A Slice of Paradise at The Palms on Nusa Ceningan I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Palms on Nusa Ceningan, and it was everything I hoped for and more. Perched right above the ocean, The Palms offers some of the best sunset views I've ever seen. Each evening, we were treated to a sky painted in breathtaking colors, all while lounging by the infinity pool or relaxing in their cozy outdoor seating. It’s an experience that stays with you long after you leave. The food and drinks are outstanding as well. The on-site restaurant serves a fantastic range of dishes, each one better than the last. Whether you're in the mood for fresh seafood, local flavors, or a comforting international dish, the menu doesn’t disappoint. And the cocktails! Perfectly mixed, refreshing, and imaginative, they were the perfect complement to the tropical setting. Don’t miss the chance to sip one of their signature cocktails as you watch the sun dip below the horizon. The staff deserves special recognition. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. They truly go above and beyond, making us feel right at home while anticipating our every need. Their local knowledge was invaluable as they helped us explore the best spots on Nusa Ceningan, from hidden beaches to scenic viewpoints. To top it all off, the hotel is impeccably organized and well-managed. Excellent view. Friendly, prompt staff. Ample chairs to sit outside with lots of shade. Lots of excellent restaurants just walking distance away for dinner or lunch. Excellent Spa just around the corner and also a convenience store. Looked at the surfers in the waves everyday. Love hearing the crashing of waves every night.

Couldn’t walk barefoot on old wooden deck at pool area. Even at check in they warned about splinters and to please wear shoes. Toilet in unit was not flushing. They sorted that within the hour. No hot shower that night. They fixed the pipe and exchanged the gas bottle the next morning. Breakfast wasnt really great. Was a set menu with limited options. Will be better not to prepay, so that you have more options to choose from on 2nd page. Make sure you book a room without the room above you. The wooden stairs going to second story is legit inside your room. Blocked off with wood, and the people stomp up and down that stairs from the early hours till late at night. Banging their wooden entry door. And you can hear every word they say, sneeze etc.

The location was excellent, rooms kept spotlessly clean, great choice of food that caters to all dietary requirement including vegetarian and vegan options, the staff were exceptional, attentive, polite, friendly, always available and polite. I highly recommend this place as it has everything that a large resort has yet has fewer rooms, which makes it more intimate and comfortable. The rooms are large and kept very clean, beds are comfortable. I cannot praise the staff enough.

Beautiful property on the cliff top with stunning ocean & coastline views . We stayed in Bungalow 1 with views from the gorgeous & very comfortable bed through to the pool area & ocean. The bungalow is well appointed & spacious. The staff & Jordan the manager were all very friendly, courteous & helpful. Also the location is great with a mini mart, laundry , restaurants & bars close by.

The view from the accommodation was exceptional and the sound of the waves beating the beach was relaxing.The owners,jay and Wayne were so attentive to us and everyone on the property.The food was amazing ,especially the fish of the day!The island is beautiful,dream beach and the Snorkling was the highlight on the island adventures.We seen a turtle on the Snorkling trip,which was amazing.The trip organiser Jordon sorted us with a cheap motor bike hire and escorted us to the location for the trip,also escorted us on and off the island.Top man!PS cocktails were strong,which we liked and we even invited jay and Wayne to our wedding.That’s how much we loved our stay.Thanks for the bottle of fiz too on departure.Nice touch!👌

Amazing location, great views. A little out of the main strip so great for those that want some peace and quiet. The food was excellent and flavoursome. Staff were attentive and helpful. The room could have been a little cleaner but it was still good. Expect a laid back, rustic, relaxing spot and watch some surfing action. Evenings here are so lovely, relax in the pool, watch little bats catching their dinner and watch the waves crash in right up the hotel walls. Sleep to the sound of the ocean.

There is nothing to not like.

We loved the FOOD - the friendly staff (Wayan our front of house man - outstandingly, friendly and helpful and Jordan who arranged our snorkeling) - the comfy beds - the roar of the ocean - watching the sunsets from the infinity pool - the convenience store a 2 minute walk away - the WONDERFUL beauty spa a 10 minute walk away. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. Just note you need to pay the taxi man that takes you from the yellow bridge to the Palms - was 100,000 IDR When we travelled. The Palms arranged our Rocky Fast Boat transfer from Seminyak Villa to Sanur Hotel at beginning and end. Very easy.

Not a thing to dislike about it. Just keep in mind it’s Island styles and not on the mainland. So has a more rustic feel.

From the moment you walk into The Palms you feel at peace. Jay & Wayne are so lovely & welcoming. Both working towards helping the local community to protect the environment. Our family had the two bedroom villa with sea views it was spacious, clean with gorgeous furniture, comfortable linen & beds. Opening the window at night for the sea breeze & the sound of the waves was beautiful, no mosquitoes. The food here is delicious, a must try if you can fit in desert is the freshly baked cheesecake with ice cream & a splash of Kahlua! We loved the friendly vibe here, shout out to all the bar/restaurant staff who are all so awesome too. We could easily sit in the pool & watch the surf here all day, the sunsets were just magic. This place was a highlight & nice reset on our trip, we look forward to returning one day.

This place is a hidden gem. Stunning ocean view, with a warm infinity pool overlooking the crashing waves. With the pool being so warm we definitely took advantage of the fact it was open till 9pm. Jordan and the rest of the staff are so friendly and accommodating. We slept with the windows open at night without a mozzie in sight due to the proximity to the beach and the beautiful breeze. The bathroom was perfect, nice and hot and had power points near the mirror. There are sunbeds and daybeds to spend your day in absolute serenity. Service cannot be faulted. We loved every minute of our stay.

Location was amazing right on the beach. It was awesome being able to watch the surfers from the deck. Sunsets incredible. Pools are great with fresh seawater. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I arrived sick and the host Jay arranged for the kitchen to make me some chicken and vegetable soup. It was delicious and just what I needed. Jay continued to check in on me for the length of our stay which was really appreciated. We will definitely be back.
