floor is clean and not harboring something dirty.

The bed was not the most comfortable, but for the price, it was expected. It is also near the main intersection so it is not super quiet, but Caldwell is a small town so it wasn't super busy at night. For the price and it being so clean, the noise was easy to overlook.
