Upon entry to the property it was gated with a secure key code and we had a parking space. This was one reason we chose to book here. Peace of mind in a busy city with a hire car. We arrived early and were told we could checkin by 12 midday. Excellent! We unpacked and did a little sunbathing by the small but adequate pool. A small gym next to the pool we didn't use but a useful addition had we stayed more than 1 night. The house itself was like a stately home. Very grand and very in tune with the city. Old but classy. Very high ceilings all over including our very large bedroom on the first floor overlooking the front of the house onto the main road. We had a large double spa bath also in the room which we enjoyed later in the day. Breakfast was self service and plenty of choice. Either savoury or sweet. With as much coffee as you liked. We met both the owner and his daughter in the evening, both of which were extremely pleasant and helpful. A walk into the old town was 5 mins at most. Loads of restaurants and bars. Beautiful place!

Nothing to dislike really. Maybe a coffee machine in the room would be something I'd come to expect in most accommodation in Italy.

The whole package. Lovely high ceilinged liberty building. Super people. Loved talking to the owner who has an art foundation in the city which we really enjoyed visiting. Freshly made regional breakfast treats. Wonderful artworks. Close to a gate into the city and with parking. And a big double spa bath to relax in.

Nothing.

Big mansion within a fenced property with private secure parking, large comfortable room, reasonable sized washroom,, good breakfast with friendly helpful service, 100m or less from one of the old town main gates (Porta San Biagio), coming and going at any time like it's your own home. There is even an elevator if you need one. What more can you ask for? And the owner Manilo is always ready to help. If you need gas for your car, there is one just down the road about 300m away. If you need to do laundry, there is a coin laundromat just a short walk behind the property open 7am til midnight. And food options are aplenty inside the old town. San Biagio is also a convenient pickup and dropoff point for local tours to the vineyards, etc. Our GPS took us through an industrial type area to get to the property, but it turned out to be the shortest, most convenient, and least crowded way. We enjoyed our stay there.

Nothing to dislike.

Everything...the house is amazing and Manlio the owner was welcoming, gracious and knowledgeable about Lecce. The place is a few steps from one of the gates into the Old Town, so very close to everything. There is parking within the security gates of the house. Our room was small but perfect, with a beautiful terrace. Breakfast was typically Italian and served in the breakfast room from 8.00am. We loved our stay of only 1 night and would highly recommend it!

We liked everything!

I stayed here for 3 nights with my partner in June. Dimora Charleston SPA is a fantastic place to stay in Lecce. The property is situated about a 5 minute walk from Lecce Old Town. The property is a gated 2 storey mansion. You will need the gate code to access and park your car. Parking is at the front of the property and there is space for about 8 cars which is included in your stay. There is an outside jacuzzi / spa that is available to use. We stayed on the first floor. The room was huge with a private bathroom and big shared balcony that looked down on the front of the property. Breakfast was served each morning and was really nice. Coffee, bread, pasties, cakes and fruit juices. I would definitely stay here again when I am in Lecce.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Safety and the beauty of the facility were outstanding. The proximity to historical center cannot be beat. Private parking made this part of the trip easy and less stressful. Many thanks to Manleo for his wonderful hospitality.

At times, the room was a little warm. The small ac unit worked hard to cool a room of the size we stayed in. Everything else was very comfortable.

Great breakfast good choices, hot and cold with Italian cakes, different coffee offered with friendly staff. Fantastic location to visit Lecce easy walk into the Old Town, close to train station and 25mins walk to bus station, plenty of on-site parking for this who are travelling by car.

Amazing stay!! Beautiful building, huge comfortable and quiet room, parking on premises, great location right outside the old center, greeted with Leccese coffee and pastries, very gracious owner Manilo was very welcoming as was the the woman who greeted us (didn't catch her name), offered restaurant suggestions, made us a huge delicious breakfast an hour earlier than they normally start serving-can't say enough about Dimora! One of the top places we have stayed in our travels!

everything was perfect!

The bedrooms were large and the staff amazing. the lady who cooks the breakfast was full of fun and showed us the local dishes we could choose. the location of the property was excellent - 3 minutes walk from the old City and free secure parking.

Absolutely amazing place- this is a guy who rents out rooms in his own home for the sheer love of it, not a big corporate hotel. It’s a real treat to have private secure parking so close to the historic centre of Lecce. We were welcomed with almond pasticchio and cafe Lecchese, given advice and a map of what to see and where to go, and the breakfast was delicious!!

One tiny warning- I don’t know if all the rooms are like this but we were in Edith Piaf and because there was a glass panel in the bathroom wall, the shower was visible from the bed (as was part of the toilet). We know each other very well so managed to make it work but if I was with someone I had only just met I wouldn’t have been happy with so little privacy!
