The hotel is situated in countryside and has lots of parking space. It is close to Suisse border and relatively close to Geneva. The rooms are relatively spacious and quiet. It is possible to have dinner in the hotel. On the upside, free parking is provided within the gated space in front of the hotel's entrance.

The receptionist charged us too much in spite of precise instructions and our calculations step by step. It took us three visits in two days to the reception desk to get reimbursed. Breakfast has some nice french food, however vegetables were missing either fresh or pickled, e.g. tomatoes, cucumbers, paprika etc. Also, we came on breakfast at 9 o'clock and many things were already missing. It seems that they are understaffed and under supplied on weekends.

Breakfast was of excellent quality, varied and fresh. Dinner too was excellent. Staff was kind and helpful. The cleaning lady respected the NO CLEANING sign on our door even if we stayed in the room until 14.00. She cleaned only after our departure. Beds were very comfortable too.

The key was disactivated all the time. I had to go to the reception often to reactivate it, even 2 times in a row although I kept it far from my mobile phone. There was a confusion with the name of the other IBIS near by. My cousin booked to the other hotel by mistake. Staff was helpful enough to change it with no fee at the last moment. They should better differentiate the 2 hotels. Ours had a dinner place and this was really nice.

Everything was perfect and the staff was amazing and helpful, since the first time I stepped in( late night, maybe later than midnight) I felt welcomed. One thing that amazed me was the breakfast!!! First time in my life I have seen a breakfast like this in every Ibis I stayed in Europe( and they are quite lot as I am a business traveller). Everything was fresh..fresh like one minute ago fresh, hot from the oven. Big range of choices and everything was quite a lot. Very very satisfied from everything there!!!

Everything was perfect. No worries from the beginning till the end of my stay. Everything run smoothly! As a frequent traveller to Geneva, that will be my first choice. Please keep up the good work guys! Cheers from Vienna 👋🏻

Decent Hotel to stay near CERN. Has a decent restaurant and friendly staff. The breakfast provided in the morning was good.

For the price I am paying, I expected a bit more. Some tea/cofee in the room would have been nice. Also note that the location of the hotel is somewhat in the middle of nowhere. If you are visiting for work, say at CERN, this is a good place. Otherwise your stay may be a bit boring.

I've stayed at the St. Genis Ibis multiple times and I've always had a good stay. The staff are absolutely the best and are what makes this place great. My room was tidy and had a remarkably large bed (for France), probably a queen. The breakfast is exceptional and dinner is also wonderful. I will definitely stay here again when the opportunity arises. They have very reasonable bicycle rentals at the hotel, much cheaper than in Geneve. I'll definitely rent next time. the staff was great driving me to the airport at an early hour and I was the only person needing a ride so it was a lot of work for them in Geneve traffic, but they were great!

These are minor points. I'm always on foot when I stay here and the location is slightly odd (for a walker). If you are driving you can ignore these comments. The hotel is a slight distance from the bus stop in St. Genis, and its a bit of a trail-walk... nothing the hotel can do about it. If you are a runner, jogger, cyclist, there is a bridge at the southern end of the industrial park which takes you to a trail on the opposite side of the Autoroute... highly recommended for exercise. For CERN travellers, its a great place to stay, but a long walk. I've done it many times.

rooms are nice, large, quiet, comfortable . AC works well. the building looks and feels new. staff very friendly.

Breakfast is poor - no veg. old fruits. but reasonable pastries. coffee.... is sad... location is not nice - middle of an industrial park. good if you have a car, bad any other way. walk to bus is about 1 km. travel to cern is a nightmare. promised shuttle never worked. (3 days, every day - today no...)

Staff were excellent and the restaurant was much better than I expected

Mosquitos. The doors were open all the time resulting in me getting bitten while eating dinner. Also the air conditioning in the building wasn't coping with the heat, probably due to the open doors

Clean, simple, friendly.

Food was disappointing on occasions. Chicken fillet was a small slice of breast that was inedible. Really only of use to a cobbler. 'Bar' wasn't seabass. Sauce vierge wasn't sauce vierge. If these were served in UK, closures would have followed. Complained and was told that the chef would be told. No response from the - I would imagine, short order cook - upsupervised? And on work experience?. No reply anyway - can only assume they don't care how the customer feels. Or perhaps, whisper it who dares, they think they know better than the customer....... Surely not in France, where the food is, of course, sublime. Or subliminal. Other than that, the staff were delightful and we had a great few days in difficult over-riding circumstances.

In my opinion, this is an excellent hotel close to Geneva. Tasty and nice breakfast.

Everything was ok. The bus stop is within 10-15 min of walk from hotel - the path could be in asphalt not rocky.

It was lovely to have a pool to jump into even though it poured rain the second we walked out. we were late back the next day and didnt get to have a swim again. We chose the property becasue of pool, aircon and parking. After some previous let downs we were pleasantly surprised. staff were amazing.

The location was in a far flung part of Geneva on the French side. getting into town involved a long walk, a bus and a long tram ride. It was ok but took a large chunk of our day away.
