I liked the front desk service, the rooms where nice and spacious, with a nice kitchen area and the bathrooms were great. Having the fireplace on the balcony was a nice touch for those who get cold at night. The Pool and Jacuzzi pool were very nice.

The balcony was small for a 3 bedroom villas the pictures online show them larger with a table with seating for all. Update pictures to be actual rooms you are booking if different. You advertised the fire pit with s'mores when this was not operating due to insurance issues this should have been noted at the time of booking. Also the pool side gates should have key access and not make you walk all the way around. Also this last one not a major issue but it would be nice to have the pool open a little later in the summer months and not close at 9pm all year round.

It was beautiful and centrally located near shops and ski in/out location.

This is not really a stroller friendly property. There could be more signage for the elevator and ramps as well. The cable TV is outdated (no streaming or Bluetooth connectivity). The activity center could use an update (the basketball game is broken), regular cleaning/sanitation of their toys (some items had questionable dried up stains on them so I didn’t let my baby play with them), and the hours of operation for the activity center is not accurate (a staff member said it would be 15 minutes before someone would reopen for the advertised St Patrick’s day activity but no one came).

Lovely large apartment with great facilities. Kitchen had everything we needed. Facility was great with pool, gym and hot tubs accessible. Close to resort village for shops and food and on site fire pits and games. Great underground car park.

This is a ski resort and well appointed for the runs but in the summer needed 20 min drive to Lake Tahoe which was the main attraction in this season. This was not a problem as we had a car. Walking in hills was possible.

Location was excellent. And rooms, kitchen and bathrooms were nice sizes.

The furniture was outdated and need upgrades. The pool had no indoor access. Had to walk outside to get to pool area. No lodge or nice recreation area. And this facility is not really ski in and ski out but close walking distance to lifts.

Big appointment, kitchen, balcony, I like it.

you could hear the neighbors from all sides, it was very noisy and there were a lot of people in the jacuzzi, one family just sat every time and didn’t let anyone into the small jacuzzi, and in the big one there were only children and very small ones. It was not very pleasant to sit in the evening, there was no privacy, especially on the balcony.

The staff is excellent, the rooms are kitted out with all kinds of amenities, the fire pit was a surprise bonus, and the village wasn't something I knew about when booking. It was a (nearly) perfect winter wonderland!

The climate controls in the lodge room were too restrictive. Woke up overheated multiple times in the night because I could only set the thermostat as low as 67 degrees, far too warm for the down comforter on the bed. Taking out our own trash is weird. I have never before encountered a hotel where guests were required to do this.

2 bedroom villa is massive and can easily accommodate a large group of people. Kitchen is fully stocked. Large spacious bathrooms. Large open-concept living space and lots of areas for storage and this is important since ski gear tends to be bulky! Lots of closets and hangers etc.

It was in perfect location and easy to go back forth to Lake Tahoe beaches and then escape into mountains for tranquility . The Northstar Village with movie theatre, places to eat , the free dvd rentals & kid’s activities center with plenty games to borrow/ crafts to do.

Restaurants closed early at 8pm . Not much going on after 8p.

some of the furniture is a little worn could do with a bit of attention, there is no housekeeping unless staying for more than 5 nights

We made all of our meals, and the Viking appliances and Cuisinart pans in the kitchen are fantastic. In the 2-bedroom villa, we like having two bathrooms and separate beds/sofa bed for each of our three teenagers. The near ski-on location, taking the Gondola to the Ritz, was incredibly convenient. We went on a short hike on property, and received an extensive packet of additional hikes, ziplining and activities in the surrounding areas. We shopped at the local convenience store in the Village, so we didn't need to drive off property.

I think the sofabed would benefit from another topper in the closet, for comfort, and perhaps a third humidifier (they were really necessary since it was so dry). I would also recommend a garlic press, cheese slicer, and a narrower spatula in the kitchen (and bring your own foil). The food is expensive, both at Raleys at the convenience store, so I'd recommend planning ahead and bringing everything you'll need, or just eat out at Rubicon's pizza, or one of the other great restaurants in the Village.
