The beauty surrounding the place especially the gorgeous mountain of uncanny magnificence , an untold story one has to experience in person, indeed, a historic mountain mountain adorned by an amazing monastery. The beauty of many great beaches is some 40 minutes away, and around the corner you can experience the truly healing power of warm sulphur baths, of pristine water emerging from the depths of the Mother Earth. Above all, the unbelievable hospitality of the two sisters who own the place which is amazingly clean. The breakfast is spectacular with homemade cakes and delicacies.

Before arriving at the hotel, I had some doubts about whether I had chosen the right hotel or come to the right place. The location is a bit away from the city, but the area is not desolate. On the contrary, this small village gave my family and me one surprise after another. The hotel is run by two sisters, both of whom are very polite and helpful. They manage everything themselves, and the hotel are impeccably clean—I'm not kidding, really spotless, cleaner than some luxury hotels charging €300 per night. The hotel is modern in design, fully equipped, and offers comprehensive facilities. The village has a hot spring pool; although we didn't visit, we saw many tourists enjoying it when we passed by. About a 25-30 minute drive from the hotel, there are several natural hot springs, some with lower temperatures and others that are slightly warmer. I chose this hotel because, for the same price and location, it had much better reviews. I am very glad I chose it. Besides the natural hot springs, it's only a two-hour drive from the "Meteora." You could easily set out in the morning for a one-day trip. The village also has a delicious restaurant and a decent bar. All seven of us were very satisfied with this trip.

The location was ideal as a stopover after our arrival on a flight that day to Athens airport. It was about a 2 and a half hour drive north from the airport & a good place to stop on our way to Kavala the following day. The lady at check-in was pleasant and very friendly. She gave us information about where to find a restaurant we could walk to and she very kindly gave us apples to take away with us as we were leaving in the morning. Breakfast was good.

There wasn't really anything not to like. The hotel lived up to its advertisement.

Breakfast was excellent! Many choices---all delicious. Our room had a balcony that faced the mountains---very pretty. The hotel staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. My husband was able to set up an appointment for a massage, which he thoroughly enjoyed!

We liked everything......we were hoping that the "spa" would be easily available within the hotel proper. It was fine to walk (or drive) to the public thermal pools.....just not what we were expecting.

Everything! It was a perfect stopover between our road trip back to Athens. The staff and family were so helpful. We also had an amazing spa experience with a lil bottle of rosé. The breakfast was yummy and the rooms were clean and the bed super comfy. I don't think they've missed anything you could possibly require for the price you pay.

This hotel was lovely with a great view of Mt. Iti, but truly the best part was the staff. The town was pretty shut down for the season, but the staff - specifically Julie and Sophie - were extraordinary in providing information and assistance. We loved them! Julia was a godsend in helping arrange transportation (difficult in this more remote location) but she persevered! We’re indebted to her (and the amazing taxi driver who did transport us!) We took advantage of the spa too for massages and it was lovely! Quite a hidden gem!

We spent a night in Alexakis hotel and also used the spa facilities. It was a great stay! Very welcoming and polite staff, very clean, really nice decoration and amazing spa. The atmosphere is really relaxing and you feel very nice... Will definitely come back.

The hotel located in quiet beautiful nature area! We enjoyed our time staying in Alexakis hotel! Very comfortable rooms, renovated and have everything. The breakfast was excellent! Pictures view to the mountains from the windows! Very comfortable bed, we slept like a babies)). Highly recommended! Will back!

Excellent renovated hotel, with spacious comfortable rooms, and eco friendly mindset. Easy parking in front of the hotel. They also have basic spa facilities.

Although this has nothing to do with the hotel, Loutra Ypatis village is a miserable location, vividly showing its downfall from its once lively past. However, the village provides an excellent base to explore Fthiotida region.
