The location was great, super close to the University which is where I had to be during my stay, as well as very close to the hotel other family was staying at. Staff were very accommodating when I accessed them, including helping me out in altering my stay dates due to a family emergency back home.

I was a little disappointed in the breakfast- the milk had an altered taste and when I received my second day of breakfast, the cereal and peanut butter/condiments were unavailable to me, so I was stuck with dry toast. The yogurt was nice on the second day. Fresh fruit would have been preferred over fruit cocktail. The walls were thin, so I could hear a lot of chatting in the lounge area and the person in the next room's snoring. But I realize that this is unavoidable.

Everyone who worked there was so friendly, the shared spaces were really clean, and it is quite literally across the street from St. Andrew's College on the USask campus. Photo shows the view. It is a shared washroom, and in the entire week I stayed there, I never once waited to use it. The bathroom was clean. The cab ride from the airport was about $30. I was asked if I wanted to do meter or pay the flat rate of $35, and if worked out to do meter.... But if there's traffic, flat rate would be the better deal. This place is more like a hostel than a hotel-- but there's a lot of privacy, the room was clean, bed was comfy, lots of outlets, and a welcoming vibe.

The hallway light is always left on, which leads to light bleed into the bedroom. The building next door had really loud guests staying at it, which kept me up. Also, at exactly 8am every day I stayed there an alarm went off from the security system that beeped every 30 seconds. There were a few mornings where I couldn't find staff to ask to turn it off... But the wonderful woman who worked at 8:30 would come and turn it off when she started work.

Excellent price and location. The staff on at night as well as the one easily morning-who also would do laundry for a great price - were excellent to help.

Not all rooms equal value. We rented two and one was very nice while the other was missing things, like a desk lamp and was a little beaten up with broken latch and wall damage. One room wasn’t well cleaned due to a mistake with late checkout, but the staff immediately fixed that when we let them know.

The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful. One of them helped my wife and I carry our bags over a flight of stairs. The common areas like the kitchen and a sitting room area were very nice. The price was very reasonable

Well I would suggest that they create a ramp so that folks can wheel their bags in. It's not a show stopper but would make the experience better then lugging bags up over a flight of stairs. In all fairness the staff helped and it's a small flight of stairs.

The location was perfect for walking to the University, accessing the riverwalk trails and walking to Broadway. Tom, the on site security/manager, is very kind and personable. He made a fresh pot of coffee daily at 6:00 am - much appreciated.

Please be so kind as to provide fresh hand towels daily in the shared restrooms.

Hostel layout with kitchen facilities and lounge . The price, even though there was no sign of my 10%/ Booking. Com discount! Room 11 on lower level , farthest from traffic. Is quietest

When Hvac is not operating there is no sign of ventilation without opening the bedroom window , to a lot of traffic noise for upper southern rooms.

The room was clean and convenient, with friendly staff. The location was good for what we needed - walking distance to both the university and to the city centre and river. Although on a busy road, we did not hear any noise from our room. Our room had a shared bathroom, but this was not an issue as there was 1 bathroom for 2 rooms and it was immaculately clean.

It isn't a fault of the hotel, but note that there is no convenient shop nearby for provisions if you don't have a car. The hotel had facilities for us to cook, but we did not manage to easily buy any food. We ate at the university catering outlets instead.

The location is super convenient. Was thinking there might be a more private bathroom but the shared bathroom was also very clean. Get to use the kitchen and it was very convenient.

It was harder to find parking when first-arrived. Also easy to hear noises from other rooms as the soundproof was not good.

I really appreciated the community kitchen and hang out areas, you could meet other travellers, hang out and watch the city. Easy access to beautiful walking trails along the river. The room was as advertised, a room with access in and out with an ensuite, no smoking, no pets. The bed was comfortable enough. The amenties I needed were there and it was a local operation.

The only thing which wasn't bad, just if you have issues sleeping with light, the doors are not light cancelling so the hallway light shone through all night which meant the room was never completely dark. Wasn't a deal breaker; I would stay again. It was charming.

Fresh and up to date. Cleanliness was superb. Although the bedroom was relatively tiny, there were two shared kitchens and a very comfy lounge area. It was an easy place to stop over. (If you want to use the oven, you need to ask staff.). Staff are on round the clock.
