Most of the staff were absolutely fantastic! There was one lady in the kitchen and one lady on the reception who really shined, but they all felt like one big family. The kitchen was so accommodating and even cooked us some lovely off-menu meals when we made special requests. The breakfasts were great. Gorgeous sunsets from the restaurant. The room was attractive and clean, with a huge comfy bed. There's another lovely restaurant option just around the corner ('Rusters', I highly recommend it). Great fitness classes a short walk down the road at Bala Bali. Ubud is one of the best locations to explore Bali, you're right in the middle so the whole island is your oyster.

They were building an extension, so the serenity of the place was disrupted by construction during the day (but the extension did look like a great addition to be fair), I believe that construction will be going on until August/September 2024 so keep that in mind. The paddy fields you see in the pictures aren't actually paddy fields anymore, they are now wild greenery, still very pretty but not paddy fields (which we were excited about). We had a few great massages there, but I had one very disappointing experience where the therapist was very distracted and tapping away on her phone throughout the massage, the villa refunded me for that one.

Beautiful tranquil retreat from the noisiness of Ubud. Friendly staff, and as it is a small boutique hotel, a family feel to it. The facilities were really good; my deluxe room was spacious, clean with a kitchenette included and a lovely bathroom. Also there was a glorious view onto the rice fields, and a lovely area where we could sit in the swimming pool area. The restaurant was by the front desk, and the food was good, though for dinner two of the nights I went to a very good restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. I had an excellent massage and there were books in a library area to read.

The challenge with this lovely hotel is the transport into Ubud or anywhere else in Bali. The hotel provides motorbikes and bicycles, but I didn't feel confident enough to try the motorbike on my own, and a bicycle is a little precarious in the face of the traffic into Ubud. There is a shuttle back and forth into Ubud once a day, but the only other option is taxi. I only stayed three nights, and if I have been staying longer I might have thought about hiring a car or just booking (via Booking.com or a local driver) regular taxis. If the hotel can find a better way to allow guests to be mobile I think this would be less frustrating for guests.

Spacious room, there was a plumbing issue on our last day in the bathroom so they upgraded us to a suite with no extra cost. Breakfast was included in our stay and was really nice (when you could order from the menu). We booked a couples Balinese massage at the spa which was really lovely.

Only issue we faced was some noisy guests in the room beside us who were up until 2 am chatting with about 10 people in their room. Hotel didn’t intervene until we asked them to. Guests did stop after this. Lovely pool, but needs more sun loungers, at times we weren’t able to use them as other guests were on them.

I liked everything at this hotel. The room was clean and looked like the same as the pictures on Booking, food was delicious. I’d like to highlight the staff. They were super friendly, smiling and helpful. Although I arrived in the hotel 2 days later than the date I booked for, they didn’t cancel my reservation and also, on my first day in Ubud they provided a free shuttle to the Ubud centre as I was the only one using hotel transport and didn’t have a local phone number to use Gojek or Grab to order a taxi. They cleaned the room every day and I liked their sustainability approach to the environment such as reusable glass water bottles.

Had a wonderful stay! The design of the building is beautiful. The room was very comfortable and well equipped, including with a kitchenette. The restaurant has a nice view of fields. One highlight the included breakfast - there is a large range of breakfast options and the ones we tried were fresh and delicious! The other highlight is the pool - it is a tranquil spot to relax and the pool is SO clean. It was easy to arrange a scooter through the hotel, for a reasonable price.

There was some construction going on as the hotel is adding a yoga area. Think it might be finished soon though, and it will be a great addition to the hotel once completed :)

This is a very nice hotel, I highly recommend it. It is wonderful and the staff are cheerful and always have a smile on their face. They helped us arrive and leave and extended our stay for a day at a nice price. They gave us a bike at a reasonable price. They are helpful, especially the employee Novita. She is helpful and always has a smile on her face and loves to help everyone. She provided us with everything we needed. She is the best employee. I advise everyone to come here because it is a wonderful hotel, the view is wonderful, everything is beautiful, and the restaurant in the hotel meets all needs.

The staff is amazing. 10 Pointe. For our very special needs the location is superb. For a typical Ubud visitor without private car / motorbike it might be not really convinient. Nearby is only Ruesters. A place for starlets and all these persons, want to spoiled with nothing than the illusion, to be impiortant or special. We cant recommend Ruesters, but there is nothing else really in reach from the hotel, if you are not mobile.

The food concept. Food Präsentation and menu less a bit of fine diniing, service and attitude and professionality is lovely but more Warung style. Anyway. Food is very tasty only the coffee is a disgrace. More authentic and lass fusion recommened. And sorry ro say - the recreation concept is very poor. The Spa is a loveless place, nö charme, no style and you will be disturbed by everything. Wrong location, poor concept.

First of all, hotel really met all of our expectations. The room had enough of daylight, it was spacious and clean. The bathroom is also pretty much big. The bed is really comfortable. We also enjoyed the view on the rice fields, palm trees and mountain. It is really relaxing. If we talk about the foods, the food that we ate at the hotel was really delicious (better than in some other restaurants that we tried and that had good reviews). What is more important, it was really fresh. Also, the breakfast is prepared when you order it, so you will be served with fresh breakfast. We also took the massage for couples which was relaxing and after which you have half hour of spa (definetly something to recommend for couples). The staff is very polite and will try to meet all of your requests. To wrap this up, one great experience.

Wadari is a beautiful hotel next to some peaceful rice fields. It is the most welcoming and friendly hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The chefs and staff were super helpful with our vegan diet and accommodated with kind gestures like swapping out eggs for tempeh and cooking separate vegan dishes for us when they were busy preparing a barbecue dinner for all the other hotel guests. And we can’t thank the front desk boy enough for helping us with the taxi ordering and trip suggestions. For folks who want to keep some distance from the busy Ubud city center, this hotel would be an excellent choice. If you are lucky, you might get to meet Bob, a lovely and playful dog from their neighbor’s house.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Quiet location, 10min away from the busy Ubud roads. There is an amazing restaurant and bakery right next to the hotel (Rosters). My mum had a Bali massage at the SPA and she absolutely loved it! Thank you to all Hotel staff!

The wardrobe light was turning on during the night and it bothered me a bit. The wardrobe door needs to be fixed.
