The property was very spacious and there was lots in there provided for us. The information pack provided was really useful too! Once of the best ones we’ve had. Staff we’re lovely. Donna welcomed us in and was very kind and chatty. Had a few little problems with a taxi, however Donna helped us out immediately and was so easy to get hold of , which put us at ease. Donna was so lovely as the accommodation. If we are ever up this way again this will definitely be at mind to stay at again.

The only downfall is that taxis round this area can be hard to get because we are out of their perimeter. However a nice walk round and great views.

The property was exactly as described and in a perfect location near local shops , bars and restaurants . We booked Homewood at the last minute for unforeseen family matters and on arrival at 10 am knew that we were far too early to check in . After letting Donna and Steve know that we would be leaving our car outside they insisted on us having the keys and making ourselves comfortable . This was a very nice touch after a long drive and under the circumstances of our stay , something we wouldn’t have expected but we’re most grateful . Thank you . We would definitely stay again when in the area .

Ideal location, Excellent room and nice spec, be able to park bang outside was really nice and a bit pro! Room felt comfy to return after the evening out which was nice. Hosts very welcoming and helpful. The print out guide in the room also really useful

I haven’t marked in the scores. However the fridge is rather disturbing and noisy at night which means you have to turn it off, but as a consequence you lose whatever you have stored in it. But that’s a super picky gripe to what was otherwise excellent accommodation

Lovely room, with its own entrance from the road, plenty of hot water in the shower, and a very comfortable bed. But the icing on the cake was Donna and Steve - what lovely hosts! They sent me a code for the keysafe to let myself into the room, and mentioned that they’d be at a BBQ with friends on the beach, to which I was invited! I spent a memorable evening with my hosts and their friends - now that’s real hospitality!!

Perfect location. We parked our car (on the truly steep hill) and walked everywhere. Very nice owner who helped out when we had a problem or request (like could we have a few more tea bags, please). Bathroom was bigger than expected.

We liked everything.

Donna greeted us at the property and had the place ready for us early as we were already in Combe Martin. The room looked brand new and was spotlessly clean, with a smart tv, a fridge and tea and coffee and lovely little added touches. She recommended a place for lunch, The Dolphin which was lovely but got very busy (jubilee bank holiday) very quickly. The room is just down the street and and around the corner, to shops, the absolutely beautiful 2 beaches and the pubs in Combe Martin. A very relaxing, chilled vibe! Absolutely loved the place! I just wished we had booked an extra night or two

Location is great. The room is a decent size and well decorated, the en-suite was fresh and spotlessly clean (like all of the accommodation). A lot of thought has gone in to accommodating guests with an informative welcome booklet, free WiFi, Netflix, a small fridge, clothes horse, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities. Arrived on a very hot day but the room was pleasantly cool.

If I’m to be really picky the large full length mirror just needs hanging. But that shouldn’t detract from the large number of positives

The place was lovely. Pictures don’t do it justice! The bed was super comfy and the owners were really nice and accommodating. We were staying in the area as we were attending a wedding close by and this was the perfect spot!

It was great! Only thing is the hill is VERY steep ( I was too scared to drive up it, luckily my husband did). Obviously there is nothing to be done about it. Just be prepared to climb a hill!

Donna the host was amazing, even though I can talk for England she always had time to chat and give recommendations on places to eat and where to go with the kids for fun. The room was spotless and the location was great, Donna even let us use her garage which was a lovely touch. We will definitely look at going back in the near future.

Lovely private room, well furnished, very comfy bed and owners have thought of lovely little touches. Ideally placed for centre of Coombe Martin, beach and shops a short walk away.
