location is excellent when travelling to france & switzerland

We found casually this jewel at the lake. It looks very quiet and comfortable with a wonderful view on the Geneva lake. The hotel Le Léman remains very close to Evian and mainly to Montreux, where you can discover the magic Christmas atmosphere during the market period (end of November and December). Well linked to everywhere with a free parking you can enjoy the kindness of the staff. I will return there for sure.

Warm welcome and help with our bags which was good. Bedroom had stunning views over the lake. Comfy bed and breakfast was good and plentiful. There was a small private beach and pier over the road and with more time we would perhaps have taken a picnic down there.

The main road was a bit noisy at times but ear plugs were supplied. Our room was very hot and we had no instructions of how to adjust the air conditioning so we had to sleep with the window open.

The hotel was above an beyond what we expected. The location and the view of the lake was just breathtaking. We enjoyed our swims in the lake as the water was so pristine and clean. The staff though limited in English were very helpful and went of their way to help us. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. absolutely loved our stay here.

The fact that we were unable to get an extra bottle of water when needed as we had run short of it one evening.

Shower was amazing!! Room very nice, loved having a balcony and a view onto the lake. Kettle in room was a bonus as we could have a drink looking out at the lake and mountains. Bed comfy, nice white fresh bed linens, good size room. Lady in reception was most helpful.

The fridge in the room was probably too big as it gave out quite a bit of heat, so we needed the aircon on low to keep the room cool, it was a hot day

Great view to the lake either in the room or in the restaurant bar; good breakfast; parking slots in front of the hotel; direct access down to the lakeshore with lounge chair and towel; the young man at the reception was very kind and helpful. The bowl for my dog is a plus :-)

The main road in front of the hotel which we had to cross to reach the car parking slots and the access to the lake. However, this is not a big deal at all :-)

during rush hour the street in front of the hotel is pretty busy and it is a bit stressful to cross the road, the windows are well isolated so the street noise is not too loud, but unfortunately our room was next to an ?electronic control room? making a loud noise throughout the entire night

I really liked this hotel, the location was amazing the rooms were modern and very clean and the staff were very friendly. The private beach area was a bonus. We were 15 mins drive from a large waterpark that my son loved. I think it is good value for money in a usually expensive area. Highly recommend.

An incredible location boasting views over the lake towards the Swiss side of Lake Geneva. Driving there isn’t difficult - it’s almost a straight road out of Geneva. The room was plenty big enough, with its own relatively private balcony/terrace type affair. Air conditioning was a God send. Though the room might be advertised as ‘lake view’ it may be that the room actually faces the mountains, with one window on the side giving a view of some of the lake (hardly an issue). The reality is there is an amazing private beach across the road which is where we spent most of our time.

Breakfast was a little lacklustre and there was no hot food available. I might be pedantic but the bread was rock hard. We needed towels from the concierge (advertised as being there until 9) but left just after 8pm.

Breakfast was extra €13/ person continental buffet, cold meats, cheeses, patisseries, cereals, coffee & tea, fresh fruit, excellent jams, all enjoyed on the terrace overlooking lake Geneva/ Leman. Across the road and down a few steps there is a private pebble beach ideal for a morning swim.

The hotel is a few kilometres from Saint Gingolph, in a little hamlet called Bret. It’s on the main road to Evian so there is a little bit of traffic. There is parking opposite the hotel but getting in & out is not so easy with the traffic. The hotel has no restaurant so you have to drive somewhere to eat
