I stayed at this hotel for one night and had a generally positive experience. The room was cozy and located in a corner, which provided a bit of extra privacy. I arrived after midnight, but I had contacted the hotel earlier, and they kindly accommodated my late check-in. The room is situated within shoplots, which is worth noting. Overall, considering the price, it was good value for money.

The room and the bathroom was really clear too. The reastorant next to the hostel is really delacious too.

The room is so clean and beautiful. Toilet tip top 👌 👍 There is a lot of food/restaurants from the hotel.

The place is very well located in the heart of Tanah Rata, right next to the market and many restaurants. The rooms are modern and new, the bed is comfortable and the owners and staff is very nice, alwasy down to help us with anything we needed. They provided us towels upon request. The restaurant next door is also theirs (Curry Leaf), we ate here both nights as we loved it so much 😌 There is also free water in the communal kitchen and a big kettle if you need some hot water. At the end of the hall, you can also sit on a tiny outside balcony that has 2 chairs and a little table 😌

As for cleanliness, the room was ok, the sheets and towels were clean but not the floor unfortunately, that was quite sticky. But the worst part was the shared bathroom - it was really dirty and not cleaned at all during our 2 nights there. I only saw the trashcan emptied once but that was it really. It made me feel a little sad because everything is so nicely built, but, with the lack of cleaning, it will be ruined soon because of the mold and rust 😔 Also, because of this, I am not sure I would come back again.

The location of the hostel is very strategic, good for those travelling via bus as the freesia bus station is quite near. The hotel is newly rennovated and i hope i will remain as it isnin the future. If you are driving parking is also available aplenty, making it is so convenient.

The signage of the hotel is at the door only, guest may take sometime to locate it. The key collection counter js at the mamak’s (indian restaurant) counter, with suria hostel/hotel signage.
