Amazing value for money! It’s a very comfortable hostel, with a huge hang out area with a kitchen, and only a few minutes away by Tuktuk or bus from Galle Fort. The bed has little privacy and can get a bit hot at night, but the net and the fan on the bed kind of solves these issues. The showers are one of the best I had in Sri Lanka, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Even though I only stayed one night, they allowed me to keep my stuff here and use the bathroom, which was very convenient. Really recommend!

A great hostel, large rooms, cozy, lots of greenery and communal spaces, although not many people were there during my stay. Huge kitchen and dining area, washing machine, even tea and coffee (tea was really nice). Each dorm bed had an individual fan which was enough to keep cool, and showers had hot water. Only a short (10 min) bus ride to Galle Fort and the bus stop is very close. During my day trip to Galle Fort there was a huge thunderstorm and when I returned to the hostel, I found my laundry that had been drying outside brought in from the rain by the staff, so kind! There was also a donation/trade box for clothes people no longer wanted, which I found a very cool idea as thrift stores don't seem to be popular in Sri Lanka, and there's often need to make space in your backpack.

Nothing to dislike

The location (bus stop just in front, easy to get anywhere for a few rupees). The spacious 8 ladies dorm with high wooden ceiling and floor, big lockers, comfortable bed with individual light, socket, fan and mosquito netting! The huge lounge and dining area, the shared kitchen. Also the staff of 3, speaking little English but always on hand to help, to clean...

The only little inconvenience, the bathrooms being downstairs...but compensated by their cleanliness!

It was very well located, close to a big store and to surf schools. Hansi was so kind and helpful, she also took me to around for one night. The whole place is really big and comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped and clean. If it wasn’t too hot, I’d have stayed for longer, I’ve booked for 19 nights there but the hotness was unbearable, the hostel kindly reimbursed the 17 nights, such a relief for me. I’d suggest to go there during high season because I was there in mid August and no one was there, it might feel lonely.

We had the private room and really liked it. You have space to store your stuff safely, you have a fan and it was clean. For this price and the location being so close to dewata Beach to go surfing there it is really good. You have a cooking area, a nice chill area and also can refill cold water for free. The bathrooms were cleaned regularly and you also get free shampoo and shower gel in there. If you want to go to galle City centre or Galle fort it's like 40 minutes to walk but you can easily take the bus there. The next Bus Station was if you leave the Hostel to the left and then in front of the 'lucky seven', which is a place to eat.

The only thing is that the private room has a doorm bed.

This place is huge and has all appliances you need throughout the day. From cooking (well equipped kitchen with lovely flatware) to entertainment (books and a big speaker you can hook up with your phone). Beautiful garden and clean dorm and bathroom.

Every bed comes with a standard wall fan, I had to put on earplugs to ensure my sleep. Even my sleep monitor said it was too loud to keep in track of my sleep... It'll be swell to have an AC. It'll be cooler and quieter...too many mosquitos...nobody wanted to hang around the living room except my lonely music...

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Lovely staff, attached to a hotel training school too so a great vibe. Huge hangout area with hammocks and a well equipped kitchen. Lots of washrooms, powerful showers with hot water, and lockers that fit your whole bag. Fans and mosquito nets for every bed. And a walk from the beach and some great food options.

Nice hostel, good and clean rooms, nice beds. Budget Friendly. They have fans for each bed but there's no AC. However it's manageable.

Its little away from main area, but one can easily reach bus stand and other places by bus or tuktuk. Though staff was nice if they can have someone who is more interested in interacting with people then it would be great. Bathroom is at Ground floor so at night also you have to climb stairs for washroom as hostel is st 1st floor.

There is a small basic kitchen with everything you need. There is also a fridge so you don't need to store your food in your room. The chill area is pretty comfy and good to meet with other people. The rooms were clean and comfy. The Beach is very close and nice if you want to surf there, it's good for beginners. The Hosts were very kind and helped us nicely.

It's a long way to Walk to Fort Galle, so you should take the Bus or a tuc tuc. The Bus was like 80 rupees.

Staff was sooooo friendly and helpful, community area had a ton of activities and unexpected amenities, there was a cute boutique at the front of the hostel that my sister and I purchased clothes from for gifts etc. These ladies were so nice and caring, helped us get rides and translate when we needed help. Room was nice and location was perfect, right around the corner was the beach, the main road was right there but it wasn't loud at night, and Galle was about a 25 min walk

No complaints
