Very well finished rooms in an older building, looks like it has had a recent makeover and it's been done very well. Quaintly decorated rooms downstairs for breakfast/dinner. Area for dinner outside. One of the staff was able to talk to us in English, which was appreciated as our German is minimal. She didn't think she did that well, but she was perfectly understandable.

Unfortunately there's no air conditioning in the hotel, which we knew, but we happened to be there probably on the hottest night of the year so far. There wasn't a fan in both of our rooms and the one that was there didn't help. Our lovely rooms were at the front of the hotel next to the road, so with the windows wide open we heard all the traffic, which started at about 5.30am.

It's a very beautiful hotel, the gardens and outside area are very well maintained. It was peaceful.

The shower room was badly maintained, there was a lot of black and pink mould in the shower which we mentioned at the hotel. They said it was being attended too but this is an absolute no no, especially for people with asthma. We were impressed with the orange squeezer to make fresh orange juice but very disappointed that there were no oranges available at breakfast on the second day at 09:10. No good view from the bedroom window as suggested in the description.

Excellent food, friendly and helpful staff, good shower, plenty of warmth for a very cold night and a very comfortable bed. Beautiful location. Thank you!

The corridors and stairs had a rather odd smell, but this was a temporary issue which the owners were getting sorted. Bedrooms, reception and dining rooms were absolutely fine 👍

Quiet area, plenty of parking. Clean room and cool even on hot the summer day we were there. Good buffet breakfast, plenty of choice and luckily plenty of tables available in good size nice breakfast area. Nice staff and tea garden upstairs outside. Had a great trout dinner there. Good value for money. Enjoyed the quiet area.

It is a lovely size- a proper hotel but with an intimate feel. Immaculately clean everywhere Friendly staff Great beds Fabulous food at a fair price Amazing breakfast One of the staff helpfully sorted out a question for us about our stay at a hotel in Berlin for the next night regards the Berlin clean air zone.

The shower was a little awkward to get into and had no grab rails.

Lovely breakfast, everything there for a good start to a hiking day, location excellent for me as walking trail next to hotel, staff are very attentive and helpful, evening meal was delicious, hotel has a lovely ambience

The room was clean and had a seating area. We appreciated having somewhere to safely store our bicycles. Having a coffee machine in the room was good. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Location is superb. It is quiet and peaceful. The room is also very big and reasonably priced. Breakfast is exceptional. The staff were very friendly and even took the effort to accommodate our late check-in as we were at the Hannover fair happening across town.

Nothing, all is good.

This place looks brand new! Spotless, fresh and really comfortable! Staff was nice and helpful and the restaurant was amazing, great food! Definitely come back in here in the future.
