Very well located for subway and main train station to the airport. Very clean, bed comfortable, shower great.

No kettle in the room, so needed to bring two cups of boiling water upstairs from the lobby to make a tea in the room in the morning. Charges for a teabag for a morning brew! The fridge looked like a fridge but wasn't cold, so couldn't keep anything fresh in it.

Fantastic hotel in a great location - walking distance to Taipei Main Station (less than 10 minutes) for easy access to and from Taoyuan International Airport. Also less than 10 minutes away from the bustling Ximending district, which means there's always food and nightlife available. Super clean, very comfortable bed, with blackout blinds to ensure you can get a really good knockout type of sleep. Two free bottles of water every day, and the ability to control everything in the room, including your cleaning service, via the iPad in the room.

Not really a con because the location really is excellent but if you're looking to have convenience stores or food LITERALLY on your doorstep, you'll have to walk a little bit for those (5 to 7 minutes tops). Hotel is very quiet!

The most mesmerising smelling lobby and common lounge area, EVER. The decor is fabulous and very contemporary, young and pop art centric. The cafe is great with amazing vegetarian options and great cocktails and coffee. The most amazing part was the location. The hotel is maximum 1-2 bus stops away from Ximending area or a maximum 10-15 mins walk away. The room was well appointed and cozy. We loved that it was controlled by an iPad. It felt super cool.

The quality of bed linen and bath linens could be improved to improve the overall sleep and stay quality.

Breakfast is nice. simple and filling for stomach. the hotel is clean. Also walking distance from ximending and underground mall but nearby hotel not much food choices

the rooms are quite small. not enough space to put luggage. the lights control are via the ipad, which is a hassle

Excellent location, and CitizenM really lived up to it's mission to provide affordable luxury for modern travelers. Absolutely love the room with its one-iPad-to-rule-it-all method, and staff are always courteous and very helpful.

There's really very little to dislike about the place. It would be great to have a bidet in the toilet (completely understand that it is a cultural thing), a water station to refill our water bottles, and better selection for English content on the TV. Everything else is nothing shy of excellent!

I asked for a river-view room on a high floor. The view is great! The high-tech room is comfortable and clean. The check-in and check-out were efficient.

Although the location is near popular destinations such as the Taipei Railway Station and Ximendin, it is in between so takes time to walk to these spots. Although the check-in and check-out are pretty high-tech, they can be a bit confusing for foreigners.

Will strongly recommend this hotel but will be suitable for couples or 2 friends sharing a room if you don't mind sleeping on a big king bed with a friend. Simply love the unique fragrance of the hotel and the big colourful swing outside the entrance and using the iPad to self check-in and self check-out but of course if you need help, you will always be attended by friendly hotel staff. We are welcome by a handsome muscular staff, this is sold point. Hahaha The room cleanliness is superb. All bottles have cute wordings on it. Love their ambience, their breakfast spread, their unique collections of art pieces and the location of hotel was good too, walking distance to famous 西门町 and to take bus or train. Last but not the least, they wish my boy a happy birthday 🎂 🎈 by allowing us to redeem two drinks 🍻 at their beautiful canteenM! Thank you, Citizenm Taipei north gate ! Nothing that I dislike.

Bed was really comfy and we love that everything could be controlled by an iPad in the room! Shower pressure was great as well :) Hotel was also conveniently located near Ximending and Taipei Main Station where we could walk there in about 10-15 mins. Self check-in was a breeze too at their automated kiosks, and we could even keep the keycards as souvenirs after we check out!

Room was a little too small for two especially with two big luggages and there was not much space to place your things as well around in the room. Hairdryer was not the best so girls with long and thick hair be prepared to take a much longer time to dry your locks!

Loved this place. We got a view of the water on the 18th floor so it was extremely beautiful. Although the room itself was quite small for my taste, everything was linked electronically to the iPad. There’s LED colored lights for the bathroom that you can adjust to your color liking. You’ve got regular blinds for the windows and also blackout blinds if you want to sleep in without being disturbed by the sunlight. The second floor is where the dining area is at. Food is at additional cost but buffet style with so many different cuisines to choose from. I liked the fact that they had a microwave available as well so we would just bring leftovers from the previous day to warm up and eat for breakfast. I also liked that their water was infused as well but that’s a personal taste.

The elevators were a bit confusing since one only goes up to like floor 15 or something and the other 2 goes up to highest. I’m sure it’s because of how the building was built so it’s not really something that takes away from the overall stay.
