I booked a room with balcony but when I checked in I was told there were none left and I was getting an upgrade. The upgrade was "a better view" but no balcony. The reason why I booked this hotel was specifically because I wanted a balcony, I work from home and the last thing I wanted was to feel trapped in a room over the long weekend.

Our room was very nice with a fabulous view of the harbor. We ended up spending some nights sitting on our balcony instead of going out because we couldn't find any views that beat what we had right outside our room! The screen door was a very welcome surprise.

The lobby area was a little disappointing. Considering the location I would expect a more scenic view of the harbor. Instead, it was crowded and noisy, especially in the morning.

It was mostly clean . A lot of noise late on weekends . I guess to be expected . Sounded like someone was sick in the hallway throwing up . Was disappointed no room service didn’t know u had to request it and no one told me until I had to call down for a replacement blanket cause of a stain from Previous guest . And they took a whole day and had to call down again for it . And room smelt musty .

Location , breakfast , staff good , pool nice

Centrally located. Very clean and comfortable room. Free parking which is unusual in Charleston. Quiet and clean room with comfy beds.

No complaints except it was kind of pricey.

The room was clean.

We could not get the WIFI to work with our cell phone. Several attempts were made to connect. We have never had this to happen at any other hotel or cottage rentals. The TV reception was cutting in and out. We do not know if this was a cable issue or was tied to the WIFI problem.

We are elderly, 76 & 81, and our room was about as far away from the front lobby as it could get. There was an elevator that was close to our room but it still resulted in a very long walk to the front lobby and dining area. Other than that, everything was very good,

The staff was wonderful, we were there for a surgery at MUSC. I never even thought about needing a wheelchair for my husband. I called back to the hotel and they had one! Tristan had it for us when we got back.

The restaurant. Not a good selection to choose from and no lunch. I had Uber bring us some to eat.

It was a beautiful view of river

We checked in and the bed was broke so we had to take another room w/o a balcony and was told it would be 30 dollars less a night. Went to check out and was told we would have to go through booking.com in order to get refund of $90 for the 3 nights. I sincerely hope that I receive this refund since we did not get a balcony that we paid for.

Room/Beds were comfortable. Good TV.Good view of harbor Friendly staff.

The location of the hotel itself was difficult/confusing to access due to the street layout of Charleston--we had to cross the bridge on US 17 & make a U-turn to reach the street where the hotel was located! No grab bars in shower. Older folks need these due to balance issues.
