The room was quite big and spotlessly clean where it was serviced every day, the breakfast, lunch and evening meal was good where there was plenty of choice for everyone. The carpark was very big and you could easily fit a Ranger Rover Sport in there and there was also high transit vans in the garage so no issues on parking. The outside pool was open but I never used it but there was a few people that used it over the Christmas. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We was the only English in the hotel when we was staying there but I would like to say a big thank you to RAVI who was working in the dinning room and she really looked after us throughout our stay.

The main pub in the hotel was closed and it would have been nice to have a quite drink without lots of noise from the pool tables. The outside pool bar was closed throughout Christmas as well. But the entertainment room bar is open. If you are thinking of going to Salou over the Christmas / New Year then all the shops and bars are closed down within Salou which is know to the English as the main town area. There are shops and Spanish bars open in what is known as the old town which is where the Spanish tend to live and shop. If you go to this hotel or Salou in the main season then it's a great area and all the bars within the hotel are open.

The staff were excellent, everyone was extremely friendly and lovely. The entertainment was superb, every night there was something different. The variety of food was again really really good, everything was fresh. The hotel is extremely clean everywhere and the grounds are well kept and beautiful. Location is great, short walk to all amenities and Llevant Beach. We rented bikes for one afternoon which was a great option to have right then and there. Dining room was spacious and bright. We would definitely return to Sol Costa Daurada in the future.

The thing we disliked most was the fact that you only get water, juice and coffee included with breakfast. For lunch and dinner you have to pay for these drinks. Would have preferred to have at least the water included in the package. The pillows were not the most comfortable.

The room was quite big and very clean and the selection of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was ok as well with a good selection of meals and cakes The pool bar and the main bar was also good with a selection of beers, wines and spirits which was a reasonable price but the main bar should be open earlier instead of 8pm at night. The carpark is also very large and very secure at a reasonable price. The staff were nice and very friendly and helpful. The hotel is within a 10 minute walk to the train station and the adventure park and within a 15 to a 20 minute walk into the town centre of Salou or the old part of Salou where the there are local Spanish shops, the market and Spanish bars where the beer is only 2 euro for a bottle of Mahou beer.

The swimming pool area don't open until 9am and there's a lot of people waiting to get the sunbeds and once the doors open to gain access to the pool area there was over 30 plus people pushing, shoving and running down the steps to throw there towels onto the sunbeds and this is very dangerous and an accident waiting to happen.

This hotel has it all. Lovely, big pool with varying depths to suit all. Lots of space for sunbeds. Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily. Busy hotel for families but doesn’t feel too crowded. Enjoyable evening entertainment. Well stocked bar. Ideal hotel for groups who wish to stay put and make use of al amenities. Huge selection of continental and cooked breakfast. Rooms are nice and cool with air con, which is definitely needed in the summer heat. Each room has a small fridge. Shampoo/shower gel dispenser in the bathroom. Floaties are allowed in the shallow end of the pool. Huge schedule of events daily from... sangria tasting, aqua aerobics, inflatable obstacle course, water polo, kids disco etc. Schedule is posted in the hotel lobby.

It would be nice to have a small table on the balcony. The hotel is about a 10 min walk from a shop, but there are vending machines in the hotel. There is always a queue for the lift. Music is always playing loudly through speakers at the pool, which we enjoyed, but some people may not.

The buffet breakfast and dinner is amazing, so many options and you get desserts with the dinner and you get coffee and juice with the buffet breakfast. The outside pool is big, the bed was very comfortable and the room wasn’t too cold or hot. The room was very clean. The hotel had lots of things to do like music most nights, quizzes, has an indoor pool and two jacuzzis. There was a games room too. Outside area was lovely at night time with nice lights and the pool was lit up. The staff are so lovely especially one woman who seems to organise the breakfast and dinner in the dining area.

The outside pool was freezing, you need to pay for plain water with dinner. The lift took a while to come up or down sometimes as there are no stairs to use only a lift it was being used a lot.

great value for money: - very good restaurant (To my experience - better than an average 4* in Spain) - good location - 10min to Port Aventura, 10 min to beach, plenty of parking spaces around - nice pools (indoor, outdoor)

what can be improved: - we were beginning of May and outside pool/sea is still cold and there were a couple of rainy days. However, indoor pool opening hours are only from 17.00 to 20.00. So, around 18.00 the entire hotel was unsuccessfully trying to fit into swimming pool. :) Why not to extend the hours...?

Really great entertainment for kids and adults by the pool and in the evening. Rooms were nice and airy. Bar staff and reception staff were really lovely and welcoming. Pool area was great and chilled. Location was great as we walked to the beach, town and to the theme park.

Only thing bringing it down for us: Food for vegetarians was very limited especially for dinner, and what we really struggled with was there was no labels so we didn't know what things contained meat/fish and what didn't. Staff didn't tend to know so had to keep asking the chef. Canteen staff were a bit rude especially if you didn't want to buy any drinks with dinner.

This is a beautiful hotel set just outside the town so there is none of the noise of being in salou town, a short walk however and your in the centre of Salou. The hotel is spotless, the food delicious (we were full board) every meal was beautiful and a lot to choose from. There are plenty of sunbeds so no sunbed wars, the pool is large and again spotless. It’s very close to portaventura and Ferrari land so perfect for families and fun seekers. We have been going to this hotel for 14 years and never had a problem. The staff are all lovely and very helpful.

Spotless hotel, hard working lovely staff Had stayed many times when my children were small Could not believe Rosi in dining room remembered me charming lady, Also shout out to the fantastic Margarita who was so lovely and so nice to everyone Been vegetarian I'm limited but plenty of options Rooms redecorated nicely And plenty of space in them despite other reviews!short walk theme pk ideal for families Great show on one of the nights ,and it seemed plenty entertainment for the kiddies.

Unfortunately on floor four we had a couple who fought non stop in their room despite security calling Loud man on balcony until 2.30am on our second night Can't understand why there is not a floor security check like previous hotels I've stayed in.quiet hours from 10.30 pm ect Despite we had a great time You can't always avoid these people

One of the best hotel beds we've slept in. Very comfy, nobody in our group (family of 13 in 5 rooms) had any issues and slept really well. Rooms and facilities always very clean. Excellent cleaning staff. Very good location for Port adventura park goers. Maybe 10-15 min walk to the beach. Take the green gate out back from the swimming pool area. It saves you some time walking downtown/beach. The food was good (half board). All members of the family could find something to their liking every night. Always some stables with a selection of new dishes every night. The best part was seeing a friendly face in the dininng hall almost every evening. The receptionist in the dining hall was so friendly and made the stay all the more memroble. Bar staff was also very friendly and helpful. And we liked that the pool saftey guard took his job very seriosly so our stay at the pool was enjoyble and safe. We would recommend staying in Sol costa Daurada to other familys coming to enjoy the sun and going to the Park.
