Beautifully designed boutique guesthouse on a very nice and peaceful island. Out of 5 guesthouses on 5 local islands Manta Reserve was one of the best. Rooms: big room with comfy bed, light, very nicely and tasteful decorated, small fridge, huge bathroom. Rooms were cleaned every day. Food: best food we had on Maldive islands. Several choices for breakfast (fruits, yoghurt, cerials, ommelette). Fresh, well prepared fish for dinner, also great curries. Kristin Raja is a fantastic cook and will discuss with you how you like the food prepared. Staff: All people at Manta reserve are very very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Affan, the owner or Mr Nair is always around to help you and answer questions. They will do anything to make your stay comfortable. Reef / snorkling: good snorkeling with lots of fish near bikini reef. We also did a nice snorkeling excursion by boat to nearby reefs. Besides all nice coloured fish We saw turtles, reefsharks, rays. Maalhos: nice, quiet island, friendly people. In a way Maalhos felt better kept, and there was less construction going on as on the other islands we visited. Highly recommended, both Manta Reserve and Maalhos!

It's a perfect guesthouse villa on a local island to help slow down and enjoy the true beauty of Maldives. The villa offers scuba diving and a variety of excursions. On one excursion we saw turtles, manta rays and sharks. We also spent half day on a sand bank surrounded by crystal clear waters only. The island has a great cozy bikini beach and an amazing public beach. Don't miss out on snorkelling around the house reef every day. The villa also booked our domestic transfers and local flight. They gave us clear directions from the day we first made the booking. We wish them all the best. They helped make this the most memorable holiday we’ve ever had.

Amazing place. Manta Reserve is a new, clean and well-maintained facility. Close to the beach. Best place to stay on Malhoos. The care was premium, beyond our expectations. Affan, the owner is very kind, respectful, friendly and helpful. I contacted him before our stay. He responded fast and was ready to answer all my questions. He communicated all the prices before our stay and was ready to cook according to our vegetarian diet. We were coming to Maldives for the first time and did not know how to arrange the transport from the airport to the island. Affan offered to arrange a speed boat for us. He personally welcame us at the airport and took the speedboat ride from the airport to the island with us. He helped us with everything we needed. His cooking is great, he is using much of local organic items like fresh coconut water and pulp, papaya, star fruit, mango, island grown fruits and veggies. On two nights we dined directly on the beach. Even the blue fluorscent plankton appeared which was an unforgetable experience. Affan, the owner, arranged our trips - snorkling with turtles, local cuisine cooking class, coconut oil making class and dolphin watch. We saw coral reef and swam with big turtles, tropical fish, sting rayas, mantas and watched dozens of dolphins. The island, Maalhos, is beautiful with turquoise water and white coral sand beaches which are not at all crowded. You’ll find beautiful sea shells on the beach. There is a forest on the island, full of palms and tropical trees. It has pathways with smooth white sand and you can roam there freely. Weather is great 28-32 degrees Celsius. Local people are very friendly. You can walk on the beach around the island, it takes around 45 minutes to go around the island. This holiday was a dream and I will recommended it to my friends. It’s totally worth the money, we enjoyed our stay very much.

The property is beautifully designed, both inside the rooms and outside in the luscious courtyard. The location is perfect, just a short walk away from everything (beach, supermarkets, restaurants). Maahlos is a beautiful island with fantastic snorkelling, we saw turtles and eagle rays on the house reef several times during our stay. Breakfast was perfect, and very filling each morning. The owner and his team went above and beyond to make sure that we had a perfect stay for our honeymoon. Affan arranged several transfers, excursions and activities for us, including getting to snorkel with manta rays in Hanifaru bay which was a dream come true. He was always available and super responsive before and throughout our stay. His local knowledge is excellent and he has the best recommendations! We truly felt spoilt on our stay at Manta Reserve. Our whole experience there was so perfect thanks to the beautiful space and the thoughtful and attentiveness of Affan and his team.

Absolutely nothing!

Easily the nicest place we’ve stayed in the Maldives! it’s the perfect location, clean well maintained facilities, and the most comfortable bed. the showers are hot and the AC is amazing but the best part about it is the Michelin level chef that prepares incredibly thoughtful fresh, healthy meals every single breakfast, lunch and dinner. we felt truly spoiled almost like we had a private chef. we’ve never been ones to eat solely at one location but we never wanted to leave because of his incredible cooking. each meal we’d look forward to the next. we’d highly recommend staying here solely for the food vacation lol the island is very very quiet with not a ton to do but with these meals and this location that is all you need for a relaxing vacation. the staff all around is just excellent. we miss it already !!

The hotel was brand new, the rooms and the place was easy on the eye, we stopped by here to visit hanifaru bay and just see the Mantas and we did it & It was magical swimming with them! we should have stayed longer, the island it self is a quite and relaxing place with wonderful nature, we should have booked the place to spend our entire holiday in the Maldives and we are definitely coming back for a future holiday.

I loved everything, the staff was really caring and kind. Everything was clean, food delicious and the atmosphere was really relaxing. Thank you Mr Farhan and Mr Naeem for hospitality and kindness and Shariq for the snorkeling trip. I will definitely come back

loved the place. a gem on the island. Its a brand new place with nicely decorated interiors and very near the beach. Villa hosts ensured my holiday on the island was perfect by attending to every request and going the extra mile. They organised turtle snorkeling , stand up paddle bording and dolphin cruise. The island is quite and relaxing ... pefect to spend 7 days, though my stay was short and brief. Will defienitly be back for the perfect doze soon.

We absolutely loved our stay at Manta Reserve and we highly recommend it. The team is incredibly helpful and they supported us from the beginning of our trip to the end, including sharing tips on how to get there. The chef deserves a Michelin star. This is a small property and a small island and you definitely get to rest and relax fully. The team was involving us in excursions almost daily and we had an incredible time on all of them. I also loved that Manta Reserve is a fairly new infrastructure and it definitely shows. Everything was cleaned and in mint conditions inside the bedroom.

Everything was perfect. Bed and food, house reef, trips to see manta, sandbank, clean beach and quiet island.
