Beautiful suite with everything you could possibly need or want. Fully functioning kitchen, separate bedroom with most comfortable bed, and lots of couches to relax on. Lots of special touches such as cozy blankets to curl up with. Karey very friendly and welcoming. Provided us with the name of a local restaurant which had great food. And the homemade, hot muffins in the morning (before our flight) were fabulous. The airport about 5 minutes away which was another definite perk. Highly recommend staying here.

The spacious suite was very comfortable and well-appointed with full kitchen, patio, two large bedrooms, dining room, sitting room. Everything was tasteful and in good order. The host provided a home-cooked waffles, muffins, or scones each day, even though we did not expect breakfast. Very friendly atmosphere with two large poodles.

A small suggestion: provide paved access. The graveled path to the suite is rather long to carry luggage, and it is difficult to wheel a suitcase over the stones. This becomes an issue for seniors. Even the two steps with no handrail was a drawback, and I had to go over the lawn to avoid climbing stairs.

Everything: the location walking distance from the beach, in a rural environment; a lovely garden; friendly dogs; outdoor relaxing space; interesting and safe gate locks; and interesting flowers and plants. Indoors every small detail was attended to. The interior decoration is stunning! The home made baked items served in the morning was delicious and a real treat!

A large ensuite bedroom attached to but separate from the main house. Separate entrance in rural setting but easy to get to and parking spacious. Near local golf course and bay beach. Hosts very friendly and will prepare and deliver breakfast to your liking - I just ate in the room. Fridge and coffee facilities in room.

The best thing about this place is the host. She is so thoughtful and considerate and tries to think of everything to make your stay better. She bakes fresh croissants for you in the morning and brings them to your room if you do the breakfast option! In addition to an absolutely brilliant breakfast all around. This is one of the nicest country stays we've ever had.

Nothing. If someone wanted quick (under 20 minutes) and easy access to Victoria they would be frustrated because it's not in Victoria. But that's really just a matter of looking at a map. This is a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was brilliant, Croissants the best ever. Hosts went out of there way to help us. Location a bit remote if you did not have a car and they took us many miles in there car to our destinations

Because of location and no car, access to restaurants within walking distance not possible,Taxi service left a lot to be desired.

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is truly a retreat. The garden is beautifully kept and the suite we stayed in immaculate. Every little detail has been thought of and Karey and Howie have created a delightful, relaxing, and most inviting accommodation. We were even treated to a culinary surprise each morning.

The host is absolutely wonderful. The room is cozy and comfortable. She makes a superb breakfast. Because we had a very early flight she allowed us to have an early check-in so that we could get a nap and a bath before we had to make the airport. She was so kind. This is a very special place.

For the very reasonable fee, there really couldn't be Improvement. It's a fabulous room. She's a fabulous host. The breakfast is exceptionally good. And it's 7 minutes from the airport!

OMG!!!! Where do we start...... unfortunately it was a rushed trip to catch an early ferry, but ...... starting our 20th anniversary by choosing to stay at this absolutely charming, gem of a place, with hosts that felt like our own family.... We didn't want to leave!!! I highly recommend and we will definitely be back as soon as we can:) One of our most memorable stays!!!!

We had the best stay at Coles Bay Vacation Retreat and would, without doubt, give it 10/10!! Karey and her husband were incredibly hospitable and the luxurious apartment was so well equipped. It was peaceful, convenient and just a few minutes walk to a lovely beach. And to top it all we had delicious breakfasts delivered to our door.

We liked everything!
