Beautiful grounds and room. Lovely staff. Amazing brekky.

Walk into town involves a small bit with no path which is a bit ropey at night. If they could get a footpath there, it'd be golden. Shuttle service only runs once every 2 hours, and doesn't start till 930, which in my opinion is too late and finished at 530, which is too early :) I recommend starting from 730 and running hourly till at least 730pm, or better yet, just drive guests on-demand since the car only really fits 1 group anyways!

The most amazing villa I’ve ever stayed in. The whole place is pure luxury, Staff are fab, breakfast was amazing experience. Private pool is beautiful. I recommend Ubud village to anyone. We lived every second of our stay.

Nothing to dislike about the property at all. The one negative is the walk from the property to the local shops, bars and restaurants is not very easy as there is no path , meaning you have to walk down the road and it’s very poorly lit and run the risk of getting knocked down. Not the hotels fault , just location.

- Unfortunately very loud street near the resort. During the night you can hear the traffic noise. This is not helping to relax.

Our room was parallel to a busy road so we would often hear standard hooting, but it wasnt the end of the world.

Beautiful grounds and a wonderful warm staff. The pool area and the restaurant have a beautiful view of the rice fields. A walk in the morning through the property cheers you up.

Rooms need renovation, parts of the room are old and worn out. Some areas in the room need an immediate update. The property has a lot of potential, but falls a bit short of living upto 5-star standards due to this one reason

Amazing property, the stay was private and great value for money. Great rotating wellness breakfast and afternoon tea. Great location and beautiful interior. The main pool is well maintained and beautiful.

The pool had some loose tiles and general wear and tear of the property. Staff were helpful and friendly tho not attentive. The baby play room was dusty, hadn't been opened in a long time and didn't have lights. The rooms could have magnifying mirrors and the king beds were made of 2 beds, would have been more comfortable if it was one bed

Everything was so beautiful! The beautiful little rice fields, the Serenity Pool, the Restaurant and the Staff were so on point!! The Resort Manager, Pak Wayan Darmawan ensured we were well taken care of. We walked us down the stairs to our Driver's car and provided me his Business Card and said he would provide us with a nice discount should we ever return to this Slice of Heaven. Terima Kasih, Matur Suksema, Pak Darmawan. Ibu Mellanie Cook and I (Ibu Kathleen Stephenson) really enjoyed our private Villa and 2 night stay. Wish we had stayed longer.

Absolutely nothing. Everything was so perfect!

The location was in the middle of a rice field, so that was spectacular, it was literally a village there, the location was big, so well taken care of, all the personnel was lovely and so attentive and present all the time. The restaurants and the spa facility were amazing. The food was really good and with a lot of options. Our villa had a great pool, with a sun-bed, a space for relaxing outside sun protected, the inside AC was perfect for a nice temperature after walking around outside in a warm and humid weather. The room service and the cleaning was awesome and everyday we received something nice from the staff.

Tranquility in busy Ubud! Everyone was extremely friendly and greeted you whenever they passed by, the breakfast is delicious and changes everyday (although when we requested a dish from the day before, they went out of their way to make it for us), they also offer several discounts in their spa facilities and at their sister hotel in the heart of Ubud. The pool was very tranquil and they even offered a happy hour. We never felt overcrowded despite there being many guests. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants peace and quiet in Bali but wants to be close to Ubud to enjoy its sights. They even have a free shuttle bus to the Monkey Forest and central Ubud--what's not to like?!

We loved everything, but felt guilty for the amount of water bottles we went through. If possible, it would be environmentally better if they offered large refillable water bottles in the rooms rather than single use 500ml plastic bottles!

Our stay at Ubud Village Resort & Spa was exceptional. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated in traditional Balinese style, with a private pool and cozy rest areas. Despite being in a quiet and safe location, it’s just a short walk to the busy city center. Waking up to birdsong every morning was a delight. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, with a noticeable yet unobtrusive presence. They offered evening programs but always ensured a peaceful experience. The dinner menu featured an excellent mix of international and local dishes, with great quality and portions at reasonable prices. The breakfast menu, which changed slightly daily, was amazing, catering to various preferences, including local flavors. They were also mindful of food allergies. Afternoon tea, including snacks and drinks, was a lovely treat. Though we didn’t use the gym or spa, the infinity pool and pool bar were standout features for relaxation. The resort offers great value for money, with no hidden fees. It was the most relaxing holiday we’ve had, thanks to the tranquil atmosphere and attentive yet respectful staff. Wi-Fi could be improved, but the resort made up for it with free activities, shuttle service, and unforgettable cultural experiences like the Balinese BBQ dinner. Ubud Village Resort & Spa is a peaceful, beautifully designed retreat offering spacious rooms, excellent service, and a mix of cultural activities and dining experiences, making it a perfect destination for a relaxing and authentic Balinese stay. Of course we left the resort to explore the wonderful island, but didn’t want to miss a single minute in this tranquil haven. Highly recommended, and we would return without hesitation!
