I came into town for my graduation. We honestly just needed a clean place to stay for a night. We were very tired after a long day of traveling and a long night this place exceeded my expectations and was very comfortable.

We didn’t know about the valet parking or where to go when we first got there. The lady I spoke to seem kind of irritated when I didn’t know where to go we were on a time crunch, so I was also very anxious about getting to my place for a graduation on time I felt that there could’ve been a little bit more understanding when someone can’t find where to go.

The space is gorgeous and felt very luxury - adding great value to the stay! The customer service and welcome was very professional and courteous. Even had a front desk agent follow up after giving me directions, which was very considerate. Well done.

Wanted to take advantage of the valet parking service, but as we were driving a manual car, this option was not available. Also the breakfast looked great Saturday morning, and went down to catch it on Sunday, but had to leave by 7:30am, and not all breakfast options were available. Also, like most hotels, shower pressure leaves something to be desired. ;)

Very spacious rooms with high ceilings. Great location for our purposes (music festival at Harriet Island park, which was around a 15 min walk). Walking distance (<15 mins) to some of the best restaurants in St Paul, including Meritage, the Buttered Tin and Saint Dinette

Good selection of TV channels, but couldn't connect our own device to it (no casting/smart tv). There was no safe in the room to store valuables. Housekeeping services were limited in frequency. Parking expensive compared to very close lots ($32/day compared to $16 and less across the road)

The building is really fun--it's an old post office--and the room was spacious with lovely and very high ceilings. The staff were all friendly but easy going in the right ways.

The hotel has a very unusual policy, which was nowhere evidently stated, regarding cleaning. They don't clean the room daily. Honestly, I was there for about twelve days and I never did figure out what the cleaning schedule was. That was a little annoying. Clean towels were a bit of an issue, and one day it was like they cleaned half the room but not the other half. It was strange and less than idea.

I like the location, it was my first trip and I found it easy to get around though it s a walk to find a convenient store. My purpose was a concert it was easy to get to and get from. It is a turn away from the airport and the mall. I liked the pool but I wished it had a view like the one in Minneapolis and a hot tub. I like the privacy and the breakfast buffet. After seeing several front desk people...at the end Brenda was the best. I was glad they let me check in earlier and stay an extra hour. I like my coach facing the window.

The first lady who checked me... totally dry. I m a visitor...welcome to Minnesota would have been nice. Is this your first time? Ask me anything... I m here to help. None of that. My bed was uncomfortable so the pillows. No view in the pool.

It was very convenient for getting around on the bus/metro lines, and very easy to get to from the train station. The breakfast they served there was great. Lots of options.

The toilet in my room was clogged and not fixed during the day like they told me it would be, but they gave me a plunger and were willing to move me to a different room if that didn't work (it did, fortunately). It was a minor issue, really, and not something that would deter me from staying there again.

We have stayed here before and we absolutely love the accommodation! It is just SO chic and the room is delightful on every way.

We stayed three nights. At no point did we have room service. One very little thing I love is having our bed made properly. I don’t need sheets changed, and the bathroom doesn’t need cleaning ( we keep things ordered). No replacement coffee pods! Also, when I make a comment that the breakfast makes IHG breakfasts (not the one at CDG in Paris) look good, that is saying something! Very disappointing. I honestly think it was much better last time we stayed there. Perhaps it was because our stay was over Christmas. Not sure.

Service by bar tender/chef was exceptional. I have a strict low salt diet requirement. She made an amazing accommodation for my needs. The fact that she seemed to be the chef, waitress and bar tender and doing all services exceptionally well remarkable. Our room was large, clean and tastefully decorated. Although the room was missing the customary description of service, the staff was very helpful.

The pool was small and not very deep. The signage at the entrance was confusing.

The architecture was amazing as it was an old post office. I loved that the location was right next to the Amtrak station so that I could walk to catch my early morning train. It is a really cool historical building in downtown St. Paul.

I really wish that there was more choices for food late at night. I arrived at 7 pm and had to wait to eat until morning as all of the nearby restaurants were only open for lunch. I advise planning ahead and packing a dinner.

We love the high ceilings in our room, how spacious the rooms are, and places to sit and chat outside of our room.

The hot breakfast could be improved, especially by presenting the food in better serving trays. It was difficult to find a place for the lid, then dish up, and put the lid back on. Metal serving trays with lid that are attached and flip up/down would help make the process smoother, safer and easier for even young children.
