The staff at this hotel was super professional, friendly and always there to help. We felt very welcome. We got a free upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. We also had a little balcony - great in case of bad weather. In case your room has no balcony, the hotel has a terrace as well that can be used by the guests. There are a couple of very nice restaurants close by that offer excellent local cuisine. Highly recommended. The beach is also very close and we enjoyed spending time there. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book this hotel again. Recommended.

The breakfast was okay, but can be best described as average. Only a small selection of veggies and fruits, and after a few days it felt quite dull. The rooms are quite badly sound-proofed: We could clearly hear both the snoring neighbour next door as well as the crying infants in rooms on the opposite side of the corridor. If you are sensitive to noise, best take earplugs with you.

Fabulous beach location; not crowded or touristy. Doria also provides its guests with daily beach towels, umbrellas and chairs for a fee. Easily accessible to 5terre by bus and train. Daily breakfast was plentiful with lots of options! The local bar across the road offered delicious and affordable panini that we ate for lunch daily. The staff were very helpful with planning of 5terre trip and beach prep. Air conditioning and balcony were key! And the views with the lively atmosphere outside were a true taste of Italy!

Although the location was a great base for our 5terre vacation, it was a bit far from the train station and had to take the bus to and from the hotel. Only 5 minutes though. The rooms were a tad tight in space for 4 people, but manageable!

Excellent hotel at a walking distance from the beach. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The hotel has an underground parking and also an outdoor parking at 300m. It has a huge, beautiful terrace with beds, chairs, lots of spaces to enjoy a drink. It has a restaurant that looked popular for dinner, and the breakfast was well stoked, with decent options. The bar had nice drinks and decent prices. There is also a beach access where you can prepay two beds, one umbrella and two towels at 30 euros. The staff is amazing, very helpful and kind.

Big common terrace, parking in the front of hotel and in garage, close to the beach, friendly staff, diner is very good, breakfast can be better ( ex. pls add mozzarella ), you can borrow bike and recharge your own,

Noise early in the morning from the lobby ( if you are on the ground floor ) and noise from the restaurants in the street behind hotel. If you are in the room with view on the mountain you will not sleep until midnight.

The staff was very kind and commited, the food was very good and plentiful.

The room wasn't any special. It has a cold atmosphere because of the tiles on the floor and there is no carpet. The bed wasn't comfortable. The toilet was so high that it was uncomfortable to use. The shower is not really practical because it has no cubicle, only a curtain and all the water goes to the floor if you are not cautious. The bathroom door was very creaky. There was no vegetables at the breakfast so we had to ask for it every day, because it would have been hard to eat the scrambled eggs and bacon without vegetables. The parking spots which are 50 m away from hotel is not recommended for low cars because the entrance is very steep and we scratched the front of our car.

Nice and helpful staff. Very tasteful and rich breakfast. The beach is only 2 mins by walk. Great restaurants near to the hotel. The public transport stations are very close (bus - 1 min, train - 7 min), so we could visit every nice place (Cinque terre, Portofino, Porto Venere, etc) without a car. Clean room with daily cleaning, and the whole hotel was clean and decorative.

The soundproofing is a bit weak, we heard noises from the other rooms and the corridor. The shower cabin was very tiny in our room. The breakfast in only available from 8 am what is a bit late for us (however the staff was flexible in this topic)

The hotel position was very good and the staff amazing: very polite and always so helpful. It was a pleasure to spend a couple of days there :) A big plus also for the AC in the room :)

Although we enjoyed very much our stay, there was a lot of noise mostly during night, but also in the morning. During night the noise was mainly from outside (people from the restaurants) and also from other visitors in the hotel who were practicaly slamming the door (instead of closing it) and speaking very loudly. In the morning there was some construction work and as well the noise made by the other visitors in the rooms from the 1st floor were we stayed.

This was a great location near the beach. The terrace to sit out in the evenings was very nice and peaceful. The breakfast had a lot of choices

We were not aware until we were checking out that we could have rented beach chairs and equipment from the hotel. it seems like the cost would have been cheaper at the hotel than the locations on the beach.

Clean room and common area, good restaurant, quite good breakfast, clever and very kind staff (both hotel and reastaurant), very close to the beaches

A bit noisy and crowded, dogs allowed into the rooms, old architectural internal finishing of the building, cleaning up of the rooms during early afternoon (till to 02.00 pm) when someone would like to rest after lunch or beach, private parking narrow that may require efforts to park in/out
