Easy to find with a pub offering really good food! Beside the reception is a big cold beer and wine store with snacks available as well. Warm welcome from friendly staff. The town was just a stopover for us, but we drove the few blocks to the river where there's a beautiful park--nice after an all-day drive. A very comfortable room with everything you need and no fancy embellishments. We really liked the art, local rural photos on canvas rather than typical generic prints.

I was granted the quiet top floor room I asked floor, but it had only a high narrow window like a horizontal slit, straight out to the ventilation system on the pub roof. Not a problem for a one night stay, but it might have been claustrophobic for longer than that. Kind of an industrial feel to the building with heavy slamming doors, but this probably provides good security.

A cold breakfast had good choice of item. Cereals, fruit, yogurt and muffins. Nice variety! Beds were heavenly!! Loved them with all the pillows and comfy mattress! Had a good rest! Enjoyed the large screen TV!!

Exit door was just outside our hallway. Smokers would come and go without consideration of the noisy exit door. Bathroom could have used some upgrades. Striker plate on the lock to the room needed some adjustments. Door would not always lock.

This is an ordinary traveller's motel with an extra ordinary staff. The room was nice, the beds comfortable, the en-suite gleamed, and everyone we met were friendly, and helpful. In addition, I left a cardigan in the room, and I received a phone call to tell me about it before I even knew I had lost it, and the day after we finally got home it arrived in the mail. Now that is customer service.

The breakfast was a bit basic!

I liked the fact that even though it was just off the highway, I did not hear traffic noise in my room (which was on the back part of the property). Staff were friendly and helpful.

On Saturday night many people (who I think were in the restaurant) were outside making a lot of noise until after 1:00 a.m. Also, I didn't realize that the room didn't have a hair dryer until the morning and then I couldn't reach anyone at the front desk or by calling the number provided. I had to wait until after 8:00 and then go to the front desk and call from there before I was able to get a hair dryer. I suggest that people be asked on check-in if they will be needing a dryer.

Located in town was great and close to everything, restaurants, grocery stores, including our family which we visited.

Funny enough Location only because of the train which travels regularly through the town day and night. But once settled in and with ear plugs didn't hear it after awhile.

it wasa continental breakfast, we were able to just grab a couple of muffins and go. Not a real sit down relax type setting but good if you wanted to be on your way in short order- by definition. Other then that, I hada nice sleep, bed and amenities were good. I especially liked that they gave us 2 pouches of caffeinated coffee instead of 1 decaf pouch.

Great service by staff and manager in response to questions and room matters including assistance with business documents. Really awesome restaurant with friendly staff (one meal lacked substance but was remedied) Superb renovations. Room was super clean and comfortable.

I would have liked access through back entrance due to my disability/mobility. Proximal ambient railway horn through the night was quite disruptive to my night's sleep. Glitchy TV connection but got quick remedy.

The room and beds were quite comfortable We had a problem with the A/C but the staff was great and very helpful. Did everything they could to help us to make our stay enjoyable. We are quite thankful to them.

rooms/ staff were helpful and considerate sheeta cleane , lighting good water hot.

bed was very soft, please put sign up DO NOT LET DOORS BANG AFTER 10PM TO 7AM. no night staff on but a number you could call. no hairdryer in room but available at desk said breakfast 0630 -11 but not tgete till after 7am stairway not cleaned could draw in dust, carpets f were not vacuumed

Staff was great, clean rooms, quiet. The beds, including linens and blankets, and pillows were comfortable and warm for the north.

An extra or larger mirror in the room would have been nice, especially when more than one person is in the room. Everything was very good.
