Breakfast and evening meal was buffet style. Both had very extensive choice, a mix of good quality and tasty vegetarian and meat options on every day, lovely salads and bread. The restaurant area was large, inviting and friendly. The bar area was cosy. All the staff were very friendly and attentive, certainly had a family feel within the staff.. Couldn't fault the food. The rooms were all had were varied in size, with ample space and a good size bathroom area. 5 min walk to the main lift. Only a short 3-5 min walk in to the centre of the town, where lots of choice of bars, restaurants and cafes. We never ate out so we can not comment on the cost of this.

Only that it was a low area to go to near the end of the ski season, this limited skiing beyond 1pm due to the temperature increasing in March. 2023, is / was a poor ski season for the Alps in general and therefore this being a low ski area suffered.

Perfectly located near center, gas station, supermarket and both gondolas! Very friendly and helpful staff! Especially Mikael in the reception. Big room with a big shared balcony. Breakfast is small but has the essentials (even for a vegan, bread, cucumber and tomatoes, some beans in tomato sauce)! A very nice sauna and sauna area! Very good price as well!

We didn’t mind but if you are sensitive too noise, the big road is just outside and it is well trafficked and might disturb some people. Again, we didn’t mind but the interior is on the older side but it is very clean!

Excellent location, super friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay fantastic- they made me a cake on my birthday & all came out to sing happy birthday to me- it meant a lot as you wouldn’t get this in a chain hotel. The food was brilliant, all home cooked & you could tell a lot of thought went into each meal. The location is really good, close enough to the town you can walk in easily but far enough away that you didn’t get a lot of noise in the evenings. Thank you too all at Koenig!

It could do with a little modernisation but is very comfortable as it is.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and big. Breakfast was great and dinner was served swiftly. Nice boot room with warm boot racks. They even arranged a taxi for us to zell am see.

Towels could have been changed, but we didn't ask. A couple more hooks in the room if we are being picky but I'd stay again without hesitation

The staff were very friendly and looked after our ever needs, especially when it came to dining in the evening. They had a good selection of food for breakfast and was presently effectively.

The single room that I had was good enough for what I needed, but was on the small side. This was evident when I came to pack!! To be honest, there wasn't anything that I didn't like. If an observation, the ski room became full limiting space for extra ski's etc.

The staff here was really quite friendly and helpful. Breakfast is "typical", but also very enjoyable and of sufficient quality. The abilty to walk anywhere in town easily was a real blessing and getting started in the morning didn't require us to do anything more than walk out the front door as the main lift is really just a few hundred meters away. The mountain region is lovely and being able to us the lifts for our cycling trip was a highlight.

The town of Saalbach seems to have a problem with good restaurants. There are plenty of impressive facades as one walks though the lovely inner-town pedestrian zone, but for us none delivered anything better than a sub-standard experience. The owners seem to know this, and not care. A captive audience of consumers that are rotated amongst the available tables in the over-priced restaurant locations.

The owners and staff are very accommodating, the hotel location is excellent as it close to all three gondolas and main high street. The breakfast and dinner provided by as really good everyday and rooms are clean and tidy. Also has extra facilities such as steam room and sauna.

There isn’t much I can say that was bad about my trip the ski room can get busy but that is out of the control of the Hotel.

Small hotel run by a very friendly helpful team. No pretence about it being something it’s not, it’s an honest value for money place run by Anjelika and her team.. they always have a smile on their face always happy to chat and always helpful

Really nice atmosphere in the hotel. Staff are super kind, helpful and very service minded.

Parking isn't included and the offered solution in the central town parking is quite expensive (19 EUR/day). The hotel is spotlessly clean, but the interior and and not least exterior could do with some renovating.

The personal was great, helpful and nice. It is great value for the money. Easy to get anywhere from there. We had bikes with us and it wasn’t problem to leave it in basement with camera security.
