Our room was the perfect size and allowed our teenage kids to have a degree of independence with our worry. Food was of a good quality and variety during our stay The kids club staff were excellent and our younger kids really enjoyed the activities.

Our room was located at the edge of the resort and was, for the most part quiet. However, construction works at the adjoining site did start quite early in the morning. The pools were a little too cold for our kids but use of the indoor spa pool meant they didn't miss out.

The hotel is located right next to the beach with great view and small private beach zone. The rooms were spacious and comfy. It is definitely a great place especially for family with small kids. They have very rich program of all day activities and you can't be bored during your stay. Also they have great and clean swimming pools.

The all inclusive is not a real 5-star experience - the drinks are of low quality, especially the cocktails. The food was okay, but not excellent (the desserts for example were pretty much the same all the time). It was not so clean and tidy in some areas of the hotel. The beach beds on the beach were old and some of them broken.

The hotel was nice for a group with kids like us, there were a lot of fun things for kids to do between activities and entertainment. Hotel is 20 min away from chania.

We got the normal all inclusive and I was surprised that we couldn't get bottled water with our regular all inclusive and that it was for the super inclusive bracelets. It's only bottled water it should be included regardless!

A really nice hotel complex, lovely pool areas and great access to the beach. Warm sea, shallow with soft sand. Great for the kids to swim in. Good location in a quiet rural setting and with excellent facilities for the kids. Good selection of food at the buffet. We had some really good meals. The animation team and kids club staff were excellent!

The two tier all inclusive arrangement led to delays getting served drinks where the 'premium' customers ordered cocktails which took a while to prepare. This was by no means a big deal!

We stayed 6 days at Kiani beach resort in August. It was a family holidays with our two daughters ( 8 and 6 years old). It was a so peaceful holidays that I can only thanks the whole staff. We had small maisonnette on the garden with a small see view. It was really quiet and with a really high level of comfort. It was modern and really clean room. Regarding facilities the hotel is doing really great with two sites (north and south). Two swimming pools ( one have three 50m lines) . The access to the beach is instant. We can only complain that the beach is small but the water is warm and transparent so it’s really great. For food, the hotel provides a lot of different dishes and you can have healthy foods every day. Kids can have French potatoes, nuggets or pastas if they want. For cocktails, I would like to thanks Aggeliki for her kindness and good drinks she provided us. As a nutshell it was a really really pleasant stay, it worth every single penny. Comfort facilities was really high, team is really kind and the hotel should spend more on animation / spectacles to reach the best in class

The all inclusive options give access to a restricted number of not premium cocktails. If you want classical cocktails ( spritz, mojito ) you will have to pay an extra. Table cleaning was slow. The team should be increased and better organized to handle customers shifts. Nothing offending but there is room for improvements. Every day there are animation on both sites, the team is doing is best to make events on two different sites ( north and south). From my point of view even if they are providing a good animation service they should be twice the number of people to spread a good animation / belonging vibes to the hotel.

As a Swiss guy my expectation of a 5 * hotel / resort is a bit higher than what we got at Kiani Beach. For a 4 * hotel it would be ok to good, for a 5 * hotel it was poor. Too many little things were not ok. Just one small example (out of a longer list): running out of coffee spoons and coffee beans during breakfast times - several times! As guest of a 5 * hotel i don’t like to spend my time waiting in front of the coffee machine…

Room and staf are great. Some of the entertainment was fun for small kids. Youth and adults was mostly poor.

1. Pool water could be warmer. Most time too cold to use the pool. 2. Shuttle is a mast. It was impossible to travel out side the resort. Bua services is not working. I would expect the hotel to provide few times a day a shuttle to Chania at least. 3. Some of the kids activities and bingo charge extra money. The pool and extra play ground need to be paid with coins. Would expect to have this facility free of charge.

Location, the beach just 50 meters away, although there were lots of people it did not feel crowded

The Bar lady over charged on a bottle of Prosecco which was then fixed by the F&B Manager. We had the VIP pass which stated we could have branded alcohol. There was no Jack Daniels, so asked for Remy Martin Cognac - there was none, asked for Metaxa 12 star and again nothing. We stayed in a 1 star hotel in Hora Sfkian and even they had it! So as a consequence we did not even use the VIP gold bracelet other than for meals/

Functional rooms.New equipment, various categories of rooms are single-storey and double-storey. Each room has a hidden small kitchen (very convenient for the youngest children).New functional rooms.The bathroom is a good size. Freshly juice for breakfast. There are many different pools.Children's pools with small slides and warm water. Morning animation in the kids club and on the street and evening animation in the form of daily mini discos. The animation team is led by Mr. Alex.Thanks to Alex for the individual approach to my child.I recommend that parents resolve any issues through Mr. Alex if there are misunderstandings with the animators.Thanks Alex. Wonderful staff management of the whole hotel.I would like to express my personal gratitude to the hotel manager, Mrs. Pelageya.

The entire hotel is designed to serve parents with children from England, America, etc.Unfortunately, there is no Greek-speaking person in the animation team.That is, Greek children in Greece cannot express their desires and communication in Greek.
