The experience in relaxing within the room and laying on the swinging bed in the backyard facing the back water is simply awesome. There are more activities which keeps us engaged and kills out boredom if we happen to experience one :). Beach view and Sit outs near the back of back water would be soothing and calming.

If the ideal motive is to spend the days within the property, then set your mind to spend a lot on food, it will definitely increase your budget plus 30%. Activities like Nets cricket and Archery are chargeable with GST. No indoor games are allowed after 7pm.

There were so many activities in the property and they also arrange taxis for local sightseeing or shopping. The buggy service within the resort was quick to take you around and great if you travel with kids or senior citizens, buffet meals had a lot of different variety and was great, creche in the property and activity room to keep kids occupied

There was some water leakage in the bathroom, a bit overpriced in peak season, some of the activities like cricket, archery etc were not included in the package price

The place is quite divine and serene and the best location to stay away from the crowd. The staff were polite and friendly and everything was slick and span. Watching peacocks in the surroundings was a pleasant surprise and we had fun too with the great zip lining experience over the river. We had a great welcome from the staff with a cake too and a wonderful message carved on the bed for our 25th wedding anniversary. Thanks for that.

The Place situated in between the sea and the river with untouched natural beauty stole our hearts.

While checking out early in the day the staff was very helpful and courteous and took extra effort to get us early breakfast. Pramod at the front desk was very very helpful.

Our checkin and rooms were a big disappointment. I had booked two twin-occupancy rooms in a single booking more than two months prior to travel date. Yet we were allotted two rooms far from each other. The checkin exec told me it was because we had made two bookings. when I showed her it was single booking she reluctantly accepted it may be the booking department's mistake. and she said the hotel was fully occupied. the room allotment caused us lot of inconvenience.

The warm welcome, their hospitality, the lovely villa accommodation, their complimentary tea and snacks services, their complimentary fruit basket, banana chips kept in the room as well as given as a return gift. The staff in their restaurant was very friendly and caring. Sri Lakshmi at the reception took great care at every step. The property is beautiful! The river as well as the beach are such a charm!

It’s a 5 star and Taj. It lived to its name to a large extent. The staff was amazing. The rooms were quite big and good. The location is nice, just by the backwaters and sea. The activities like Kayaking is very good, the swimming pool was just right and food was also quite good. Also, within in 2-3 minutes drive, you have lots of options of shops and eateries in case you want to explore the neighbourhood. Also the Bekal fort is about 5-7 minutes drive. The property is under 2 hours drive from Mangalore airport and 15 - 20 min drive from Kasargod town.

The sea beach is not accessible even in summer seasons is what we are given to understand as the water seems to be rough and the approach to the sea is downhill steep. So, if beach is the main aim of the stay, then you at max take a walk on the beach but can’t get into the water. So, keep this in mind.

Halloo, It was my first experience with the TAJ, I would say they have done a fantastic job just by creating this venue. Next the complete team has done a fantabulous job in the upkeeping of the property. Every small detail is taken care. We had a splendid stay and we are sure that we will be rushing back to this property whenever time permits. We loved it and enjoyed every moment spent there.

The property is very beautiful and picturesque. Loved how friendly and courteous the staff are. The creche area is an added advantage to families traveling with babies! Overall an amazing experience.

The beach is beautiful but one has to keep in mind that it's not a beach one can play at as the waters are too rough. The property although, has a facility to wash one's feet and hands after taking a beautiful walk along the shoreline.

The food was excellent. The breakfast was also great!

On arrival we could have been contacted regarding our food preferences after a long journey from Delhi since we were hungry. Also the welcome drink was not provided (we would have preferred coconut water). Also restaurant can provide us information on when the buffet would be there in Lunch or dinner to plan accordingly.

Taj Hospitality needs no introduction. Just out of the world. Albin, Sujay, Jason, Tanuja and many others just made our stay comfortable and so homely. The room was so pretty and the spa made me feel so comfortable, that I have no words to describe it. The restaurant By the Bay is a must visit. The property with its lovely confidence of backwaters and the sea presents such a unique sight. The cycling ride around Bekal was superb.
