Ron and the rest of the staff at Wina Wani were amazing! They helped us out with any tours or trips that we wanted to do. We would highly recommend the rice field, waterfall and black monkey forest tour as we learnt alot about the environment surrounding the bungalows. Complementary breakfast was really nice and the fresh ginger tea is to die for! Beds were comfy and bungalows had all essential amenities. I would definitely recommend taking some mosquito repellant, especially to wear at night. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely visit again 😄

The hospitality at WinaWani Bungalows is out of this world! I don't even know where to start. We stayed here for 2 nights after climbing Rinjani and we came here extremely dusty, tired, and hungry. They took care of EVERYTHING! They arranged for all our laundry to be washed, got us some amazing food at Warung Monkey Forest (part of the family business), and provided a great bed in a cute Bungalow for a good night's sleep (just make sure to bring good earplugs for mosque in the morning;) ) On the next day, we got some delicious breakfast (loved thebanana pancakes!), did an amazing half-day tour through the town (including 2 waterfalls, the rice fields, the money forest and sooo many other things and plants and people), relaxed in their beautiful garden, and had some more food at Warung Monkey Forest. They also arranged a lift to an ATM and a taxi to the airport for us, offered free hot drinks all the time, and even had a free drinking water dispenser (which I have not seen in ANY other hotel on our vacation so far)! As a cherry on top, they even cut off a part of their beautiful pink Indonesian flowers so that we can grow them at home. We couldn't recommend WinaWani more!!

The staff were absolutely amazing! When you are there, you feel like a VIP. They are all so kind and generous, everyone remembers your name, and wants to make sure you are happy and comfortable. They organised a trek around Tetebatu (would definitely recommend; waterfalls, rice fields, tropical fruit, monkeys!) and a fun and tasty cooking class for a great price. The warung run by their family (Monkey Forest Warung) is also a great place to eat; delicious local food and of course, friendly staff! Facilities are simple but you will be made very comfortable by the lovely team. We would stay here again 100%! Thank you Ron, Astro, Ziq and family for our favourite stay in Lombok so far; we will be back again! Not a negative about the property, but it’s useful to know that the call to prayer is very loud in the morning (bring earplugs!), it can get quite cold in the evening compared to the rest of Lombok, and the atms are only accessible by car/scooter. You will have a great stay here nonetheless!

The Wina Wani feels like home directly from Arrival! It’s perfect located to visit the tetebatu rice terraces, some waterfalls and an a monkey Forrest. The bungalows are surrounded by a nice garden and connected to little jungle with a lot of bananas! From the garden you can see the rinjani and a beautiful sunset! But the most special part of the winawani is the owner family! They are all nice people, very friendly and helpful! They offer a nice breakfast especially the banana/pineapple pancake are delicious. For lunch and dinner you can go to the monkey Forrest Warung (also operated by this family). Also very good food.

The site is located in the middle of vegetation in a small village at the base of the Rinjani. The site is quiet and idilic. Even with rain, as we had the first day, was nice sitting there reading a book or listening to music. The rooms are small and basic, but comfortable. The food from their local restaurant (Monkey Forest Warung) was excellent and at a very good price. We did 3 meals with them trying different dishes every time and all were really tasty. Worth taking the rural 1/2 day tour with them as they will tell you all about the area. You will visit the Monkey Forest, see the rice fields and a couple of waterfalls. The owners were really helpful and pleasant always worried about our wellbeing and ensuring we had a good time. They facilitated also the transport at reasonable prices from and to the site so did not bother to look for alternatives. Just agree the price in advance to ensure you are comfortable with the quote. We did not do any trekking to the Rinjani but good spot to start from, if you are brave enough to go up! Pretty much an excellent experience, and really wish we can come back again.
The only downfall is the regular and lengthy calls to pray from the mosque that is nearby. The most challenging the one at 05:00 am if you have a light sleep. The setting thought made this stage of our trip still very worthy, this being a minor disruption

The bungalows were basic but clean and comfortable. The garden and surroundings were beautiful-lush and colorful. It’s very peaceful except for the frequent loud calls to prayer by the mosque right next door. The staff was incredible- friendly and attentive. We had many interesting conversations with them. The food was simple but tasty and inexpensive.
The frequent loud and long mosque’s calls to prayers, the first one being shortly after 5 am. However this is their life and nothing to do with the property except its close proximity to the mosque. At least for me, after the first 2 mornings, it didn’t seem to be a problem as I was able to somehow sleep through it.

The location is beautiful - the bungalows are situated in a lush tropical garden with rice terraces, the jungle and Mount Rinjani in the background. Amazing sunset views. The bungalow was super clean and comfortable with no mosquitoes inside. We spent every evening on the terrace of our bungalow observing the changing sky and a variety of wildlife. The family running the place makes you feel at home and are incredibly kind and hospitable. They always brought us complimentary ginger tea when we sat outside of our bungalow and the included breakfast was delicious and filling. The family also introduced us to unusual fruit we’ve never tried before. We ate all our lunches and dinners at the family warung which serves delicious food. The tours offered by the family are the best. We did the incredible half day walking tour around Tetebatu with Ron’s nephew during which we learnt lots about rice growing and local spices and fruits and we saw black langurs. The full day tour took us to amazing waterfalls in a jungle and offered authentic encounters in local villages. We also enjoyed a cooking class in the family warung!

Everything was perfect! I wish we could have stayed longer just to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of this place. I could sit on the front porch all day and just enjoy the view! The staff were incredible, taking time to chat with you which was really nice! The shower in the room was spectacular, the water felt really fresh! We rode up on scooters from Kuta so we could explore the area. There are a bunch of beautiful waterfalls nearby. There’s also a lot to see just on foot near the place as well. There is a warung next door run by the owner’s wife. The food was great and well priced. I would highly recommend coming to this place and if you can stay an extra day or two, it’s worth it. Don’t rush out of this place!

Ron and his family are extremely welcoming and friendly and the location is stunning. The bungalows are very simple, but are clean and have hot water. The breakfast is simple, but nice as well and they will even bring it to your bungalow if you wanna eat there. For the price, this is all super fair. In addition, we can highly recommend the Indonesian food in the family owned restaurant up the street. It's delicious and excellent bang for your buck. Also, we did a village tour with a person from the family. It's not super cheap, but it's incredibly interesting and well spent money. All in all, our stay in Tetebatu was great and we would come there again.
- Wifi signal was almost non-existent in the last bungalow where we stayed which could probably be fixed by a repeater. Other reviews spoke of good internet, but we effectively had none at all in our room. - If you have issues with little insects, this may not be a place for you. It is quite close to the jungle and that comes with animals. On the last day we had an ant trail passing our luggage on the floor of the bungalow which required us to clean everything. - The several (!) mosques around the property will wake you around 4am/5am if you are not completely deaf. It feels like the load speakers are behind the bungalow wall. For us it was part of the authentic experience and hearing all the mosques also has a beauty to it. But you probably wanna bring earplugs.

Amazing stay! The whole family is so nice, Tetebatu really is worth visiting, such a calming place. The bungalows are nice and authentic, has everything you need. The gardens in the surroundings are beautiful, the food at the restaurant is great. I highly recommend doing day tour, Ziq walked me through the village, explained how they live, he knows everyone so you can have interactions with locals, we also saw black monkeys and had a refreshing dive in the waterfall! Thank you for everything :)
