Riad Roxanne enchanted us with its culture. Its magnificent clean pool and amazing breakfast were unbelievable. The rooms, corridors, and surroundings were clean and tidy. The air conditioning was working well. The room was completely authentic, with Moroccan touches everywhere. Every detail in our room, from the bathtub to the soap holder, was well-thought-out. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They assisted us with planning our desert trip. Ali and Emine from the hotel team took care of us personally. Special thanks to the hotel manager, Ali Abi. We will definitely choose it again for our next trip to Morocco.

Really friendly and warm stuff. They booked for us pick up from the airport and were always there to help if we had any questions or requests. The riad is surrounded by greenery inside and is a pleasant oasis, especially when it's warm and sunny. Good pick up point (5 minutes walk). For someone who want to experience a real Marrakesh holiday - it will be the perfect place.

I will focus on my subjective feelings (for someone maybe it’s not important at all). I missed a lot of daylight in the room, but I understand that this is the specificity of the Riad. The location was about 20 minutes to the main square (as it said in the description) but I didn't realize that walking through the noisy and crowded medina every day would be so overwhelming for us.

Beautiful and tranquil, amazing spaces to chill out on (rooftop, pool, library and garden). We had a lovely stay here and liked that it was out of the hustle and bustle. We had a hire car so were able to park our car very close and then were picked and dropped off up in the golf buggy, super helpful for us with our suitcases. Friendly staff, we enjoyed the walk to the main square, did it at night and in the early hours of the morning and it felt safe and well lit. Air conditioning for both summer and winter was also great.

It was a pretty amazing place, so these are very small things. Our shower didn’t drain properly and we asked if it could be fixed but it still flooded the bathroom within 5 minutes of showering. We also asked for our room to be cleaned as some sand from the desert had fallen onto our floor from our clothes, but it wasn’t cleaned well and still had sand on the floor. We also left just before 8am on our checkout day and wanted to have breakfast before we checked out, but was only able to have a glass of juice/tea/coffee and a small piece of cake. Like I said, small things, we enjoyed our stay overall :)

This is a beautiful riad! We loved our stay! The staff are super friendly and helpful. We stayed in the suite, I would highly recommend the suite, it had plenty of room with your own outdoor space and jacuzzi on the rooftop. The bedroom had one of the nicest baths I’ve ever been in! The bed was massive and very comfy. On arrival we were greeted with moroccan tea and cake. It is about a 20min walk to the main square, don’t be put off by that, you get to see loads of the neighbourhood on your way and cool little stools and shops. I want to say a massive thank you to the staff, they are all amazing!

It is very hard to find. The staff at the riad WhatsApp me to arrange to meet us from our taxi, they came with a golf cart to collect us and our luggage to the riad, this was a fun experience through the narrow streets to the property. We got lost coming back from the main square, I contacted the staff at the riad, sent them a photo of our location and they came straight away in the golf cart to take us back.

Very beautiful riad! Friendly, kind and caring staff. The location is great - walking distance from Jemaa el fna square (approx. 20min), but not on the main street, so it's much quieter. The meeting point Bab Aylan for most excursions is also very close (approx. 5 min). The directions to the riad are clearly visible from all the streets in the immediate area. Very comfortable bed and beautiful room decoration. A green oasis in the middle of Marrakech!

We had a great stay at Riad Roxanne, which is a lovely and charming oasis in the oldest part of of the medina, hidden behind a blank door. Once inside, its 12 rooms are all individually decorated and furnished, and are grouped around a beautiful courtyard pool. The staff were all very friendly, and couldn't have been more helpful.

WiFi was fine on the ground floor around the pool, but very weak and intermittent on the top floor where we stayed - a router extender would help. Our room lacked a clothes rail and hangers, so we couldn't hang up our clothes and had to lay everything flat or leave it in our cases. It was also odd that the room had no waste bin, only a tiny one in the bathroom. Breakfast was fine, but it would have been nice to have some choice.

The Riad felt like walking into an oasis after a day out in the bustling Medina. We enjoyed so much the leafy garden and beautiful pool and felt sheltered from the heat that hit during our stay. The Riad's decoration of its rooms and common areas was very tasteful and personal. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly when I was unwell. Spending the day there in such surroundings was exactly what I needed at that time.

The website did mention a 20 minute walk to the main square, however, we didn't factor in the Riad's location in the local community, and the rather uncomfortable walk to anywhere we wanted to go. It seemed to take us 25-30 minutes and we hadn't realised it involved dodging speeding motorbikes. However, if our taxi on arrival had dropped us at the closer Medina gate, rather than further away, we would have realised that a taxi to and fro would have been easier on some occasions. But we did get a fuller picture of Marrakech than many tourists would see....

Amazing location! 5 min walk to local markets, and 15min to the square!! You want to stay here! The property is full of plants and flowers Has a pool all year round which is great! The property is so beautiful, a hidden paradise in Marrakech. Food is excellent !!! Staff are EXCEPTIONALLY good! Very accommodating!! Super friendly, and always eager to help! Honestly, this was an amazing stay! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

It’s a busy location, so it can be noisy at night. Ear plugs helped my friend :)

I have to mention that the staff is extremely helpful and very kind. The Riad is clean, very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. I would recommend this Riad for anyone wanting to live away from the main square. The breakfast options are good and the spread is all you can eat.

2 things that I would want the Riad to improve: Given the price of this Riad is close to most luxury ones, the Riad is not close to the main square and other places. It is a good 25min walk from everything and though they say it is only 10mins it is not 10mins; its a good 20-25 mins. Also, for the price I would expect toiletries in the room. It would also be good if they served breakfast on the sun terrace like most other Riads.

Riad Roxanne is as delightful and charming as the pictures seen on the website. The dipping pool is clean and refreshing and the roof terrace lovely for some quiet time in the sun. All of the staff are friendly and customer focussed - we were sad to leave and would definitely stay again.

I think because it’s a little further away from Jemma El Fna we were approached by local lads who thought we were lost or needed to take us to the Riad which got a little annoying and felt less safe. One tried to follow us into Riad Roxanne and our nightman helpfully managed to get him to leave. I’m sure this happens across the town but because it’s a little further out, it does make you look over your shoulder more.
